Feris sat in a dark room, shrouded by his brown robe that hid his pale face. His face was white and cold. Never offering an expression of emotion. Feris was emotionless, or so it would seem.

Feris could begin to feel the force. If he concentrated hard enough he could feel it courseing thru his body like blood thru his veins. He was to be molded by an rising star within the Sith: Hauron

Feris didn't know much about his new master, but surely there was much to learn. Feris was ignorant of the power of the force, even if he could almost feel it. Feris would be molded into an instrument of the force. And with the force and the power it brings, and with the power and the fear that it brings, Feris Kai would bring justice to the galaxy, and balance to the force.

Hauron walked into the room to see his new student. He was having more and more responsibilities piled on him, and this was just one of a long line of responsibilities. The person he was to train sat in the centre of his room.
''Up'' he ordered the man. The man obediently stood, but didn't face him. Hauron kicked him in the back, forcing him to the floor.
''Face me when i'm talking to you, ok!?'' Hauron shouted at the apprentice. He could tell this one had a tenuos connection with the force, and anger and pain would strengthen it.

Feris didn't much appreciate the kick to the back, but Feris was well aware of what he signed up for. Feris knew he was a weakling compared to his Master, and obedience was absolutly necessary.

''Face me when i'm talking to you, ok!?'' his master comanded

Feris nodded in obedience to his new master, awaiting his tutelage...

''Right. Now first, i'll gauge your blade abilities. we'll use these'' Hauron explained in an impatient tone, handing him a stave approximately 3 and a half feet long. He took up a simple Makashi stance, and waited, a mocking smile on his face

''Attack me.''

Feris was focused and never hesitated. As soon as his master beckoned him, Feris attacked with full force. Feris attacked wildly swinging the blade (or staff really), using a wide strong, swiping attacks. Feris threw in a couple kicks to kepp his opponent guessing.

Feris had never been formally trained in fighting, but he was well versed in one-on-one combat. Feris had been fighting his whole life. Scratching and clawing for what little he had in this world. One could not aquire anything without taking it, and Feris learned that at a young age. Nothing was given to you! Nothing was free! Everything has its costs. And this was the cost of joining the Sith...

Hauron smiled as the man threw himself at him. No restraint. He easily blocked the wild swings, and daoged the kicks and punches, moving his body in seemingly impossible ways, his feet rooted to the ground. As Feris swept the blade past him, he hit his shoulder, causing him to drop the stave. Hauron then hit him behind the knees, causing him to drop to the ground.

''The raw passion is a good thing, but it needs refinement. I'm amazed you even survived this long in life if you fight like that'', he sneered, throwing the dropped stave at him.

''Stand. I shall show you the true art of death''

Feris was forced to his knee's, humbled before his master.

The thought that Feris was a mere ant to his master was solidified in those moments of heated sparing. Feris was complelty humbled before Hauron. Hauron moved so smoothly and confidently, the force guided Master Hauron in an elegant manner. Hauron was strong with the force. Feris stood humbly before his master, awaiting instruction.

''Stand. I shall show you the true art of death''

"Yes, my master."

Standing before his Master, Feris brushed the dirt off his dark brown robe. His short black hair was spiked and shining like little dark spires. His prosthetic face was pale and expressionless. It complety de-humanized Feris, and added a mysterious, dark attribute. His eyes could not be seen behind the false face.

''Hmm... a prosthetic face. Don't see one of them every day'' Hauron mused as he watched his apprentice remove his hood, picking up the stave. Hauron took up a simple stance, feet apart, the stave perpendicular to his body.

''Recreate this stance.'' was the simple order.

Feris tried to mimic the stance, but he was rigid and stiff. Feris looked down to make sure his feet were spaced apart the right length, judging from his master's feet. Feris held his staff held out in front of him.

Hauron quickly jumped out of his stance to come over to Feris. Hauron smacked Feris across the knees.

SMACK</span>

His back was not straight enough either.

Master Hauron walked back over to his spot and recreated the stance and reitterated his previous comment:

<span style="color:#808080">''Recreate this stance.''

Feris followed this simple order...

Feris stood across from his master as a mirror image. Feris then cocked his head slowly to the side as a sign of "Right?!" to his teacher.

''Right enough. Now, this stance.'' Hauron replied, standing in a more complex position, one hand behind his back, with the other holding the stave up at a 20 degree angle, and a tiny angle to the left.
''Use this to get past an opponent with a shorter reach than you. The blade is at an angle so you go past the blade. Do it.''

"I see." Feris said while mentally recording that tip.

Feris tried the manuever, but he was not sure if he got the sword angle right. His back was straight and his feet were tight together. He placed his hand upon his back and asked:

"Is this satisfactory?"

''NO!''was the shouted reply from Hauron. He whacked at Feris' legs, knocking them apart slightly, the hit his arm, and told him to not be touching the back.
''Try again''

Feris jumped out of his stance and shook his limbs, trying to loosen up his body. He was stiff because he was slightly nervous around his new master. Feris got back into the position his master was in. Feris mimiced the posture perfectly and even had the sword at the 20 degree angle. Feris' stance was flawless...

"Easy..."

Feris said confidently and slightly cocky.

"What next?"

Hauron showed his new apprentice some more stances, and more complex attacks, until Hauron felt he was competent. Halfway through a drill, Hauron stopped him.''Now you know how to use one, you shall build a lightsabre of your own. Do not view your lightsabre as a weapon, but as an extension of your power. It is a symbol of strength and competence'', he explained, whilst proffering a black box.''This box contains focussing crystals, the integral part of the lightsabre. Choose one, and find the mterials from the quatermaster for construction of your lightsabre. there are many treatises upon the subject, so it shouldn't be too difficult.'

Feris was excelling in his training from wise Master Hauron. Hauron was a skilled fighter and Feris was previously untrained at fighting, despite a past of slugging it out...

Not it was time for Feris to begin his true apprenticeship. It was time for Feris Kai to construct his own lightsaber. Feris Kai had faught Jedi that used lightsaber against him. It was a terrible weapon to face. The lightsaber is so destructive, Feris craved one since the moment he smelled his burnt flesh, seared at the hands of the enemy Jedi's green lightsaber. Feris vowed to not only have one lightsaber, but TWO.

As Feris stood before Hauron, about to choose his crystal, he paused for a moment to seek the counsel of his new master.

"Hauron, you are immensely wise, which is why I ask you humbly: Is it forbidden for me to have two crystals? I wish to have a second lightsaber in my arsenal against the enemy Jedi. Is this permitted, my Lord?"

Hauron permitted Feris to take two red crystals from the box.

The next task was to construct not only one, but two lightsabers. Feris returned to his quarters with his crystals from Master Hauron and some supplies he aquired from others. With these supplies, Feris sat down at his workbench and looked at the many smalls parts and peices.

Feris first began construction of the hilt, which consisted of all the large parts. Adjusting the activation button, and the belt clip. Feris continued on the innard of the device. Feris started with the bottom half of the hilt which held inside, the emitter matrix, the micro-power cell connected to the recharge socket (to reenergize the power cell when the lightsaber is off). Then Feris started with the upper half of the inner workings. Feris adjusted the focusing crystal, provided by his Master. The crystal was synthetic, which made it stronger than regular crystals and gave the lightsaber its red hue. The focusing crystal was the most important part of the lightsaber and had to be positioned perfectly. Feris let the force guide his slender fingers as they delicatley place the synth-crystal. He encompassed the innard with the hilt and fused the hilt together, revealing his first lightsaber. Feris turned it on...

Feris' arm shook with recoil from the force of the lightsabers power. He began to recall his duel with a Jedi, where Feris suffered 3 large cuts from his lightsaber. Feris could still remember the smell of his own flesh, burnt to a crisp. (smelld like chicken)

Feris swung the sword around and heard the hum it emited as it flowed thru the air. It was a remarkable weapon of devastation, and in the hands of an up and coming Sith, this lightsaber would claim the lives of many in the battles to come.

Feris decided to construct his second lightsaber before he became sidetracked with his new weapon/toy. Feris continued to toil away at his workbench constructing a lightsaber...

Feris stood in the great dark room, his lightsabers illuminating the room with red light. The loud HUM's echoed thru-out the large hall. Feris swung the blades carefully, in a safe stance.

This is going to be immensly harder than I expected. Feris thought as he wielded the dual lightsabers.

The lightsabers were soundly constructed and shined in the red glow. Feris' pale prosthetic face looked of a canvas spilled red with paint, and he could feel the power of the swords thru his arms and down into his core. Feris could feel the force pulse thru him and into his swords. He shut the swords down simultaneously and placed the hilts on the workbench. Feris walked a few steps away and fell to his knees.

Feris bowed his head to the ground and began to meditate. Feris was crawling very slowly inside himself. He did this first by imagining he was crawling thru a very tight space, inching his way into the dark recesses of his mind. Feris renergized his soul and focused his mind, concentrating on one thing. Feris was attempting to have a premonition.

Feris once had a vision of the future. It was one he had as he slept in his adolescence. He saw himself standing in the red glow of the blood moon upon a hill in the Valley of the Dark Lords. This vision came to life one fateful evening while Feris visited Korriban, the capitol of the Sith Empire. Feris was told by his wise Master Hauron that those who were strong in the force, saw visions of the future events. Hauron told his apprentice that meditation and concentration was key to this application of the force.

Feris' mind was blank ... black. Dark nothingness as Feris swam inside his own conscience.

Suddenly a picture flashed in his mind. It was a horrible image. Feris jumped out of his deep meditation, despite the fact the he only had a picture jump into his head. Feris had no premonition, only an image. An image of his Master laying dead at the feet of a Jedi. Could this possibly be true?

''I'm afraid it is Feris'' Came a ghostly voice. an incredibly faint image of Hauron, with his eyes materialised in front of his apprentice. ''I wish for you to have my lightsabre. You may have two, but i wish for you to have it. You must meet Rogal Natharn, on Nar Shaddaa. He should be easy to find. He wears my eye bandage around his arm. Ask him for my lightsabre. He will give it to you. Now Feris. Goodbye'' Hauron Whispered as he dissipated into the void...

Feris had so many questions for his master, but Hauron's spirit swiftly disapated. Feris was upset, but knew it was Hauron's fate. All is as the force wills it...

Feris wondered when he would leave the material world and join the force. Would it be at the sounds of crying loved ones, or rejoicing subjects. Essentially, what would Feris end up, before his end...

Feris hoped to be someone great, and live long and fight hard. First hard fight might be against this Jedi scum, ROGAL. But I am not ready to face him. He must first train with his lightsabers, and one day I will claim my masters lightsaber and try to cliam the Jedi's life. That is his destiny ... to die at my hands. The Jedi will feel this hurt someday.

Feris was not entirely discouraged from his training by the loss of his master. Feris knew it was his time to join and finally become one with the force...

Feris now had a better perspective on his mission.

I will learn to control my abilities and when I am confident of my training, I will become the useful tool of the Sith Empire. I will become a Sith Master!

Feris was meandering around his domicile of the Sith compound. Feris could no longer progress in this place. Feris' destiny led to a stronger place.

From here Feris will travel the stars until he finds a suitable force-user, to take him on as an apprentice. And in the meantime, Feris was intent on exploring his past and figuring out his origin.

First stop: the subtle hills of Dantooine

Intermission
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Feris had been traveling the stars for a few weeks now. Visiting the gentle hills of Dantooine and the concrete jungle planet of Coruscant, where the Mandolorains recently attacked the Sith Imperial Palace. After witnessing the attack, Feris encountered the enemy Jedi, Rogal, who killed his Master Hauron. Rogal was a hot-headed Jedi, who would be easily defeated in the near future. Feris knew he was not ready to succeed where Hauron failed. Not yet...

Feris was sent a message, not long after these events. The message beckoning Feris to return to the Sith compounds and continue his training with the Sith. He was now to have two master: Phoenix and the Dark Lord himself, Darth Nexus. Feris returned to his training and met first with Master Phoenix
