It would take a lot of work and time to get the base in tip top shape but for now it would suffice. Hauron took his attention away from the outpost and examined the discovered vambraces. As somone raised by an armorer Hauron had picked up a thing or two. His knowledge of working the metal and requirements of more delicate components were available to him however his skill was not yet equal to that of a true armorer.

After giving it some thought and turning the bracers over he finally answered. <"With time and practice I may be able to. But..."> He paused before giving Rath the bad news. Haurons tone became more confident and passionate with each moment. <"...I'm not skilled enough, yet. I may know of an armorer." He actually had several in mind. It was just a matter of them being willing or available to mentor him . <"Yes. I think we should be able to replicate this design with some testing. Maybe we can even improve it."> His gaze finally lifted from the armor pieces to look at Rath. The badger did not want to destroy the artifact in the process of reverse engineering. But even with the skill to produce it the true beskar vambraces would be a rare sight among any mandalorian.

With the numerous bodies laying around there was an excess of armor. It had gone without use for ages but now it would be returned to their people. Huaron already knew that he would use the beskar to hone his skill. Furthermore it would be put to use for foundlings, the next generation of mandalorians.

<"Let's take your ship."> The rally master's ship would be locked down by the onboard droid and keep it safe. The time would eventually come for him to share the Outpost's location with the rest of their people but now they were still exploring. He did not want to broadcast their location either and risk attracting unwanted attention.

Rath listened as Hauron began passionately explaining the possibility of forging more vambraces. After he handed back the vambraces Rath looked them over, <"It feels odd having a piece of another clans history. Is Skirata around anymore?"> Though the find was a good one he didn't mind returning them to the proper clan for a replacement pair, or the beskar to forge one. <"If not I may reforge these into an heirloom when I form a clan.">

He nodded as Hauron voiced choosing his ship. As they went back out to the courtyard he scanned the area with his repeater in case a creature had moved in. Luckily nothing had so once Hauron was done locking down his ship he opened up his ship. The first noticeable thing to Hauron in the ships hold would be an egg strapped into a seat and covered with a blanket. <"Hey sit by the egg I want to send a picture to someone."> If he sat by the egg he would take a picture of Hauron and the egg. He sent it to Kate (@LadyRen) with the message, Egg has a Mandalorian guard now.

He walked into the cockpit and began manually punching everything into his navcomputer. Before long they were taking off and heading to the coordinates of the outpost. After a few minutes of flying they reached the outpost. Rath landed the ship in a nearby clearing just outside. This time he opted for his E-11d as his main weapon. <"Let's see how this outpost looks.">

Hauron could respect Rath if he wanted to return them to clan Skirata. He also would not judge him for holding onto them and putting them to use for himself. <"I know of a few Skiratas."> He nodded as he replied. Atuu was one that came to mind and was the most amicable member he had met in recent memory. He was the leader of the Endless Watch. There were likely a few Skirata clan members on Mandalore and scattered about. Many of them had rallied to the now disgraced Srucayr. Unlike many others, Srucayr had yet to find redemption and many believed him to be dead.

<"I won't judge you for keeping them. I think you would make good use of them and as long as they are worn by a mandalorian they can do their previous owner's proud."> There was no way of knowing if their ancestors would approve but the rally master said it none-the-less.

Before they left, Hauron grabbed his customized Westar-17 blaster carbine with its numerous attachments. It was slung over one shoulder alongside his jetpack where it would stay until he needed to use it. The Solus grabbed a spare munition cartridge for his pistols but other than was ready and equipped for exploring the next outpost.

Even with the base secured the two mandalorians were careful as they exited the base. Hauron walked aboard the justifier class ship. He paused a moment as he caught sight of a giant egg and was about to ask about it when Rath told him to get a picture with it. It was probably the drexl egg he had mentioned before and holy nerf it was huge. It was one thing to read about the dimmensions on a data-pad but it was another to see it in person. <"Sure haha."> It was clear he had a big grin on under his helmet. <"Should I do a pose?"> He asked as he got close to the egg for a capture that was both equal parts cute as it was funny. <"Who are you sending it to?"> He probably should have asked earlier but it was too late.

After the ship touched down, Hauron took point with his rifle shouldered and at the ready. But the recon base was seemingly abandoned. What's more, there was still the tell-tale sign of power still working throughout the recon outpost. The more the two warriors explored the recon outpost the more they would discover a borderline pristine fortification. It was going to be even easier getting this in working order compared to the larger base they had just left.

Without any lurking dangers inside the outpost the duo had free reign of the place. No traps were triggered and non-remained dormant to later harm them. Hauron would head towards the server rooms and examine the outdated systems. They likely had intelligence on the surrounding area along with other valuable information. Unlike the previous base there had been no mighty last stand but there was however an armory with archaic but operational weaponry and ordnance.

<"Let's rest here and take stock before moving on.">

End thread

Rolled for dangers in the outpost
97/100 rousing success
