ONE THOUSAND (at last)

I've finally reached one thousand posts after two years of being on this board. This is a happy day for me! (Which is overshadowed by the fact that there are people with 50000 posts, but give me a break. I'm just happy to be in the quadruple digits at last.) I'd like to thank all my friends and enemies for making this possible, which would be too long of a list to post here without making my hands hurt. I'd also like to thank the people that fall in between those two statuses (which is probably the majority). You guys are awesome, and I look forward to another several thousand posts with the lot of you.

No, not really, not beyond the fact that I'm just happy to reach quads. Past this point I couldn't care less. ^^;

I think it's a pretty big accomplishment for those of us on the site who finally reach as many posts. It's something that not many members on the site even see the shadow of! there are so many people who join, and never make it to see 1000 posts, because they end up leaving for whatever reason it is. I can say that they're truly missing out. There is a lot of fun to be had here, and I think the number of posts kind of measures the amount of fun we have!

Perhaps there's a point of diminishing returns on post count?
Being just shy of 7k makes me happy, but honestly. Once you hit 100, 500, 1000, and 5000, you stop giving a crap. ;)
