Coronet City,
Corellia

The light of day shines bright upon the prestigious core world Corellia. Spectre, also known as Jack Lawson never thought he would be stepping forth on his former homeworld. He remembers just it was yesterday when CorSec caught on to him hacking and stealing credits electronically. He was so uncharacteristically careless and he to get away and leave the planet or face certain arrest. Obviously to get to the point where he is now, he left the life he had behind him. His friends, his family. He left with only the clothes on his back for Nar Shaddaa, smuggled aboard a freighter with the remaining credits he had on him.

But look what he had accomplished since then, he joined up with the Hutt Cartel as a basadi, learned to become a good shot with a pistol, learned to use his computer skills for hacking and slicing, became a good infiltrator, but his crowning achievement, becoming a Hutt Cartel Vigo. His choices had lead him to this point and in hindsight wouldn't change a thing. It's either that or be stuck in some boring IT job.

Not long after stepping out of the shuttle the Vigo would clear his mind and focus on what he had came here fore. Lawson along with a good friend of his, Ark went on Canto Bight in search of a codebreaker for his upcoming project, now the slicer is here to recruit one of his own friends for his project as well. For what Spectre is planning on, he will need people good at what they do, and he could use another computer specialist much like Lawson himself.

Spectre did his homework (like usual) before arriving. He has in mind one of his old friends from his time in Coronet City's university. He was a good friend and roommate of his. 'Was' being the operative word. Much like Lawson's own family, he never seen or heard from or of him after he left the planet. But he still lives in the city in the same apartment, but he only has a month until he graduates. His name is Jerimias Oliver (or just 'Jerry' for short). Spectre is prepared to offer him credits, adventure, and the perks of being a member of the Hutt Cartel.

The Cartel Vigo has to be careful as well, his past made him somewhat of a wanted man. He arrived in a shuttle and has fabricated identification on him with another name on it. He would be wearing his normal black suit, he would have his armor protection hidden underneath it all and gadgets on him, as well as his normal electronic equipment. He has his blaster pistol placed on his shoulder holster hidden under his jacket. Although he isn't expecting CorSec to be on to him, he will be prepared just in case, just the way he likes it.

Right now, Spectre would be waiting at a bench with-in walking distance of apartment building where his old friend lives. As other citizens go about their days around him, Spectre would have his head looking downwards at his datapad held up as he was fiddling with it, taking only frequent glances of his surroundings every now and then . He isn't coming here alone though, as he is expecting Parvis to show up. The slicer reached out to him to meet him at his location and was briefed on what is the prize here is. Parvis is a capable Cartel enforcer of many talents, that he knows. Spectre is early as usual, he would be awaiting Parvis to arrive. Any minute now... Once they meet up, they can go up the stairs to Jerry's apartment

Parvis wasn't very good with slicer and the like - machines seemed to have a way of breaking down when he worked on them for too long and it was only by deliberate sabotage by himself perhaps one in four times. Most of the time the things just really didn't like what he asked them to do, got corrupted or otherwise just died painful deaths while he watched on, either in bemusement or annoyance.

Normally annoyance but sometimes he managed to not actually be angry about it and just appreciate how strange it was that machines just rejected him so utterly.

But the short version of his musings? He was very glad that he was here to pick up a hacker and all-around computer tech wizard rather than being asked to attempt to do the thing himself. Parvis was something of an all-rounder but he drew the line at doing anything more than a simplistic, 'brute force' hack. So he was glad to find that Spectre had someone else in mind for that - though there wasn't any guarantee that the sharp dress Vigo would actually want his help further down the line with this little plot of his, but Parvis was going to lend a hand when asked.

Working with Spectre was rather fun after all.

Dressed in his own armoured, and gadgeted, suit with his pulse wave pistol holstered at his side, Parvis walked through the streets of the city was a slightly disinterested air that disappeared when he spotted Spectre waiting on a bench. Rather than sit down himself, Parvis merely pulled out a packet of cigaras and passed one to Spectre. It gave them a good cover as to why two men would be standing around like this after all,

"I hope I didn't keep you waiting."

Left unsaid was that Parvis was on time and Spectre had likely been quite early.

"You don't mind if I smoke, do you?" he asked Spectre, holding fire on lighting his cigara until he got the other man's approval, "Just gives us a good reason to be standing around outside for now."

Spectre even as he had his datapad held high, he could see Parvis come into view. He is looking rather dapper as well, like a professional, Parvis does fit that image rather well. "You're fine" he would reply to Parvis' inqury if he can smoke a cigara. It's fine by him and then nod with his reasoning. He would lower his datapad just a little bit so Parvis is sure to hear him. "You ready for this?" he would ask the Cartel basadi with a soft voice. Soft enough that he isn't grabbing the attention of the various citizens passing through here and there, but enough that he can be heard. He trusts that Parvis has been briefed on the the task at hand. All Parvis would have to is nod his head or mouth saying it, something similar. And then Spectre would be on his way up the stairs of the apartment. "Don't follow me too closely, and try keeping a look out on the outside if I go in," he would ask of Parvis. Spectre isn't expecting things to get too badly, but CorSec is after all a galactic famous law enforcement agency known for their competence and professionalism. He is hoping that the measures he is taking against CorSec is working. He is a wanted in Coronet City for illegal hacking. And CorSec getting involved might complicate things. Sure, Lawson probably could have hired a basadi to take his place here, but to convince his old friend Jerry to join him, it would be pretty odd a random stanger you never met telling your best friend from university is a Hutt Cartel Vigo. Doubtful. It would be best if the Cartel Vigo did this personally.

They would have to go stories up to get to Jerry's apartment. Once near the door of Jerry's apartment. He would sigh, taking a deep breath. "Here it goes" Spectre muttered under his breath. He would then start knocking on the door. Parvis should have found a spot to be looking out for any CorSec or other police authorities. He can keep smoking his cigara, look at a datapad as he takes a frequent glance, sit on a bench that gives him a good view of the apartment door and the outside on the same floor. Having knocked, he is expecting that Jerry answers the door.

Enjoying his cigara before they were certain to get back to being entirely professional again, Parvis hummed a little bit as he enjoyed another drag from it. It wasn't often that he found the time to indulge in the habit but when it helped to be part of his cover then it was all the more reason to go for it in his book. He heard Spectre ask if he was ready for this and rather than responding verbally, he just locked gazes with the man for a moment before nodding once. That way Spectre would be certain he was responding to him while onlookers wouldn't really know what kind of by-play was going on between the two of them.

He could do not following too closely - the trick to tailing someone successfully was to have several people or a large distance between the two of you so that it never looked like you were following them. This case? Well it was a slightly more relaxed case than that but he would keep it in mind regardless.

Whereas Spectre took the lift to get to the right floor, Parvis took the stairs instead.

That way they weren't travelling together and by the time he got to the right floor, Spectre was waiting in front of the door as Parvis was coming up the stairs. He walked straight past Spectre without slowing and without looking at the other man, moving to one of the windows further along the corridor where it was obvious by the ashtray that smokers would stand to smoke without actually leaving the building.

The fact that it gave a commanding view of the main entrance to the complex was just something that Parvis noticed.

Once in position he pressed a button on his com link twice, sending two quiet beeps to Spectre's own com unit to confirm that the coast was still clear. If he sent one, continuous, beep then the coast wasn't clear and they were going to be having some company. But for now he just readied another cigara and prepared himself for a bit of a wait.

After Jack Lawson started knocking on the door a few times, footsteps could be heard from inside the building. "Yes, coming" The door would then open, and then a short, brown-headed, young man, answered the door, revealing Lawson's old friend, Jerry Oliver. Jerry Oliver was one of Lawson's better friends in his university days. He was in disbelief as he had shown up at his front door, because the last he knew Lawson disappeared off planet after the CorSec authories caught on to him. Has he been hiding out all this time "Lawson, is that you?" he would ask, with a puzzuled look on his, wondering where his friend had been all this time. They need to get caught up. "Well, well, what are you doing here? I thought you left Corellia entirely? How have you been?" he excitedly gave Lawson a barrage of questions. "Oh yeah, come in, come in!" he would say to his friend.

As Jerry would have answered the door, there would be another person watching nearby. There would be a man wearing a tan trench coat over a grey suit , he would arrive at the bench on the same floor, he was there in time just to see Lawson's front at the door. In reality this man is a detective for CorSec, he's been on the case for Jack Lawson ever since he was evidence to have been partaking hacking, and has been tasked with trying to bring him into justice. The case was growing cold day by day, week by week, and then they resorted to keeping an eye on his known accomplices and friends, not arresting them, but observing, maybe bugging their apartments while they were away. Arron Noble has grown more ruthless, impatient, and cutthroat and all he wants to do is close this case, bring the guy to justice, and close this case for good. Arron, then gets out of his seat and moves around a little, moving himself a good 7 meters to the Lawson's side, trying to be as subtle as possible. The dective would get a glance at him, and get a good look at the side of his face. Looks similar to the profile, although he has no glasses. Hmmmm. With that, he would move back to the bench he was at. Once Lawson goes back in, he wil be sure to report his findings. And then the real fun can begin. But first, he will pull out a datapad, a CorSec issued one, and pull up his profile.

The guy who opened the door to Spectra was, without a doubt, the picture of a nerd. Kind of guy that Parvis had made fun of in school and the kind of guy who likely only felt like a big man when there was the length and breadth of the holonet between you and him. But, he supposed, that was just the kind of guy that Spectre needed. He needed someone who was skilled as all hell and didn't have enough of a life to really have much to leave behind or to be used against him in the future as blackmail material or the like. It was simple mathematics as far as Parvis was concerned.

Letting the two get better acquainted was something he was fine with.

Something he was NOT fine with was the new arrival on the floor - someone who stuck out as a plant almost immediately in Parvis' mind. Whereas he was stood smoking in his suit, looking like a stressed out businessman enjoying some mild relief, this guy looked like he didn't belong here. Using that, Parvis wracked his brain to try and figure out why the guy seemed to trigger him, until he realised why he was suspicious.

The man looked like he didn't belong.

He had only appeared at just the right time.

This guy they were visiting was a known accomplice of Spectre.

Oh for the love of... the guy was a freaking cop! Parvis didn't spend a lot of time in systems that had legitimate police forces, normally because he was able to spend time in places where the police force was basically just an extension of the Hutt's influence in the area. Wandering over to the cop, Parvis grinned a little bit,

"Hey, I don't suppose you can get the result of the hutt-ball on that thing can you?" he asked with an affable smile, "I only ask because you've got your datapad out already and you don't seem to be doing much more than waiting... that cool? I've got some money on it is all."

And he needed an excuse to get close enough to the man to threaten him with his hidden blade.

When the door was opened, Spectre saw his old friend, whom he haven't seen in quite some time. Jerry Oliver hadn't changed at all, still at this lame apartment at this complex, just as he remembers. While for Lawson himself, he went to Nar Shaddaa, became a slicer for the Hutt Cartel, participated in numerous missions with the Cartel and other third parties. Imagine, if Lawson didn't leave Coronet City, and instead living a boring, mundane life just like Jerry is. Well, Jerry is probably content with it, but Lawson wouldn't be. Lawson was invited in, and he accepted the invitation walking in. "Ah Jerry, my old friend. It's a pleasure to see you" he would say in his normal formal tone of voice, accompanied by a smirk. "I've been fine. I left Coronet and settled in somewhere else."

He would look through Jerry's apartment. Messy. Carpet needs vacuumed, things need to be put away, there was rather fancy datapad lying on the couch like it was just randomly thrown there. He would grit his teeth as it offends his senses, but he knows better than to expect better. "You know, I'm just going to cut to the chase" he would remain standing, refraining from sitting anywhere, just taking a short walk before facing Jerry Oliver once again. "When I left this planet behind, I went hitched a ride to Nar Shaddaa to get away from here. There, I found myself putting my talents to use with the Hutt Cartel." he would then slowly pace a short distance as he continues "I've fired a blaster pistol more than couple times, I've broke people out of prisons, I've turned in two lightsabers for the Cartel bounty. And now I'm a Vigo with the Hutt Cartel. I could go on, but bottom line is, me getting off this planet set me free. Live has never been more interesting and exicitng" he would smile nodding in approval of his own words. "I need capable people for a project that's coming up. You are are a computer yourself. Come join me, could use you. I'm plan on procuring a freighter that will serve as a mobile base for hackers and codebreakers. Already got one from Canto Bight" Spectre would throw it all out there. He would stand in place, pausing for a few seconds to let all his words be processed. "So, what will it be? Could come with me, unless you have more exciting prospects ahead of you." he would raise a faint smile. Spectre thought his offer was laid out well, what could be more fun than traveling aboard a freighter across the galaxy to engage in things like illegal digital crime?

Arron Noble had the place bugged, and those bugs that were linked to an earpiece in his ear as he was sitting on the bench going through Lawson's profile. "Wow..." he was shocked as it came out that the guy not only linked with the Hutt Cartel... Who would have thought? Not only that, what he heard from the two marks that the guy is Jack Lawson with absolute certainty. Now all he has to to is report this to the authorities, he didn't even need to hear the part about him being a Vigo, he was preparing to pull out a communicator, reaching in a pocket in his trench coat. But then, a guy a suit approached him. Even if Arron Noble looked like he stood out like a sore thumb dressing like a detective. One suited male is who they are after, is with the Hutt Cartel. Then this guy talks about Hutt ball, that seems strange, and he seems suspicious as well. "Nope. Sorry" was what he responded with with a cold, stoic tone. If the pushed on, he had a pistol holstered on his sholder, and failing that he knows how to fight unarmed.

Jerry was excited to see his best friend again as he walked into his shabby apartment, after so long. He looks mostly the same as he did, but without the glasses. Does he wear contacts now? As he heard Lawson out, his expression of excitement slowly, but surely turned into disbelief as he heard the Cartel Vigo out. Jerry Oliver knows he turned into a criminal of sorts, but now he is a crimelord. "You're joking right?" he would would be chuckling, until it was apparent he wasn't joking. When Lawson gave out his offer, Jerry Oliver was slowly shaking his head while smiling. "Ummmmmm..." he didn't know how to respond. "I don't think I can..." he would calmly say. "I'm living here, I have a girl friend believe it or not. I'm about to graduate from University. I'm not sure I can do that" he would say in uncertainty.

Parvis was already getting alarm bells from this guy.

He looked like he was already growing suspicious of him and he didn't like that - he supposed that being in the same area as Spectre, suited like Spectre, probably raised a few alarm bells with the guy. Parvis couldn't exactly fault him for good detective work but that didn't mean that he was just going to let this go now did it? Oh no no - he didn't want to be the reason why Spectre's mission failed and he would be damned if he let this guy be the reason why he failed.

"Oh? My bad then I guess."

Speaking around the cigara in his mouth, Parvis took a puff of the thing once, to ignite the flames in the tip a little more, before spitting the thing out right at the man's eye to distract him and cause him to flinch. As he was doing that, he struck out with one hand to grab at the man's dominant hand so that he would be stopping him from reaching for anything on his person.

Parvis' other hand was the one with the hidden blade, which his flicked his wrist to extend before making a jab for the man's throat from the side - it would probably be bloody if it connected but he honestly didn't care. Blood he could work with. A fed calling in reinforcements? Not so much.

Although it would have been easier on him, he didn't expect his old friend to jump on board with his proposal instantly after laying it all out. After all, if someone came to Lawson's door while he was in the middle of... eating pizza while playing Space Grand Theft Auto and then suddenly a criminal who happens to be one of your better friends comes and asks if you want to join the Hutt Cartel with him, he wouldn't jump aboard without hesitation either. Things take time, and he just needed to allow him to sink. Although what puzzled Lawson more friend was the fact that Jerry has a girlfriend, he wouldn't visibly show he's perplexed by that but it's still odd. Jerry was the type who would try so hard to be a ladies person, but failing a lot of the time. But that's not important right now, what is important is getting what he came here for. Spectre has all the time in the world, or so he thinks. The fighting on the outside hasn't erupted fully yet, so he can't hear whats going on outside yet. When asked if he was joking, his expression would remain stern. Him being a Vigo is as real as it gets, as with everything else he said. It quickly downed on Jerry that is what happened and doesn't seem content abandoning his medicore life for something better. He just has to push harder.

"Are you sure?" he would aim to make Jerry second guess himself. "This is a paying job, and it compensates well. You'd travel all over the galaxy, you'd be putting your skills to very good use. If you want to be an underutilized spoke-in-the-wheel here, just another cog in the machine, you could do that. Or... will you come with me, where all the fun is going to be? You'd still be able to return here as you wish from time to time though. Think about it though. And think of all the information out in the galaxy, that could be ours, just ripe for the taking. We could be breaking into every network there is to break Think of the possibilities." He added to his previous statement, hoping that will change Jerry's mind as he would smile and nod in approval of his own words.

The Corellian detective, in addition to be suspicious of the suited man and on-edge, wasn't some rookie detective fresh out of police academy. He has been in life and death situations before. When the man spitted his cigara, Arron Noble moved his head slightly to the left, avoiding a burning cigerra in his eye, leaving to instead hit his skin, which is more preferable than having an eye out-of-commission. His right wrist was also grabbed as well, restricting that from moving, and making it more awkward to grab his pistol to defend himself. What he did not expect however, was the suited guy drawing out a concealed blade on his wrist. When he went to shank him in throat, it came to fast for him. He would be sprawled on the floor his front touching the floor, the datapad dropped as well, hitting the casing which held up, not breaking the datapad. With his left hand, he would touch his comlink, "Detective Noble down..., send.... back up..." he would say, with his voice clogged from the blood rushing from his throat, barely intelligible. That would be the last thing he would do before he passes. Barely intelligible as it is, CorSec would be mobilizing to his last known location, the building where Parvis and Spectre are at.

The datapad would still have Jack Lawson's dossier pulled up, compiled by CorSec. It would have information on him and if one were to scroll down, one would see that it says that CorSec had some of his friends's places bugged and communications tapped into. Even if the detective was slain before he could finish calling for back up, it's not safe where they are anymore, not even for Jerry.

Jerry Oliver was digesting more of what his friend says, his offer gets better and better as he spoke some more. It pays, can travel the galaxy, and the potential excitement it can bring as well. "Thats... really tempting" he gritted his teeth as he was still conflicted, but forcing a smile. "I'll have to think about it. I'm not one-hundred percent sure I could go through with it." he said, returning to a normal facial expresion. He was still hesitant. If he takes him up on his offer, then he would become a criminal with the Hutt Cartel. And although what he said does sound like fun, possibly getting caught or killed doesn't, and he could be safe here at home. This isn't a decision he can make lightly.

The detective was better than he had assumed.

That had best not become a pattern - he rather liked it when the law enforcement he faced were either incompetent, corrupt or a good measure of both. This guy? Well this guy was skilled enough that he actually put up a bit of a fight! And considering Parvis had attacked with a hidden weapon from a position of slight caution but not outright hostilities? Well, it said something about the content of the man's training that he was able to almost evade even the hidden blade.

In the end though, the man was sprawled on the floor bleeding heavily from the cut to the throat. As he garbled out his message, Parvis cursed quietly even as he grabbed out of the man's hand from above, held it steady, and rammed his hidden blade cleanly into the man's temple to make sure he was dead. Once he was certain that the detective was dead, he grabbed up the datapad, scrolling slightly before scowling.

His arm was also rather bloody from the stabbing but that was just something he was going to need to move on with. Sighing, he marched over to the door of the apartment. He knocked on it sharply,

"Lawson!" he called out to Spectre, not sure if he was supposed to use his code-name right now, "Lawson we've got a problem!"

Once the door was open he would thrust the datapad into the hands of Spectre as he drew his pistol,

"Explain it to the other guy." he requested as he moved back out into the corridor, "I'm going to keep the entrances covered - they will be coming."

With his pulse wave pistol out, Parvis would take up position at the top of the stairwell, able to fire down at anyone approaching via the stairs but also able to lean around the wall for cover should they come through the lift.

Just as Jerry finished speaking, Spectre heard his real name through door as he knocked on it with a purpose. Spectre was quick to respond, it sounded urgent. Once the door was openned, he could see that Parvis had blood on him, Spectre was grittng his teeth as he saw that, and was given a datapad that appears to be property of CorSec. The wheels are always in motion and it didn't take too long to the dots to be connected. The dead body Spectre can see out the door must be a CorSec detective. And reading where the Parvis left on the datapad, it appears the whole apartment had been bugged. "Well..." Spectre would look at Jerry with a disappointed look. Spectre shouldn't be surprised by this, nothing much they can do it about it at this point though, the important thing is to get off this planet with the prize at this point. "Looks like this whole apartment has been bugged and your communications tapped into. I don't think you will want to stay here anymore " The Cartel Vigo stoically said to his old friend. Jerry would be just distraught over this new development. Even if doesn't go along with Lawson, he has still been mixed up in all this, has CorSec monitoring him, and no doubt CorSec will be wanting him after coming in contact with him, and it quickly dawned on Jerry. Spectre would then draw out his blaster pistol, which was on a holster underneath his left shoulder. "Come on if you want out of here" A defeated Jerry would reluctantly follow. Spectre would then go to Parvis' position "Alright, we need to find a way out of here" Spectre would suggest, as he glances in different directions. No doubt CorSec is coming, but hunkering down would be a bad idea if it's just the two of them against a police force. CorSec is coming, but even they can't mount a significant response instantaneously. The three are are on the third floor, escape could be possible through a window, thinking outside the box. Landing would be rough, but it's a quick way out. Spectre would be leaning towards that option for a quick get away as he gazes through the still-open door at the windows on the farrest end of the shabby apartment.

Spectre seemed to have been able to get the guy to move again and that was good - it meant that he wasn't going to have to try and walk out of here under fire with some slicer flung over his shoulder. Hell, he would if that was what Spectre required of him but he would really prefer not to end up doing that, if only because it would put the target in danger and that was literally the furtherest thing from what he wanted right now.

There was blood ruining his suit right now and he would be damned if he was going to let it be ruined for a mission that hadn't even gone right!

"There's the main stairwell, fire escape on one side of the building down to an alley and the lift." he rattled off the exits that he had spotted around them, "Lift is out as they might try and cut the power. Main stairwell is an option but it's obvious and we might run into heavy resistance. Fire escapes?"

He shrugged once,

"Good exit to the ground floor as it leads to the back alley. Negative points include the alarm that will sound and give away out exact position." he reasoned quickly before he turned to Spectre and noticed him looking rather significantly at one of the windows, "Really?"

Sighing a little bit, he nodded a little bit as he looked at the window,

"Could work." he allowed easily before holstering his gun again, "Follow me down if it does."

Taking a deep breath, Parvis strode on over to the window Spectre had been eying up. Rather than jumping straight through it like they did in the holos, he opened the window entirely, giving himself enough room to grab the edge of the window and dangle himself outside, along the edge of the building. This meant that when he dropped down, staggering slightly, it was actually roughly 6 foot less distance he had to fall.

Muttering some choice words about the landing, he waved Spectre and his friend down, drawing his gun again to give them cover should they need it.

Parvis was quick on his feet, but they seem to be in agreement that out the window is the easiest and simplest solution to get out of here. Parvis dropped down, and Spectre really wasn't inclined to be waiting around though. Time is precious after all. "I'm right behind you" Spectre said as he assured Parvis that he would be fine, he was on the third floor, so landing shouldn't be too much of an issue. Not Spectre's first rodeo doing this. He would fall down right after Parvis' feet would touch the ground, because it's a one person down at time kinda thing from just a window. After landing Jerry would still be behind the window, suffice it to say he is scared and uncertain as he is fleeing. He is still not one-hundred percent sure what is going on, but from what he knows, his place has been bugged and he is now a part of all of this whether he-asked for it or not. "It's alright, jump down and we can get out of here" the Cartel Vigo sternly said. Hesitating "We've got to go" he Jerry then started to jump down in the same manner as both Lawson and Parvis did as Spectre insisted he be timely. Spectre had his arms out and he figured he would help cushion his landing. Although Spectre isn't the most built guy in the world, Jerry is pretty small and light, but at least Jerry would land safety.

Once they are all firmly on the ground and everyone is ready to go, Spectre would then signal to everyone else "Alright, lets high tail it and find a place to lie low until the heat dies down, we can still escape, alright?" he said. He would wait for Parvis to confirm to make sure they are on the same page for course of action. Even though there are still civilians at ground level, jumping down a window seems a bit odd to them but they would have to be able to see the dead body upstairs to connect it to anything downright suspicious.

Spectre was quick behind him and that was appreciated – Parvis was certain that the faster they got away from the scene of the crime the better. He hadn’t really spent a lot of time running from Cops since Nar Shaddaa didn’t have any, but he knew well enough that you didn’t get long to ponder when you were evading pursuit by the friends of a guy you had just killed… and he certainly had killed that detective with gusto.

He glanced at the little show of Spectre and Jerry – it looked rather amusing to him to see someone like Spectre needing to be the big, strong, guy and catch someone else. When compared to Jerry however, it was very easy to see that Spectre was the better suited to the role than Jerry was by far and it didn’t actually end in tears.

Honestly, he had expected Jerry to start crying.

“Agreed.” He declared with a nod, stripping out of his suit jacket before throwing it into a nearby dumpster, leaving himself unarmoured but, most importantly, without any visible blood on his, “Let’s move.”

Moving onto the main road, Parvis made sure to stash his gun before flagging down a passing taxi. The driver might look at them a little strangely but he wisely said nothing when Parvis gave him directions to a local Cartel safehouse he knew about and paid in full before they even began moving.

Probably the best outcome they could have expected… though he would be billing Spectre for the armour suit jacket.
