Junkyards of Ord Mantell
Bright Jewel Sector, Bright Jewel System
Nearly a Decade before the Dawn of the Republic

"Jump!"

The elder of the two young men shouted to his younger sibling before making the all too familiar leap from the hover train. It had been all about timing, the seventeenth turn upon crossing into sector 9 of the junkyard wastes; when the train moved slowest. His flesh met the firm ground before twisting into a roll; one that resulted in him sitting on his backside and staring at the thruster's to a long forgotten Corellian Class frigate. Before he could get to his feet he could hear the wind of his brother get gasp from his chest as he too hit the dirt only a few feet from him before a mixture of coughs and laughter escaped both their lips.

"That never gets easier..."

The younger boy turned to look at the elder as the fun in the jump finally subsided and the pain of impacting earth started to settle in. Nodding his head the elder agreed with his younger brother's statement; he couldn't have been more right as the thought had procured itself in his own mind before making the jump and was finally itself leaving his mind as he started to get to his feet. Looking from left to right his hand raised before a finger pointed at their satchel's which had this time stopped next to a broken down landspeeder. Making his way towards the brown bags he'd look over his shoulder his eyes taking in the sight that was a spitting image of himself only a few years younger and eyes that carried the jade green their mother once adorned.

"We have two hours and seventeen minutes; but you know that. That's see what we can find."

The boy was already setting the timer on his wrist attachment as he also made his way towards their 'luggage.' Upon picking it up he quickly sifted through the bag to make sure everything was there: a light packing of supply, a roughly sketched map, along with a few other personal items. Once he got the all clear his eyes fixated on the taller of the two, his own green eyes staring into the blue orbs of his mentor.

"I think I can beat you onto the train this time."

"Oh, you think so?" The elder said with a smirk while stretching himself out some. His ligaments and back letting out a few cracks and pops; but nothing out of the norm.

"Well.. maybe, I've been practicing!"

The two started in the direction of the northeast side by side to one another. The younger looked to be no more than 13 years old whereas the older of the two couldn't be more than 17 each step they took seemed to carry with it another conversation piece or comment on something they recognized or had salvaged in the past. It wasn't until they came upon a Kuat System's starfighter that the two stopped and looked from it to each other. Nodding to each other the younger took off in the direction to the East of the fighter, where a very large pile of scrap had accumulated. The elder made his way towards the ship directly.

"Dav! Make sure you keep an eye out, I don't want this to go like last time." The senior belt out to his brother.

"Shut-up!" The boy shouted back. "I'll do my job, you worry about yours, Zekk."

Taking a seat within the cockpit of the starfighter Zekk quickly went to work, his hands digging through the satchel before pulling out a multi-tool. Giving the panel a quick glance he opened the tool and began the process of taking it apart. After taking in a deep breath his eyes narrowed and he began working the puzzle with any luck he'd find something of value..

It was not an assignment Kwanli had been looking forward to at first. In the last two centuries he had seen more combat than most who were still alive, and he remembered the causes of some of the junkyards throughout the Galaxy. The Bright Jewel System was up on his list of junkyards to visit and was one he had been to previously. His mission was fairly simple; comb the junkyards of the galaxy for salvageable equipment. Technology had become a somewhat rare commodity in the rim worlds where many Jedi had begun to call home. Whatever they could scrap from the old battles was useful. Not a glorious job, but a necessary one that was hard to give to Padawans.

I feel good about this one. There must be something down there.

The small freighter the Order had commissioned for him landed quietly at the outskirts of one of the junk sectors. He didn't need unwanted attention from anyone, not even the Republic. It was best if he could get in and out quickly. So far it seemed he was successful. As he exited the ship he pulled a hood over the top of his head and proceeded into the chaos of twisted metal. Much had already been combed by locals and smugglers alike. It would take a careful eye and focus to find something of real value. At this point, even a communications device or working power core was enough to be considered a good find.

Three fighters were jutting out of a pile of junk as if they had crashed there and not moved since the battle. Kwanli the Wookiee climbed the metal gracefully and reached the first. Most smugglers couldn't climb or jump like a Jedi, so he had a few advantages for these working for him. A quick glances around revealed he was still alone before he ignited his green blade. Sparks flew as he made an opening in the hull. Payload. The cockpit was trashed but the communications array had survived well enough to be salvaged. No one had bothered trying to get inside the sealed ship.

"First ship, success," he growled quietly to himself. "At this rate, I can go home after this trip."

THUD

Dust erupted from the ground as the large Wookiee Jedi landed back on solid ground. He took note that the other two fighters were split open either from combat or scavengers already. Not worth inspection. Kwanli adjusted his robes and beat the dust out of them before moving forward to find another promising pile of junk. The weapon hilt returned to his waist at the low point of the bandolier he wore underneath his outer robe. It seemed the yards were empty in his sector so far. No need to have his weapon out constantly.

Zekk's hydrospanner was working both quickly and effectively on the many panels of the starfighter. Removing the final screw the dash of the cockpit popped up signifying it was loose at long last. Giving the metal a hard pull it popped off and he tossed it out of the craft it clanging down the side of the junk heap before smacking the ground with a much softer thud the young man's eyes widening at the array of materials that were nestled underneath the out coating. If it wasn't for his jaw dropping he would have let out a whistle but instead his hands formed fists before pumping wildly into the air.

"JACKPOT!!!"

Meanwhile Dav sad on an old satellite array from a frigate, his mangled clothes blending in with the beating the former communications device had taken as his eyes scanned the horizon. His eyes would go across an opening in the junk, some might call it a path but to say that they existed in this sector would be more than a stretch; the world otherwise would be deemed barren. Hearing the exclamation of his brother he could feel the pulse in his chest grow, and he couldn't help but look in the fighter's direction. Calling back to his Zekk it was his curiosity more than anything else that had his heart pounding.

"What?! What did you find?"

His mind was racing as he could see his brother finding some rare component or maybe even a blaster. As his thoughts wandered he began to imagine a astromech droid somehow being left behind and a smile grew across his young face. It was then his stomach growled and he'd look down only to realize that if they did indeed score big they might actually be eating well for once in a long time. As the grumbles faded his eyes looked up only to observe that 'pathway' once more. What had been barren now had a landspeeder blocking the route and his excitement went from happiness to worry as he lowered against the dish. Sliding against the metal he'd spring off before the arc came to an end his feet coming in contact with a damaged moisture vaporizer which sprang him out once again; this time to the basin below. His feet would carry his 5'4" frame towards his brother.

Zekk's hands were busy working over the countless materials as he yanked out the starship's servo remote and slid it into the pack at his side. Behind the device was an object unlike anything he'd ever seen in his time scavenging. Reaching towards the object he could even now feel an energy radiating from it, again unlike anything he felt up to that point. Running his hands over the pyramid shaped device he couldn't help but close his eyes and take in the feeling in that instant for what it was worth.

"THERE'S SOMEONE HERE!"

Dav's head popped into the starship as suddenly as his voice creeped in. He was whispering as loud as he could, but it might as well have been a shout given the reaction by Zekk. The 5'8" frame of the teen jolted at his voice as his body carried upward, the top of his head bashing hard against the viewport canopy.

"AGGgggh.."

"Shhh! I'm sorry!"

The brother shouted back his apology before covering his mouth and removing his head from the fighter. Looking left and right he popped back in as the coast was clear. He motioned for Zekk to get out so they could get on his way but the elder's eyes went back to the object and quickly plunged it into the pack. Scanning over the rest of the components there was a lot they would leave behind and he couldn't help but sit in the seat longer than Dav preferred.

"C'mon!"

"...I heard something. Over there." Just as Dav's voice rang out, so did another; a foreign one.

"[Huttese.]" A second voice seemed to respond. It was quiet at first before getting louder.

"Yes I'm sure." The voice responded this time coming across much more clearly. It was a deeper voice of a middle aged man, the evidence in the raspy sound that escaped his lips.

Zekk's eyes widened as he began the scramble to exit the fighter. Just as his brother had sprung from the dish so would he from the cockpit. As his feet hit the ground he heard the first man's voice scream out at him; but it wouldn't stop his feet from moving away from their direction.

"HEY! STOP!"

Collecting in tranquility was seeming less possible for the Wookiee Jedi as he both heard and sensed a commotion in the distance. It was likely nothing that would affect him, but his curiosity always got the better of him in these places. Junkers fighting over a good part? He might win in the end of that fight. In truth he didn't know what to expect, but it was better than digging around for lost treasure. There would always be time to dig later.

I sense something interesting, or perhaps I am simply bored..

Kwanli often teased himself as he knew at times his emotions clouded his senses. It was a trap to which no one was completely immune. He felt whatever was going on could use his presence, so he began an even pace towards it. He did not run, but instead walked calmly as to not raise alarms to his approach. In the distance he could see a parked speeder between a couple of large piles. That had to be it. A wooden hilt glided silently through the air as the Wookiee summoned it to his hand. The curved hilt rested comfortably in his palm, but remained deactivated for the moment. For the sake of subtle approach he took his time, and was still out of eyesight by the time he heard more noises coming from beyond the metallic hillsides. He was close, but it wasn't time to involve himself just yet.

Zekk could hear the patter of Dav's feet out in front of him. The smaller of the two was almost 10 yards in front of him as they approached a wall of scrap. He could see a parting to the left but to his surprise the younger one broke towards their right. Nodding at the idea he couldn't help but feel that splitting up would increase their chances of escape; but, leaving his only friend and blood behind was something he didn't feel was right. Allowing his gut instinct to win this time his own feet carried him left; splitting off.

The wall rose up on either side of him now and the metal twisted and turned in no specific direction. Before he knew it he was in a maze created by the junkyard; the walls standing almost a full foot above his head. Slowing his pace his back pressed against the scrap and he listened for any noise from where he had come. All that filled the air was silence and the occasional sound of metal swaying against the natural winds of the planet. Then the echoing sound he anticipated finally came to light; only it wasn't behind him it was in front of him. Pulling out the hydrospanner his hand would rise above his own head as he began to match the sound. Moving around the corner he prepared to bring down the metal "wrench" but instead was met by a familair; Dav.

"DON'T!!"

The boy quickly covered his mouth as his brother's voice "shh'd" him. The sound that came from the younger one's direction was all the needed to head back where Zekk had come from.

"They're over here!"

Turning on his heels Zekk would begin the charge out from where they had come. It was then he heard the scariest sound that his ears had ever taken in; a blaster bolt. It was frightening enough that it stopped him in his tracks if only for a moment. The reverberations that followed were just as chilling. The bolt found a way to 'bounce' off the scrap around them before lifting off towards the sky and to wherever the bolt would go. Picking up his feet he turned the corner to hear another scream from Dav; this one more urgent.

"Let go! Let go of me!!"

The boy was in the clutches of a Trandoshan that had a firm reptilian grip on the adolescent. The cackle that escaped his lips was more terrifying than the blaster bolt had been and all Zekk could do was stare forward at the two as the footsteps from his rear drew closer; not before a blaster was pushed into the center of the young man's back.

"Now why'd you have to make me run, boy?"

Ahead there was more commotion and emotions in the air. Kwanli decided to pick up the pace a bit to get closer as he started to hear some shouts. He began jogging lightly towards the scene until he heard a blaster bolt. He sprinted to see what was happening. A cloud of dust was kicked up by a scuffle up ahead as he turned a corner, making him stop dead in his tracks to avoid attracting attention himself. From his point of view he could see a Trandoshan, a Twi'lek, and two Humans in the midst of a struggle. It seemed the extremely young humans had been caught stealing from the Toydarian and what might have been his servant. The Wookiee had a hard time not being bias against the Trandoshan in favor of the two young humans, but he knew better than to assume.

T'dosk scum. I hope he isn't the one I need to help.

It seemed the boys were now held at blaster point, the losers of whatever had transpired. Kwanli had seen this type of thing before in his travels. Young thieves caught by rougher beings and killed for their crimes of survival. It was sad to see but it wasn't his problem. He too had to collect, he too had his own agenda, and he was not an authority on this planet. Yet for some reason he felt the urge to help. It was the right thing to do whether it was convenient or not. The Wookiee gripped his lightsaber hilt tightly as he stepped forward with confident strides towards the scene.

The Jedi remained silent vocally as he approached, but made no attempts to quiet his steps. He would gladly be spotted and defend himself if needed. The first one to spot him was likely the boy being held by the lizard, though it didn't take long for the others to take notice as well of the large being approaching. Kwanli looked between everyone for a moment before anything was said or blasters changed aim. How they reacted would help him judge this situation. As far as they could tell, he was an unarmed Wookiee doing the same thing they were. Only one piece of that would be untrue. He was armed and ready to fight.

"What do you want, carpet?"

A roar that meant nothing more than a mild warning came from Kwanli in response. It was hard to misunderstand that even with a language barrier. If anything, he was glad the Trandoshan didn't seem in charge. Nothing was worse than a Doshan with an attitude; to a wookiee at least.

"This is none of your business. Leave while you still can."

The Twi'lek shoved the boy he had trapped with his pistol, hoping to drop him to the floor as he pointed his pistol at the Wookiee. In return, Kwanli ignited his lightsaber allowing the glowing green blade to extend in front of him. His grip on the hilt was loose, controlled, and ready to deflect anything. There would be no intimidation for him. It was obvious who the bullies were now. They would either make a poor choice or they would leave. Kwanli had grown frustrated enough with his recent tasks that despite his training he still hoped they would make a poor choice.

Dav continued squirming within the lizard's arms even while the Twi'lek spoke to his brother. It wasn't until the lizard gave a hard squeeze that brought pain on the youngster that he stopped. His lungs pushing out an audible wail of pain, but only for a moment. It was in that moment Dav gave a look to Zekk; both of their eyes exchanging the fear they held deep in the pits of their stomach's but no words needed to be exchanged.

"What do you want, carpet?"

The Twi'lek speaking to a foreigner would catch both brother's attentions as well. They would see a rather tall beast of a figure standing before them. The sight and size alone of the creature caused Zekk to swallow the frog that had formed in his throat. If these two men didn't kill them, this behemoth certainly would. It was the first time he'd ever set sight on a Wookiee and in truth he had no idea what it even was. The roar Kwanli let out was enough to buckle the teen's knees and it was followed by a hard hit to his back from the Twi'leks pistol butt which sent him forward in a heap. Shaking before he ever hit the ground his hands felt blindly for a hold to push off from but the fear that blanketed him was more than most could stomach. Dav on the other hand let out a scream of fear at the Wookiee's own cry. That scream would result in the Trandoshan gripping tighter yet again. His cries for help being met with reptilian strength drowned the noise it should have made yet again; his voice cracking under the hold.

"This is none of your business. Leave while you still can."

The Twi'lek speaking caused Zekk to look at the man; if anything this meant the 'carpet' was sentient. A look of bewilderment would glaze over his face upon hearing the hiss of a lightsaber. A sight his attention was immediately drawn to. His blue eyes reflected the green beam of energy as he finally managed to push to his feet. He'd heard of a lightsaber in light conversation, but they were only wielded by Jedi. Looking the beast up and down he again swallowed the ball which formed within his trachea. Perhaps this was why the Jedi were notorious for being so fierce; they were giants wielding laser swords they themselves looking able to rip a man in two.

The Twi'lek knowing just what the Wookiee was he sidestepped to his left, next to the Trandoshan who still maintained a hold on the pale child. His own blaster again pressed into Zekk's back his arm wrapping around the teen's throat and holding him in place as he did so; using him as a shield. His black eyes would dart from the green beam to his green friend as the Trandoshan yelled at him in his native tongue.

"[Trandoshan] We use them to get out of here. I will not fight a Jedi! [Trandoshan]"

"You'll do as you're told! I didn't pay you to cower out now. Leave and Roorba will know about this!"

Bringing his gaze back to the Wookiee his eyes narrowed. His finger pressuring the weapon's trigger pointed in the young man's back.

"I won't ask again. Leave us or they die!"

With a nod of his head the Trandoshan's arms moved from the boy's chest to his throat before applying pressure. Dav's face going from a pale to a light blue in mere seconds. The Wookiee had a choice to make in that moment leave and seal their fate to whatever these men had in store for them from there or sacrifice one for the other.

((I changed the speaking color from your part of yellow to orange as the Twi'lek was speaking that color. The Trandoshan doesn't know how to speak basic and I had him in yellow. If you just wish to react/make your decision I'll write up the consequence(s) from there. If your character doesn't know Trandoshan then you wouldn't know what he said to the Twi'lek I'll note.))

Tensions had quickly escalated and had become a hostage situation. It had never been his intention to cause a bigger mess, but it was too late to back down now. It wasn't like Kwanli knew the boys or had much of a tie to them. Still, as a Jedi he felt somewhat responsible for saving the boys from trouble whether or not they started it. No one deserved death in a junkyard. Unless they made a poor choice when threatened with a Lightsaber. The Wookiee watched the Trandoshan and Twi'Lek closely as they positioned themselves to kill the boys if necessary.

I can stop one of them, and then the other. But am I fast enough to get both?

His thoughts tugged at the back of the Wookiee's mind as he raised his left arm in the air. The lightsaber remained still in his right hand while the left reached for the Twi'lek. He was in charge. Disposing of him quickly may unnerve the servant lizard. There was no way to be certain still, but this was not the time for hesitation. Kwanli was a warrior, not a diplomat. The force flowed through him as he focused on the Twi'lek and his pistol. In a split second, which had felt like ages to a focused Jedi, he froze the Twi'lek and snapped his arm to his side. This eliminated the immediate danger of the blaster.

Fear seemed to become a permanent expression for the Twi'lek as his body froze and became unresponsive. Jedi were well known for deflecting blaster shots, cutting people in half, and pushing people away with the force, but their full powers were often underestimated or misunderstood. Obviously this being had little experience with the force as he stood in disbelief. On the other hand, the Trandoshan still had freedom for the moment. There were only seconds to make the next decision for both himself and the lizard.

"Give up and let them go, or you both die now," he growled aggressively towards the trandoshan thug.

Whether or not the Junker understood him did not matter. Either way it seemed the Lizard was intent on making a poor choice as his gut reaction. Rather than killing the boy, surrendering, or running, he decided to fire two shots at the Wookiee Jedi who had his lightsaber drawn. With ease Kwanli pushed the blade into the bolts and returned them to sender. Flesh sizzled as the injured Trandoshan hit the dust. He likely would slowly die without aid.

A slow death is the least you deserve.

Kwanli began a slow approach towards the Twi'lek to finish this scuffle. He would likely strand the scum somewhere uncomfortable as punishment or scare him away. An amusing and dangerous thought entertained him as he hoped the criminal would struggle once he was released from his force bindings. He stole a glance towards the now semi-free boy who laid next to the injured lizard. His safety was secondary to the thrill of the battle. He knew that was wrong, but he had been holed up without combat for too many years. All he knew was war. He missed it, in a way. More than he should as a peacekeeper of old. These young boys likely thought him a monster so far based on the fear in their eyes. As long as they both survived it might be a fruitful conversation once he disposed of the scum junkers. He projected his thoughts around him as speech to bypass any potential language barriers.

I release you. Flee now or be struck down.

((My hope here was to have him struggle, fire a shot as I cut him down, and have one of you be fatally injured. Wanted to push it out for one conversation post before someone died in the other's arms. @Rev ))

Zekk had no idea what the Jedi was up to only that the creature screamed in a foreign tongue at the two attackers. Time was rushing around the teenager and as quickly as the lightsaber hissed to life so did the images of his bleak life flashed before his eyes. They would both force themselves shut as he remembered being on Ord Mantell when his parents were 'taken' from him and his brother. They were both left behind and forced to fight for themselves from that point on. Most of their belongings at one point were the possessions of their parents. Many of the images were that of his younger brother and himself walking the very junkyard they found themselves in. Then the sounds of a blaster rang out and he waited for the end; only this time he heard a third and fourth sound as the bolts were ricocheted back at the lizard thug.

Opening his eyes to see what had occurred he saw Dav face first and moving with some life, the Trandoshan however had billows of smoke leaking into the air. It was the first time he'd smelt the flesh from a blaster burn and it wasn't one he much enjoyed. Staying in place he wasn't sure how to react to the Wookiee or his lightsaber and thought standing still would be the best option; even with his sibling injured only feet away. Then the words of the beast managed to creep into Zekk's mind; he watched as the Wookiee's mouth did not move but words penetrated his mind, telling them to flee. Giving a glance over his shoulder at the Twi'lek he could tell by his facial expression that he was just as stunned by the words which brought Zekk's guess to fruition. Taking a short step towards his brother the Twi'lek let one more threat outward before making his break for it.

"Roorba will know about this! He will know what happened here; this I promise you!"

He'd spit at the feet of Kwanli and as he did so a shot would ring out from Zekk's left, from the Trandoshan. It was a final attempt from the lizard to seek revenge as his body fell limp the bolt was intended for the Wookiee's chest but instead went wide and at the giant's right shoulder. The Twi'lek took this sudden surprise to enact a gesture of his own; a flash grenade dropping at his feet as they carried him in the opposite direct. As soon as it hit the ground a burst of light would fill the small corridor along with a pop of noise. It was enough to make Zekk's hands go to his ears and crumple in a ball on the ground. The ringing wouldn't stop.

Kwanli had enough of this mess and it seemed he had done little to ease tensions. The Twi'lek fled as he had figured, but there was something unexpected. A blaster shot range from behind him near where he had left the dead Trandoshan. There was little time to react or judge what was happening behind him as the bolt approached his shoulder quickly. In the split second of thought he had before the sizzling lightsaber moved to intercept, he had time for only one suspicion.

The boy is firing at me now?

Whether he was right or wrong would become clear too late. The Wookiee's body turned towards the fallen lizard as he deflected the shot back to sender (or so he thought). His eyes went wide a moment as he watched the bolt head on its collision course with the young human. There was nothing he could do but hope it wasn't fatal. Kwanli's agony was further extended when the flash bang went off and he was unable to see the damage he caused. He was forced to turn and be ready to defend himself if the scum came back. All the while, his thoughts were turned to the damage he may have just done to these boys.

A roar echoed in the valley of junk as he threatened once more to make sure the Twi'lek was running, and to see if he could feel a reaction from the boys. His emotions were a mess and his senses could not be trusted until his vision returned. So far no other shots had been fired. The grenade was likely a means to escape or gain position to attack later. It would be dealt with later after the Jedi had regained himself a little better. How many more did he have to kill, to watch age, and to watch die before it stopped hurting him?

Zekk's thoughts and imagination was running rampant as he laid on the ground, his eyes tightly shut and hands still cupped over his ringing ears. The nails of his fingertips were somewhat digging into his flesh as he tried to pull the sound from their source; something only time could mend. It felt like an eternity writhing in pain against the ground one memory sticking out more than any other and that was the blaster bolt fired from the Trandoshan ricocheting from the Jedi's blade. His eyes had nearly seen it strike his brother; but not before the flash took that sight away from him. It wasn't what he saw that was damaging his psyche, but what he felt in those precious moments.

Somehow through the pain the teenager found himself climbing to his knees while his palms 'clawed' at the ground blindly in the direction he remembered his brother laying. Even against the blindness he could 'feel' himself drawing nearer to his sibling and at last his hand touched warm flesh. Again he could smell what he had only smelt for the first time seconds before: blaster burn; this time it was different. Unlike cooked snake or reptilian meat it came across with fleshy undertones, but something was off about it. Cradling the adolescent in his arms after rolling him to his back he could feel the limp body pressed against his thighs; Zekk was now sitting. Running his free hand up Dav's stomach everything seemed okay until his finger tips neared his sternum; heat was expelling from the lad's core. Halting the movement of his own hand he felt the warmth of his brother's hand gently press against his own face. The shaking of his small hand was enough for Zekk to know it was taking all of Dav's strength to even extend his arm outward and up. It was then Zekk's own hand came to his siblings chest and the heat that was there burned so hot his hand flinched away; the burning extending to his own finger tips and a gasp escaped his lips.

"...I-I-..."

Dav's voice was weak and breaking as he tried to speak. Readjusting his grip on the child he pulled him in closer. Tighter. Whispers would break the silence before his hand fell finally limp and his entire frame followed. The words only audible enough for the elder brother to hear. It was in that moment he realized the tears were streaming from his own face; his last of kin falling just as his parents had leaving him alone in a cruel galaxy with only memories of pain to console him; to haunt him. Then as quickly as his vision had left his eyes it returned to blurriness. He would be staring down at Dav, the young man pale at the loss of life and his chest smoking from the inherent burns.

Just as his vision returned so would his hearing. The ringing had stopped, but instead was replaced by the sound of his own voice screaming out in pain. He would press his forehead against his brothers, holding onto the boy like one would expect a parent to while trying to get them to sleep. As his vocal chords cracked his shouts of madness began to fade to an unequaled sadness. That sadness changed to pain and again to anger before his blood boiled into a rage. Looking over his shoulder the Twi'lek had disappeared, but turning the other direction his eyes traced along the frame of the beast that killed Dav. His gripped hands clenched into fists balling up the shirt the young one had worn.

His green eyes once finishing the trace of the Jedi's frame focused on the lightsaber he held and his grip relinquished some of the rage going with it before being replaced by fear. He had no weapon to combat the giant, no training to enact revenge; everything he had was taken from him; in his arms. Feeling his head drop in defeat his vision was now transfixed on the Trandoshan; the reptiles grip extended outward holding onto the weapon that killed Dav.
