Hey all,
Some of you may have questions after reading the state funeral thread, in which Charon has stepped down from her role as Chancellor or the Republic.
These next three weeks are going to be exceedingly busy for me, and the summer is going to continue on that trend as I work to save up money for school next year. Though I have tried to maintain relative activity as an AFL since I accepted the position when the timeline started, I want to make sure I am doing what's right for me as I move into this next phase of the year.
My activity, as far as administration, motions, voting, etc. would only wane as I continue on toward the end of this school year, and with the revamp TAC has promised come his return in a few short days, I thought it would be a good idea to nip this in the bud before it became a potential problem.
I liked having a Chancellor, it was fun, but it also kept me from enjoying some aspects of the senate that I would still like to take part in as time goes on. Being able to vote, take part in the drama in the chambers, being a part of hearings, and all of those other bits are important to what I originally wanted to do with Charon, so it is about time I do those things.
It's no secret the site is slowing down a tad bit, considering most people who are still receiving an education are finishing up their school years around this point. For that reason, and considering TAC is still focused on his events per his announcement, I will stay on as AFL until things are sorted out and the process to find an acting Chancellor is started. (Unless I am asked to stay on in a more administrative fashion, which might be an option if the Leadership is in sore need of it)
I will be tying up vote threads, and other threads Charon is still Chancellor in, in the mean time. If people want a vote before a new Chancellor is decided, I can still create an opening post with some interim nobody.
-Lots of love,
Beta
