The ex-Senator of Alderaan and now Junior Moff for the Sith Empire now finds himself on Onderon. He has never been here before, so this would be his first time. He had arrived to the estate of House Vaermina, a prominent family within the Kingdom that has connections in the arms manufacturing business on Onderon. He took some time to study some of Onderon's culture during the shuttle ride to this planet. The Onderonians are really against anything that uses the Force, which is understandable. But Serenno was the same way more or less, and even they joined the Sith Empire. And as of recently, a pair of Sith have turned in a Beast Rider and former captain with the Onderonian Army to the Kingdom, so that he may be trialed and executed (if they have the death penalty here). So they already have a good start with forming ties with the Kingdom with the Sith Empire, although there is still a good ways to go.

This is Dwight's task, he wouldn't have anyone else accompanying him for this. Not long after Dwight's shuttle lands at a landing pad at the estate, Dwight would step off and be ushered through the Vaermina security for this arranged meeting. The estate was out in the Onderonian country side, not too far from the capital city of Iziz. The place looks quite good, not to shabby.

As a noble himself hailling from another Kingdom, the Junior Moff would already have a little bit in common with these other Onderonian nobles. Sure he has nothing to do with Alderaan anymore since it's gone to shit with a civil war, but it's the blood the counts right? He will see how this goes. He's ready, he is wearing a fine grey suit, is confident. He is all good to go.

House Vaermina. A prestigious name, one known throughout the entire land; theirs was a legacy built to last, one that had already extended over countless generations. Their foundation was solid, as was their prospects for the future. This was a family that wanted for naught; political investments, strategic marriages, all had been done with one conjoined goal in mind: preservation. Heirs of the family named were raised in conformance to this one, singular virtue. Everything else was a secondary consideration. Indeed, perhaps it was a trivial notion, an archaic concept, but it had served the family well. Other noble houses have risen over time, only to fall soon after. Yet House Vaermina remains.

A service droid, utterly polished and pristine, ushered Dwight along the estate. It would appear to be taking him the scenic route, through the well pruned gardens and orchards. This was not coincidental however. The stroll afforded an ulterior motive; it was an act of peacocking, per say, the display of status and wealth. Such opportunities were never to be missed, especially when a point could be made to the visiting party. For one such as Dwight, the message was clear; he was on Onderon soil, both literally and figuratively. Noble pedigree or not, the young Moff was an outsider and he would plainly be considered as such until decided otherwise. He would do well to remember that, especially when exercising his position in negotiations.

At least the weather was brisk, unpleasant for a stroll. Clouds lazily lingered in the otherwise placid blue skies; one could see why nobles retreated to these grand locations. They offered a peaceful serenity to their lives, even when shouldering the burdens of duty.

Finally, Dwight would be welcomed within the compound's inner walls; the private chambers were pleasant enough, moderate in a adornment. The sigil of the house was evident on wall banners, as were various works of art. Again, all subtle symbols. As was the patriarch's untimely arrival. Lord Percival Vaermina. A stout man, one aged with experience; whilst his rather ruddy expression appeared lax with contention, his eyes were beady and sharp. A trait he had passed onto his heir and eldest son, Urien. He too was in attendance, no doubt there to observe and learn the proverbial trade of his father.

"Announcing, announcing," the service droid chimed, "Announcing arrival: Lord Vaermina and son in attendance."

With a dismissive wave, the bot fell silent, obediently obeying its innate programming; whilst the two nobles greeted Dwight with customary courteous, the younger and lesser Urien gestured at the awaiting table. "Please. Do us the great honour and make yourself comfortable. Perhaps you would agree to some refreshments?"

And so it begins.

As he was so kindly chaperoned through the estate halls by the shiny service droid, he would be gazing at the environment around him. Dwight Antilles has been in different palaces on Alderaan, but the Onderonian style is eye-pleasing in it's own right. Even with the scenic route (as nice as it is), he knew that every step he was taking he was getting closer and closer to meeting with the prominent Onderonian Nobles. And as he drawed close towards the doors before the private chambers where the meeting would take place, he would take a deep breath. The Junior Moff is prepared here. Onderonian nobles tend to be traditional, and he is expecting not the warmest of welcomes because of who he is affiliated with.

With Dwight firmly in the chambers and the two nobles greeted him when they arrived. He would smile when spoken to and would respectfully bow towards the two after the initial greeting. Normally Dwight would extend his hand for a handshake his normal casual and relaxed mannerisms first thing. He is a more casual, laid back person. But he opted not to today. While it might be fair enough with his various colleagues, employers, and on his former Alderaanian countrymen; will probably not work here. Instead he's going for more formal and more noble like. Even as a trouble-maker among his noble family, he still remembers the lessons in etiquette.

After bowing, he would then respond. "Thank you, thank you two for the welcome" he would his head "Sure, refreshments sound great." he would keep his smile as he would nod his head and while moving to take a seat at the table he was gestured at. Dwight would love to skip past all these pleasantries and go straight to business, but it can't be helped here he supposes. He would just have to play along with this. So far so good he thinks.
