The hologram burst into life and Darth Evandrus, the High Judge, stared at his assembled allies as they began their mission. He flashed them a quick smile before it was down to business - his face almost uncharacteristically serious as he stood before them in his casual clothes,

"The bandits from the Library have a leader. This leader is a Jedi Master who chose the life of a hermit, forsaking the Order. I suppose, in a way, they are both Jedi and Exile? It hardly matters. We are Sith and if they will not bow, if they will not bend?"

He frowned,

"Break them."

The hologram shut itself off.

A Jedi Master who became a hermit after the Library fell, and he leads a group of bandits? That's interesting, yet futile. No matter, hermit Jedi Master or not this is a pest problem that needs to be dealt with. It's not real threat, just a nuisance really, but a nuisance nonetheless. Darth Evandrus wants a Sith Temple and Imperial base on the planet and he will have it. Once the last pockets of resistance have been dealt with things should be going smoothly. Spencer Ward is charged with leading a group of Sith to dispatch these guys. With him is fellow Warden Kano Taes, Foreign Legion Commander Kalladrrl, who are both pretty well known in the Empire. Lesser known is Graham Siccaro a lieutenant. The hologram disappeared and Evandrus' orders are clear.

This, right where Spencer is standing point - along the path to the crystal caverns on Ossus that the Jedi hermit is reported to be be hiding out and based in. - is the meeting point. From there they will group up and deal with the bandits. Spencer has all his standard equipment on him.

It's been a long time since the Judgement Warden and Sith Master has been to Ossus, back when he was still a Jedi Shadow and the Temple and Library still stood. Now none of those things stand and Spencer is a Sith Master. How time can change things so drastically... The irony isn't lost on Spencer but putting that aside from now, his focus is on this mission.

Lieutenant Graham Siccaro watched the hologram fade, his face stoic as ever and mind focused on the task at hand. The briefing had been short and simple, and could be simply boiled down to 'here is the target, kill it'. This team was to deal a fatal blow to the bandits and take out their leader, a Jedi Master. While he wished to know more about the numbers they faced, the bandit's defensive capabilities, and desperately wanted at least some information on their final target, he would just have to make do. Just think of it as another way to prove yourself. You are here along with proven heroes of the Empire, and you are going to show them what you are worth.

He looked over his gear once more, making sure everything was prepared and in place. His ISC armor was firmly secured, his sidearm powered up and holstered. Each grenade was it it's place, as were the throwing knives he had on his left bracer, the vibrosword tight in it's sheath, and his rifle ready in his hands. He had originally been concerned about the weight, but he firmly subscribed to the philosophy of 'it is better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.' Especially when a Jedi was concerned.

He looked over toward Master Ward, Taes, and Commander Kalladrrl, nodded once and asked "How do we proceed?"

Ossus was in turmoil and Kalladrrl could feel it, but that was fine by him. He didn't have the connection to this place those who had properly been Exiles had; he could still feel it in the air like the tension of a live wire. Breaking a planet fully. Kalladrrl breathed in deep, taking air in through his nostrils like a bellows as Evandrus’ hologram faded away. It was an exhilarating venture and Kalladrrl was eager to pull his weight.

The party arrayed would cut a swath of terror through any resistance they could offer. Kalladrrl himself was impressive; he leveraged this fact against all opponents as he overwhelmed him with his size and ferocity. And there was one among them who almost matched him in size but could levy other advantages and the Wookiee was impressed by the Warden. The other was Warden...Ward. A bulky human. Not the biggest he'd seen but size wasn't everything in the measure of a warrior or a Sith.

But it could be. It depended on the individual. Vex would be small next to Spencer, but she was mighty indeed. He suppressed a small, secret smile.

Rounding out their numbers was a crack Shock Corps soldier. Good.

Kalladrrl proffered earpieces to each of them. No telling who could or couldn't speak his language anymore, especially after all that hogwash getting started on Sarka. He'd wait for each of them to take one as they needed before he spoke, the deep vocabulation of a modified protocol droid carrying his words.

“If we want to play this loud, the order of battle seems clear, Lieutenant. Warden Taes and I should engage enemies in melee and keep them occupied while Warden Ward provides specialist support and engages as he sees fit.” Kalladrrl nodded in respect to each as he addressed them. “You, Lieutenant, should provide ranged support from defensive positions. Keep your eyes and ears open for any changes in conditions and keep everyone up to speed.” He paused, raising the helmet under his arm and securing it in place to complete his Sith battle armor. He continued briefly, his tone gregarious even friendly.

“I'm open to other ideas, though. 'Specially if anybody has any tips on fighting a Jedi Master.” He barked once in laughter. “I've only ever sparred against Sith!” He chuckled to himself as he yielded the floor and checked his belt for his grenades and the two lightsabers, both now graced with hilts fit for his hand. Everything was in place. He was ready for war.

Kano didn't find strange that they were actually going against a jedi, the Kaleesh abomination already had the feeling that would be the case after being part of the strike team that attacked the jedi temple the bandits were hiding in, he never thought that it was simple coincidence, nothing was coincidence in this damn galaxy, but...Kano didn't mind, a jedi was a worthy warrior and a hated enemy at the same time, killing one was always satisfying.

Kano had his five lightsaber on himself, while he only needed four, having a backup one wouldn't hurt him. His armor already equipped, his metal Kaleesh mask hiding and protecting his horrifying face. He didn't know any of his companions from before, but he had heard many things about the commander and Warden Ward, didn't know much about the lieutenant, but someone that had such a high rank must have earnt it.

The Kaleesh abomination listened with attention to the wookiee, not needing the earpiece Kalladrrl gave to him, he had a fair amount of knowledge about the wookiee language, having teached a wookiee the ways of the force before. "I agree with your plan, commander Kalladrrl, a loud, direct entrance it's probably the best way to go at the moment" He said, nodding in approval "A more...stealthy approach would not be efficient enough, these bandits and the jedi most likely expect us to come, they probably know of the operations that I have already leaded, including the assault on the destroyed temple" Kano explained "When confronting the jedi, I recommend to use a similar tactic to the one which you have proposed" He explained, looking at the other three members of the empire forces

"A jedi is usually a powerful enough warrior, but this is a jedi master we are talking about, we should expect a great use of the force, a lot of versatility and a powerful close quarters fighter. However, even the most powerful among the force users can only defend themselves from so many attacks" Kano looked at Kalladrrrl first "Commander, we will engage that jedi in lightsaber combat together, using synchronized attacks to force him to be on the defensive and stop him from targetting master Ward and lieutenant Siccaro" Then he looked at Spencer "Master Ward, you would use the force to limit the jedi master, hold him on a place, restrain his movement, attack him with lightning and fire, push him and pull him, make it harder for him to concentrate and easier for us to hit him" And finally, he looked at Graham "Lieutenant, you must flank the jedi and open fire on him while we distract him, a jedi can't deflect a shot from the side when he is fighting two people in front of him and dealing with force powers form a third person at the same time, don't get behind him though, because the jedi could try to make you hit us, besides, getting behind him would distance yourself from us, which would make you an easier target for him"

"As a general tip, avoid using grenades, he can bounce them back using the force, try to not give him any kind of quarter, the harder it is for him to concentrate, the better" Kano explained, letting an unnerving smile form on his lips because of what he was going to say "Jedi also love long speeches for some reason, if he starts talking without being prepared, just attack him" The Kaleesh abomination added as a final remark, some jedi have already fallen because of that, yet they simply don't learn "Anyone want to modify this strategy a little? Now it's the time for planning, we won't be able to do that later"

It rained on Ossus.

It had rained ever since the Sith had seized control of the planet, like a world in mourning. A world unready for subjugation just yet. Tearing down the Jedi library to make way for another great structure to their oh so mighty and terrible Empire. Not that he held any love for the Jedi either. Not any longer. Few saw the galaxy the way he did, saw the Force the way it truly was, and that made them blind. Even these... Sith, so they called themselves, knew not its true nature.

He would not fight them now for the Jedi, not for some sorry sense of justice, or revenge, as those parties might have. No, he fought them for he knew his will was the will of the Force, and it had commanded him to stay here. Him, Master Arek Heldar, or so once he was.

To those at his command he was only Arek, and he had lived and trained with them for many long years, even under the watch of the Jedi. A battle's aftermath had made a perfect time to sally forth for supplies and secrets, though it seemed the worlds new owners had caught on.

The whole of Ossus was his home, not the Sith's or the Jedi's. And in the crystal caves they had waited, waited and watched as the battle raged beyond them. He and his people. Not all were force sensitives. That did not matter to the force though, and the force willed him on even now to resist this. Or so at least he believed. So his people believed. And as the Sith marched on his home now then they would see that come to light, in the glow of a lightsaber, in the hum of blasters.

The Sith then, as they gathered together and made their way to the crystal caverns entrance, would be met by a lone figure, standing in its entrance, a golden lightsaber drawn,

"This is not your home, Sith, nor is it your place to meddle. Leave us, leave us be" He would offer them curtly. He had no time for this parlay, begone or be ready, he thought, having already drawn the force to himself, ready to respond to any attack in a flash. He was not alone here, though he presened himself as such. One he had taught in secret, another waylaid child of the Order, one who had grown in strength as the years went by, had perched themselves now upon the ridgeline above the entrance, out of sight, duel blades at the ready should the Sith make a move against her Master. The caves entrance and the interior tunnels were lined with traps, long established to keep away intruders. The Master and Apprentice would know this, though the Sith could not, if need came to fall back.

Alrighty and with that we'll start the 48 hour timer per side, let's keep this moving :) If you can't make it just hit me up and we can work something out, don't want to be autohitting ya, but outside of that, a few more deets: The Jedi Master is level 3, the Apprentice is level 2

Kalladrrl listened intently to Warden Taes, taking in the words that flowed from him. He wouldn’t have judged the monstrous - well, he didn’t know what kind of being Kano was for certain although he did remind him of Xornoth, despite being almost a meter taller than his friend - the monstrous person as being the talkative type, but he was clearly a renowned warrior with much insight to offer on their prey of choice. Kalladrrl felt the thrill of warriors bonding as the Warden modified the designs of his plan to suit their specific needs. If Warden Taes wielded a lightsaber in each of his hands, which seemed to the Wookiee to be his style, then no Jedi, Master or not, could be able to stand against six lightsabers drawn against him at once. Seven, if he counted Spencer’s lightsaber among that number. Force support from him would definitely come in handy and the Lieutenant flanking the Jedi could possibly end the fight before Warden Taes or the Commander had the chance to end the Jedi by lightsaber. He imagined Graham would have one hell of a story to tell if he managed that feat. Hell, Kalladrrl would be tempted to throw him a considerable credit bonus for a kill like that.

The rain intensified as a voice rang out, catching his attention. So, the Jedi had his fill of hiding and had finally decided to confront his problems instead of hiding from him. Perhaps the fool wasn’t beyond Imperial salvation after all, if he had come to meet them as outnumbered as he was. Perhaps the Wardens and the Commander could co opt the Jedi and strip that foul title away to leave in its place the sublime power of the Dark Side of the Force. Would that not be a fitting end to this Jedi’s exile? To witness such an abandonment of principle made him eager to join battle with the Jedi.

Contrary to Warden Taes’ advice, this Jedi was not enough of a fool to blather about their spineless version of justice or order, instead keep his admonishment curt. Over the pattering of the rain against the soil at the lip of the crystal cave, Kalladrrl could hear the Jedi’s lightsaber whirring in the air as its golden color illuminated him. He looked old, but age was no determinator of power with the Force, just like size. But he would feel his age by the time Kalladrrl, the Wardens and the Lieutenant finished with him.

The Wookiee did not engage immediately; he instead hung on the final phrase of the Jedi’s warning. It called out to him as odd. It spoke of attachment beyond what brigands could expect from a Jedi Master; it betrayed him.

"Rraanwrrraohohrn?" came the Wookiee's baying taunt, confidence amplifying his voice and making the Jedi's seem feeble in comparison. "Rraaaohnnakrrfkakuri, rrurraalrrft!"

Kalladrrl took a step forward from the group to gain momentum to close with the Jedi before he rolled aggressively over his shoulder, moving around the Jedi about a quarter turn. Both hands found lightsabers at his belt and both flicker to ignition, defying the rain with light hisses as droplets impacted the blades of plasma. In his left was the darker blade, arrayed in his dominant hand, while brilliant vermillion issued forth from the lightsaber in his other. He swung with the left as he guarded with the right, wary of the golden lightsaber brandished in the grip of a master of the Force.

The time had come to test this Jedi's mettle and by extension, the mettle of Kalladrrl and his comrades.

Graham put the earpiece in place and listened carefully to advice the Commander and the Warden had given them. Their physical presence spoke well of their combat prowess but he was innumerably glad to see that each possessed a keen tactical mind. He drank up every bit of information given, not just the suggestions as to his specific combat role but everyone's. If he was going to be stuck leading ground troops for the rest of his career he might as well be the best damn infantry commander the Empire would ever see. And that meant not only learning how to fight force users with conventional soldiers, but how to properly employ force users of his own. He had to agree, the general idea of outflank and overwhelm was probably the best they had. But that only assumed one target. While the majority of the bandits should currently be under assault from their compatriots, some may be here in support of their leader.

He gave himself one more task on to of those already given. Watch our flanks.

He looked up into the falling rain, letting it soak his face and holding onto that feeling before settling his helmet into place. They set off down the short path toward the entrance to these crystal caves, and Graham kept his head on a swivel the whole time. then there was a snap-hiss that cut through the pouring rain, and their team was met with a gold glowing blade. It came as some surprise that the Jedi Master would choose to come out from a defensible position to meet them. but as Graham looked over the entrance to the caves he could see the merit. The entrance was not particularly narrow but it would limit an attempt they made in flanking him, and might even limit how many could close to saber range.

As the Jedi began to speak Graham began to slowly sidestep, taking advantage of the monologue time that the warden had mentioned. Yet again the Jedi surprised him by keeping it short, only enough time to move a few paces. Then Kalladrrl roared and began to move. Graham threw himself into a shoulder roll, coming up in a crouch in the opposite direction than what the Wookiee took. He shouldered his blaster, took quick aim and squeezed off two blasts at the man, hoping that Kalladrrl distracted him enough for the blast to land true.

But in the back of him mind something nagged at him, something the Jedi had said.......

To be honest, Kano didnt expect the jedi to come to them, he thought that he would probably stay back and order around the bandits from safety, yet there he was, confronting them on the entrace, telling them to go away, but prepared to fight them should he have to. At first glance, it may have looked like the jedi was basically making it easier for them to kill him. But it was certainly not, the jedi wouldn't be so foolish to stand against them alone, while the jedi tend to do last stands to save those they cared about, there was no way out of the cavern but this one, which meant that the few bandits that were still alive would be alone and cornered after his death. They were to confront something else besides the old man, Kano was certain of that.

Kano stepped forward, looking at the once jedi master after his short speech, he seemed like a worthy opponent and the Kaleesh abomination woulf treat him lime one "You're the one that forced us to come, ordering your soldiers to attack the Empire's citiziens" Kano said, his lightsabers being activated all at the same time followed by the sound of the rain dissipating when touching the crimson lights, "Prepare yourself" Kano gave a brief look at Spencer and Graham followed by a small hand gesture, trying to say "watch out" He was confident that they knew what he meant with that.

Kano followed Kalladrrl, sprinting at full speed to close distance between him and the old jedi master, the Kaleesh would be positioned at Kalladrll's right, doing a frontal assault on the jedi while his other two partners, his upper right and left arms swinging at the same time, doing a diagonal motion that would hit the jedi's shoulder if it landed true, his other two arms prepared to defend himself and counter attack if he saw an opening. However, the jedi would probably use the force to defend himself, for there was no say he would block so many things at once, Kano would prepare himself for that too, he didnt have time to concentrate and gather the force yet, but he knew his possible actions, which would be enough for now

What a fool. It's no wonder the Jedi are becoming an increasingly endangered species though out the galaxy, they just keep throwing themselves out in there in the open for anyone to cut them them down. Maybe this go would no better. He seems to still have some friends with him. As the rain continues to pour down, something doesn't seem right. Either this guy is brave at suicidal levels or something is up and he doesn't like it. Anyways, earlier Kano suggested using the force to inhibit the hermit Jedi Master's movements when it came to that point. As the hermit was monoluging, Spencer was taking this time to gather the Force with in him. Spencer - unlike Kalladari and Kano - didn't really humour the Jedi's attempt at parley. Evandrus wants him gone and the hermit is going down one way or another so there is no use.

The Judgement Warden would draw a lightsaber to his hand as well, and would keep behind ten meters from where the hermit was as the wookie commander and the Sith abomination would be committing to strikes. Spencer's stance meant he was ready for battle. Even as the Graham fired some shots, Spencer didn't commit to any moves of his own just yet however, instead he would heed Kano's suggestion, looking for a good moment to use, hopefully endding this fight quickly. The traitorous Shadowmaster would watch the hermit's reactions to what's coming his way right now and go from there as the Force was building within him. At any moment, Spencer is ready to and could reach out with the Force as he sees fit, but if the hermit falls from the efforts of the other three, the ex-Jedi Shadow won't be complaining. So, lets see how the hermit handles this..

These Sith would give no quarter it seemed. Any guilt he might have held for raiding their supplies dissipated as soon as their replies came to him. Not that he held much after watching the war-mongers sack the planet. He held no love for the Jedi but such wanton violence was not in the way of the Force. He had left the Jedi partly because of this. And partly for other reasons.

Not that those reasons mattered now, not as the enemies began to make their moves. But he was ready, and long had he honed his craft and skill in the wilderness of Ossus, trained long and hard with those people the Sith called bandits. He called them family, and he would not abandon them so easily. His foes were quick, skilled, but he had the force at his command and at the ready even before they moved. The rain was soaking them all now, falling down robes and drenching hair. And a wookie, a wookie was all hair.

As two began their move toward him, he snapped out with the force. As the wookie (@Rexx) dived into a roll he let out a shot of electricity from his hands in a dart of electrokinesis. Having committed to the roll over his shoulder and without his lightsabers yet drawn, their would be little the wookie could do to avoid it now, and drenched in water he had to expend little energy to make a bolt that would do more damage than normal anyhow. While it would not be enough to kill the wookie, it would certainly break up any kind of attack the thing had planned, and hopefully send him crashing into the ground.

As for the Kaleesh (@Versok), his response would be similar. As his foe broke into a sprint to cross the gap, Arek would shoot out a blast of force energy at the creature. Though not just any force push this would be, but a force pulse. Drawing again into electrokinesis, he combined a burst of kinetic energy with electric energy, sending it out at the kaleesh. With his considerable height, weight, and momentum, it would be difficult to stop or dodge in time. And if it connected, not only would it interrupt his charge, but also shock him enough that Arek would be . Even if he managed to avoid it, Arek would have atleast bought some time.

As he unleashed this pair of blows he jumped back a metre to create some more room between himself and the Sith, either side of him covered by the tunnel now.

As for the blaster shots of the trooper (@Luster), his Apprentice was ready to deal with those. Ready and watching above the ridgeline, she saw the man dive into a shoulder roll as the others attacked. Their attack had begun, so then must her response. She breathed hard, and as the man exited his roll she used a blast of kinetic energy at the mans rifle as he moved it to aim at her Master. The blast would smack the rifle back left, toward his allies, sending his bolts flying the wrong way. Otherwise she remained above, ready to intervene again if need be, keeping an eye on the soldier and the Sith who remained at the rear (@Faster Than Light)

"Leave!" Arek called out again after dealing with the attacks. This would be so much easier if everyone just left eachother alone.

As the wookie's first attack was in the process of being launched and the Jedi was about to counter it, Spencer knew what he had to do and was ready already. The moment the hermit would aim his hand, Spencer would reach out with the Force and use it with the intent to ensnare the hermit in a stasis lock. There would be very significant power behind it. Even if there is a difference in power, the hermit should still not be able to shrug it off as if it's nothing. The Jedi was still trying to launch his electric attack; and it should either slow the hermit down if he resists or render him frozen all together if he doesn't/can't. Even if the Jedi hermit resists, it should still slow him down enough that Kano's and Kalladrrl's attacks would cut him down where he stands. In either case his electric attack on the wookie would be interrupted and all his subsequent actions and attacks would be negated and void. Spencer would hold the stasis lock for a few seconds, either the Jedi would have made it out of his predicament on his own (in the extremely unlikely event) or he would cut up by lightsabers.

After watching how that plays out, regardless there is another person has entered the fray. It seems that the hermit has another Jedi. She wouldn't be able to interrupt Spencer's force stasis attempt as she already is preoccupied with the trooper. The blaster bolts would fly aimlessly elsewhere, but now the ex-Jedi has to deal with her now before she interferes again, but the problem is she has the high ground. Spencer would have a forward sword stance aimed at the Jedi from above, with his brilliant cyan lightsaber ignited, not wanting to take his eyes off of her. If the foolish old man lives, he would be aware of him too. He'd once more call upon the Force as well.

Kano sensed the old hermit gathering the force, just what the Kaleesh abomination expected, however, Spencer also did his part, the force being used against the hermit that used it in the first place. The Kaleesh abomination also took note of the other person that stopped the lieutenant from attacking, but all he had on his sights at the moment was the hermit.

The hermit attack was stopped or delayed by Spencer, Kano would use the time his partner had brought him to get into range, using the force to enchance his speed, moving at speeds beyond human capabilities and getting into melee range, trying what he was going to do initially, two diagonal attacks with his upper blades while defending with the lower ones. This would all happen too fast for the Hermit to use that force attack on him for sure, and would also have little time to defend himself.Kano wasnt afraid of the one that entered the fight either, the Kaleesh didnt give her much time to focus on him, and even if she did prevent him from cutting her master, Kalladrrl would still attack the old man, the sith would give no quarter to them.

The feeling of the force wrapping round him, clinging to his body was one Arek could quickly identify, he himself in a master in the art. In the flash he felt at peace. He would die today, he was sure of it, but he would not leave this world without a fight. Not leave his apprentice to face such darkness alone.

And so, immediately redirecting that energy he had drawn to himself, he burst it outwards from his entire body in a force repulse, sending a explosive wave around himself rippling out that would unleash the Sith's hold on him, though it would take a great deal of strength to do so. But, such were his reactions and skill with the force that this blast would radiate from him before his foes could strike. To hold back the attack they'd have to break off their own, or else be thrown back from its power. It was a blast at the full strength he could muster, he needed it to be to break the hold that found him. But, he'd have bought himself a moment at least, his wookie (@Rexx) and kaleesh (@Versok) foes so close now that there wouldn't be time for them to dive out of the way, given the bubble like shape of the energy that burst forth from him.

It would be one that cost him though, breathing heavily, his robes were torn and ripped apart by his own blast. He stood now before them, bare skin against the rain, to face them a final time.

"Master!" his apprentice called out from above, seeing the display. There was clear distress in her voice, she didn't want to witness this, she couldn't,

"Run, Jana!" He would call back at her words, not taking his eyes off his foes,

"If only you would have left, Sith" he shot at his enemies through gritted teeth. There would be no quarter now. Nor would he show any. Grabbing Kano's (@Versok) bottom two lightsabers with the force, he would attempt to push them back into the kaleesh's own body, cut himself through with his own blades, before stepping backwards into the caves mouth, to be protected on either side. He was weakened thoroughly from such an outburst.

Jana, would hear none of her Masters pleas, she had no intent to let him die here, alone. Having redirected the last shots of the gunman (@Liuster), she turned quickly to the quiet Sith in the rear (@Faster Than Light), who held her Master before. She instead would reach out and draw again on aerokinesis, drawing the wind from the storm around them and whipping up a small cyclone around him, blocking his vision and buffeting his body. He'd have to make an effort to pass through it or tear it down, and that would hopefully buy her time to assist her master,

"Leave him you Sith scum!" she cried as she did so.

Graham blinked in surprise. His sights had been right on the Jedi, and even he was not so bad of a marksman to miss a shot like that. Add on top of that his attention had seemingly been focused on the Sith charging him for dint of being the most immediate threat, and from what he had seen from these Sith regular soldiers garnered little of their attention. With all of that in mind it came as quite a surprise and a massive shock that right as he was pulling the trigger the blaster had bucked against his shoulder and moved in his grip, sending his two shots flying through the pace his comrades had just vacated.

After this he pulled his finger off of the trigger and gritted his teeth, scowling behind his helmet visor and furiously trying to think. Their best bet was to destabilize the Jedi, keep him off balance and reacting to their attacks. But he had just demonstrated an ability to alter their angles of attack, or at lest Graham's anyway, and use the exact same tactic against the strike team and potentially cause unintended wounds. So if this Jedi was able to take control of Graham's blaster, even when concentrating on a strike at the two advancing Sith, would it even be worth it to add more fire? And a grenade was out of the question, things were getting tight in the cave mouth and even if they weren't the Jedi could probably toss it right back at them just as easily.

He was still weighing the options when a concussion burst forth from the Jedi, tearing at his robes and even halting the rain's downward momentum in favor of horizontal movement for the barest of seconds. And that is when he heard it, a call from up above the cavern entrance, and Graham's head snapped up to try and find this interloper. US! He had said us! Why did I not catch that sooner? Then it hit him, maybe the Jedi in the entrance had not been the one to move his aim, maybe all of his attention was all on Kalladrrl and Taes. If that was the case, Graham would happily keep this new threat occupied while the rest dealt focused on the master. Furious, he scanned the ridge until he spotted a bit of movement near where the cry had originated. And as the wind began to pick up around him he unleashed four bolts at that very spot

The hermit jedi master managed to protect himself, the Kaleesh abomination didnt expect less from the old man, he wouldn't have survived so long in this planet otherwise, Kano braced himself after seeing and sensing the force repulse made by the jedi, being thrown away by the great attack. The Kaleesh abomination fell into the cold hard ground, nothing but the aid of the force he gathered for such a short time protecting him from the impact, his body rolled for a mere second before the Kaleesh abomination sunk his robotic leg into the ground, sparks coming from the friction.

The Kaleesh looked at his adversary white-knuckling his four lightsabers before he felt the force gathering around his bottom lightsabers, Kano tightened his grip over his weapons, using all his strength to avoid getting impaled his own crimson blades, Kano quickly called for the force once more to free his weapons fron the hermit's grasp, which apparently gave him enough time to fall back, Kano was going to chase him at first, but decided to focus on the old man's little helper who was being shot at by the lieutenant, the Kaleesh abomination concentrated for a few moments, using the force to create flames which would go towards the apprentice, Kano doubted the pyrokinesis trick would work, but it would at least break her focus on Spencer and reveal who else they were fighting. After doing so, Kano would run towards the hermit again, the jedi was weakened by his own trick, so the Kaleesh warrior was confident he would be capable to hold his own against the old man. This would be all over soon

Spencer wasn't going to just stand there and let the Jedi hermit's little helper person do as she pleases. Spencer already knew someone was up there. In regards to what she is trying to do, she can't exactly conjure a cyclone instantly and the Judgement Warden is the one for using more simpler and quicker movements with the Force to get the job done, even as a Jedi. With the Force at his command, the Force would wrap it's way around the girl's head as a cyclone was forming (before it starts hampering Spencer in any significant way) and then he would squeeze with the Force, aiming to crush the woman's skull. She would to have popped her head up to get line of sight as to carefully target the traitorous Shadow in the manner she did. Also he would be trying to use that grip to move her forward and upwards out of her hiding spot to where her person is more wholly exposed.

Spencer had already by this point built up some more of the Force after the old man broke free early from his stasis attempt. Even though he was putting a lot of effort into a stasis lock on the hermit previously, he didn't even have it in long before the hermit broke out. So right now Spencer is applying full force on the woman right now as she is committing to a flashy force power. It's affects will felt immediately and if not stopped she will die. Not only that, the four-armed abomination shot flames at her and blaster bolts are heading at her position. Concentrating with all these attacks coming in her direction might be problematic, especially as she was already in the process of using another force power.

Kalladrrl backstepped from his attack mightily, his lightsabers arresting their motion and crossing in front of him to give him extra protection from the repulsive force emitted by the Jedi Master. A crafty opponent indeed, but his attachments would be his downfall and already his allies buffeted the Jedi’s apprentice with their attacks and Kalladrrl was not one to avoid an opportunity to combine arms, and as the Jedi apprentice began to assault Spencer with the power of the Force, he angled his right saber to point straight down as he took up a defensive stance with his left saber pointed diagonally down to intercept the Jedi’s attacks, the fingers of his right hand unleashed a torrent of lightning from his fingertips to close with the apprentice, bluish-white and a representation of Kalladrrl’s fury, streaking across the three-dimensional battlefield.

Arek’s breath was heavy, steaming in the air before him after the exertion of the force repulse, floating through the rain that continued to fall. He held them back. For now. He would keep holding them back. But, with the sudden rising of wind around the rear sith (@Faster Than Light) he knew Jana had not heeded his calls. She had stood to fight, just as he had. A true student, and friend. And yet now she had been the fool.

Watching as the squad of Sith turned their weapons away from him and up to his apprentice above, he knew she would not be able to survive these attacks arrayed against her alone, if she would survive them at all.

The Jedi Order was wary of attachments they said, forbade them, the closest among them might be masters and students. Arek and Jana were no different. The darkside, the force that these Sith used, thrived on the emotions such feelings brought about from such things, leant it’s users strength when fought for. A Jedi could not let such feelings through, for fear of seduction, of losing control.

Arek then was no Sith. But he was no Jedi either.

And Jana, Jana had been just like him. To a fault. That was why, as the grip of the darkside user wrapped around her skull, and the rush of bolts, flames, and sparks began to shoot toward her, she thought not of her own life, but that of her Master. She would not let him die here, not alone anyhow. And neither he to her. Struggling against the power laid against her, Arek could sense her fight, and would offer one last of his own, as he forced his body to keep on fighting. Fighting for what might be one last time. It would certainly be the last time Jana would fight. The collective power the Sith sent against her would be too much, held in place and with a trio of powerful attacks coming toward her, Jana breathed her last breath atop their Ossus home.

Arek felt the loss in an instant, the pain of their severed force connection tearing through him. The pain, the grief threatened to overcome him. Instead, he would use it to overcome the Sith

The Sith had made a mistake focusing on all their efforts against Jana, by committing their focus on one the apprentice the master would be able to call on the force unimpeded. And through the dark swirls of Ossus’s stormy sky he drew from it a bolt of lightning, with all the power of the real thing toward the earth, shooting down between the wookie (@Rexx) and the kaleesh (@Versok). While it was unlikely to kill them, it would burn and strike them with significant electrical energy as the lightning crashed into the ground. And they would have little time to react too, having kept their focus elsewhere until now. None would walk away today without scars, Arek would make certain of that.

With that he would move right, then forward, charging for the Sith at the rear, ignoring the solider (@Luster) for now. Lightsaber held in front of him, he ready to strike. Death held no fear anymore, all he wanted was to know these intruders fell with him. So that Jana wouldn’t die alone.

The form of the apprentice did not move as the attacks reached up to end her life. Her failure to dodge struck Graham as odd that she did not so much as attempt to persevere her own life. But it occurred to him that while he could see two other obvious attacks joining his, it did not mean that the Warden closest to him was standing idle. It was quite possible in fact that he was using his connection to the force to hold her still, if not doing damage of his own. Whatever the case may be the fire, lightning, and blaster bolts struck home and the apprentice dropped, body wreathed in smoke. From Graham's vantage point it was hard to tell exactly what the true cause of her death was, and in all honesty it did not matter. Their target was dead and there was still at least one more powerful opponent to deal with.

As effective as their combined attack had been, Graham had not expected that everyone would focus on the interloper above them. He had thought to keep the apprentice busy with his own fire while the others had dealt with with the Jedi in the mouth of the cave. Though the concussive blast that emanated from him seemed to take a lot out of the older man he was still a threat and and Graham had assumed Kalladrrl and Kano Would press their advantage. Maybe they could sense something about the man's strength through the force that Graham could not using only his physical senses, but they had chosen to attack the apprentice and were rewarded with her death.

But that left them exposed to an attack from the Jedi, winded or not he was still dangerous in Graham's mind. He began to bring the muzzle of his blaster down to reengage the Jedi, hoping against hope he was fast enough to catch the man still off guard. Just then the sky flashed and a brilliant bolt of lightning shot down into their midst, impacting the ground nearer to the two Sith up front. The flash was incredibly bright, and hurt his eyes even behind the photo-reactive lenses of his eye pieces, if it were not for that he might have been temporarily blinded. Blinking away the ghost image of the bolt he saw the Jedi make his move, charging right at Spencer lightsaber forward and ready.

Making a snap decision Graham turned to target the Jedi once more and tightening his finger on the trigger. He unleashed three quick bolts aimed at the Jedi's legs. If he aimed right and if the Jedi was unable to block them then his legs would end up maimed and his charge halted. On the inverse, if the Jedi moved his blade to block the bolts it would be harder to strike at Spencer as quickly.
