The world of Edusa lay not far from the Nez Peron system, and is among the most industrialized planets in the area. If captured, it could play host to a large spacecraft manufacturing venture for both the Sacred Band and the Sith, but there's just one problem; current intelligence cannot pinpoint who the leader of the planet is. Only their associates. Among the most notable of these associates is Ian Obath, a wealthy industry magnate who makes his home on the planet. Find him and extract whatever information you can about Edusa's head of state, then dispose of him.

LOCATION: Edusa.
DIFFICULTY: Moderate.
MISSION TYPE: Non-conflict.
MISSION GOAL
: Locate Ian Obath and, through interrogation, discover the name and location of Edusa's head of state.
MISSION SUB-GOAL: Spare or Kill Ian Obath, it's up to the player.

Any thoughts/ideas on how to approach this before we begin? @Tsoibe @Pernicious

1. Infiltrate Ian's estate
2. Threaten to eat both of his purebred lap dogs if he calls the authorities
3. Eat one of his purebred lap dogs in front of him
4. Tell him to give us the name of Edusa's Head of State or the other one will be eaten as well

If that doesn't work I don't know what will.

Mhm. That was supposed to be more of a joke than anything.

We definitely need to get into his estate somehow, or pull him into a dark alley to begin interrogations.

Haha, I know I was trying to be funny about it.

But yes, we'll need to get him alone so an alley would be acceptable, or we could sneak into his bedroom like sneaky thieves. I have no preference, my character can sneak or not sneak as the situation demands. Plenty potential adversary npcs in either scenario.

Dragging him into an alley is probably the way to go. Maybe on his morning walk to a cafe, away from all the annoying security forces and aggressive businessmen?

From a storyteller's perspective, I am sure that will (and should :) ) be complications to the plan. If everything goes to smoothly, everyone could do it. Aside from that, maybe someone would be willing to NPC for us, mainly - of course - Ian Obath, but also someone like his guard mounting a rescue or local security forces.

Of course. The missions have to be at least a page long to count towards gaining the sector square, so there always has to be complications. :)

I know I said I would post tonight but RL stuff just came up and I won't be on until Sunday night. I am so sorry, especially since this thread just started. If you need to boot me out I will understand.

I do not mind giving you that bit of extra time to make your post. After this weekend, I could use a bit of sleep.

Alright, I know its short but I'm a little crunched for time. My posts from now on will be of a more appropriate length. Thanks again for working with me on this one guys. This writing community is awesome.

I'm going to back out of the thread. I've been really busy with school and work lately, plus my computer isn't being dependable. Also, I can't stand writing as Blake. I'll be archiving him after this thread. I'm sorry for all the trouble I've caused.

@Kareem Tyriani Just so you know, missions have to be at least a full page in length to be considered complete. So we can't get the answers out of him right away, throw in an npc interruption at some point, just a few little things so we at least get to the 20 posts mark for the thread as a whole. Wasn't sure if you knew that or not, so I just wanted to throw it out there. :)
