OOC Thread: Open Event Nal Hutta Saving some Evocii

Hi. just wanna start this to keep the chat free on discord. Want to poll the participants real quick on how we are playing out this cPVP thread.

For my part I was invited to a 3 woman mission, its posted and I see its a OPEN event. Faded Truth was kind enough to tell me with it being tagged that way is that it means cPVP. I later saw Fey edited in the no death and stuff thing. [ ty ] Sabrina and I posted at the same time! LOL

anyway. so I am seeing this city, looking at the picture and stuff, with the six guards that Killa Ree/"Nikka" detected and Sabrina is seeing this much larger scenario.

I've not really got the energy for a full scale war and may bail on you.

At any rate, since this is formal cPVP it will be nice for you guys to have a place to discuss things and poke people to post their turn already !!

let me know which scenario we are doing and get back to me!

I am happy to say we are elsewhere, but I read an impenetrable city wall.
Those thing need people to man them, or 25 credit ladder is all you need.
Though I will edit if I got this wrong.

well my thing is this. all the npcs that suddenly manifested. Shoot I left my npcs at home save one guy guarding my ship. I enter the post thinking there are 6 guards and at most 3 PCs to rp against and suddenly its sith officers and quite a bit larger scale. I didn't even bring my fighter jet! I think facing off against 3 PCs is quite a bit more of a challenge than a 25 cred ladder... especially when I didn't even realize it was an open thread until this afternoon when I sat down to read the mission.

anyway, I got 2 pvps already going on and a ton of event threads to get done in 19 days? I am sure if you guys wanna go big it will be a great time. It's just more work than I have energy for at the moment. it requires a different mental focus. nobody did anything wrong. It's just not what I thought it was.

Yes but I might be far far away, and most you need to worry about is patrols. I doubt I would even come down, unless it looked more than a small scale ambush.

Ahhh hello friends. I made the post open when I OP’ed it I made it open to other GA characters who wished to operate in the event.

That being said, I truly thought only other GA characters would think of joining since it is a Alliance thread plot. I’m not severely against PVP, just didn’t plan on it for this thread. I was aiming for more of a touch and go situation.

Also, I was writing it more as a smaller city with a small put together at last minute type blockade, as well as the trio were standing OUTSIDE of a random building discussing their tactics, not inside. Sorry for any confusion in my writing!

well I never wrote hard numbers, or my actual local. So I am in another settlement, and I get a call to come over when trouble starts, with how many people you think is appropriate. Though I don't expect much of fight, as it is death/capture disabled

I think the issue is that since it was a GA prompt she didn't realize that OPEN meant to everyone outside the faction too? That it was meant to be more an OPEN/GA only and not deal with pvp at all. Putting it into the DICE area for DC.

please correct me if I am wrong!

I’m sorry for the confusion! I 100% should have specified that it was open for GA members as an event thread and not for pvp. I can change the tags and no harm no foulv

No worries, I chalk it up as easy credits for me. Also I am other side of planet

You get more faction credits for a cPvP than an Ask/Dice thread, so an Open Thread invites cPvP. Currently, this would be a 3v3 with the Alliance on one side and the Empire/Red Skulls on the other.

Okay, new plan. We can do a small pvp, but I’m gonna keep death disabled and kayenta is gonna drop out. To keep it even, I’m pulling in @Rimrald to help out GA. So it will be even for @Killa Ree and myself. Is that all okay with you guys?

Sounds good to me, cinematic PvPs are death and captured disabled but you don’t need to specify, the lack of PvP tag next to Open indicates that already.
