Greetings! I am Arturia Paorach, or Art to my friends. I just happen to stumble across this place last night and decided it sounds like fun. I am currently an active member of the Galactic Empire in the Star Wars combine for those of you who know what that is. I have been there for over 3 years.

I have done a lot of different styles of RP over the last decade or so I have been active in it. So I am looking forward to settling in and learning the ropes around here. Especially given the time line y’all follow here. Might take me second to get all caught up so forgive me if stumble on something.

Otherwise I am eager to get in and meet y’all and have some fun!

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I do have a question for y'all. And I apologise if this is the wrong place to ask.

I have been reading though all the rules, time lines, and faction info as well as other people's PCs. One thing that I have yet to find, assuming it exists, are any guidelines or rules realting to the stat blocks, skills, and education.

If some one could enlighten me or point me to the right place to read up on it I would greatly appreciate it.

My current way of looking at it is based on the D&D / Pathfinder mind set I have.

So stat wise a 5 out of 10 would be plain normal and run of the mill. Where as a 10 would be basically near minor deity level.

Since the skill blocks, at least on the template I am using, only goes to 5 for skills and knowledge I assume it's something along these lines.
0 - no training/skill or knowlage
1 - basic training/skill or knowlage
2 - advance training/skill or knowlage
3 - practical hands on experience o
4 - years of experience
5 - master of that topic

So if I am more less right on the money or way off in left field please let me know!

While I'm not a Moderator, Administrator or anything of significance on the forum, take my reply with a touch of salt.

Most from what I have seen when it comes to abilities list skills in ranking order of. "N/A, Average, Adept, Expert and Master." However I've lately come to use 'graphs' or bars, if you like, like you have in your workshop profile. But your assumptions are to my own knowledge, pretty spot on.

Newbies aren't supposed to be this good at code! You're putting me to shame.

Also, if you want, you can always have your character start out as a Commander rather than Private. Of course, only if you want. Either way, fantastic character. Hurry up and finish him up so we can thread already!

I am about done with him. I picked private since I wanted to start at the bottom and work my way up or die trying. Plus I am new here so I want to learn as I go and starting at the bottom is the best way.
