My, would you look at that.. should I ask him if he sleeps on his belly?

"Well, the scarf and the bikini I am planning to wear today.." and then added with a mischievous smile and a no less twinkle in her eyes, while moving to the direction of the grill, intending to grab herself a plate "unless someone hovers by and succeeds in talking me.. out of it"

On his side. Like a bear, he growled a devious grin to the thought, practically reading her mind as he read her eyes. Suave. One side of his mouth pitching up tent, while the other pursed with pleasure.

"Oh," he squeaked. His brows squeezed tight and a fist came up over his mouth, begging for mercy at the sight of the troublesome, the treacherous, the tormenting tugging scarf. The way she modeled herself after his fantasies was exquisite. Not too fast, take your time, he coached from within the theatre of his mind; blindly reaching for more popcorn. It was somewhere over here... Forget it! My eyes aren't leaving this screen. You can't make me!

He hung on her every word. Then she dropped the proverbial key to any door and walked away. And he watched the sultry sway of her gate, baiting his bite. His eyes turned in the light, favoring the shadows that wolves craved. He licked his fangs and thanked nature for this meal.

"You're not gettin' away little rabbit."

Then he was off in his hover chair, gliding in behind her. The stupid chair didn't move very fast, but it gave him time enough to pick up and reassemble the burger in his lap; mostly. He sailed up along side her. One hand, squeezed a burger's buns to his lips. The other bent a genteel, back of the hand, grazing stroke of her scarf and subsequent hip.

"Great day for a swim. Might be some predators about."

He followed her back down the line, retracing his ...steps? for the third time. Draped over his plastic ornament, a Caesar daintily feasting on his grapes, Cappi looked around for where he might guide her to park her little bikini bottom once she'd served up her plate.

"Is that white I see?" He remarked on her bikini, still toying with her scarf; the flank of his finger barely jousting with her posterior. "They say white is associated with innocence and purity. Black symbolizing elegance and mystery. Interesting choice of layering. What that says about your inner psyche, white on the inside and black on the outside. I wonder..."

Regular, strong strokes with her arms. Water pushed laterally. Hands cupped like soup spoons. Breathing-…! Gotten to this point of her usual swimming mantra, Zee’s thoughts started spinning round and round. She couldn’t…she couldn’t breathe!

Something pushed her to the surface, and not all of the air on Kothlis felt enough to sate her frantic gasps. However, the first words from the boy shed ‘saved’ made her want to sink back to the bottom of the ocean. Her cheeks burned green with embarrassment. Of course it had been a Jedi thing. A wave washed over her, and she swallowed a mouthful of water. Coughs shook her body. Who needed breathing, after all? Overrated.

‘Is there a way you could teach me that trick?’ Zee wanted to ask him as she looked in his eyes. ‘In about let’s say ten seconds? No? Sure?’ Because right now the girl just wished to disappear and be alone with her shame. But all she managed between fits of coughing were presentations:

“Zee…”

She’d swam all the way there, and was fairly confident in her capacity to swim back. However, perhaps rightfully, Jaleer and the Grill Overseer Lifeguard did not give her much of a choice. They might have been right. She stumbled on the shore, bending over and covering her mouth as if on the point of puking. Her shoulders shook with gasps and coughs, and then a small silver fish was expectorated into her palm and jumped back into the water. After which she felt much better. The girl jumped on one foot, massaging her left ankle. In the crowd she glimpsed Kade’s gold-striped fur, and waved widely. From their class together, the Kushari probably knew better than the most how clueless the Zelosian girl could be. Somebody suggested getting food, and the delicious smells tingling her nostrils tended to agree.

“He wasn’t actually drowning. I hit my ankle on his head.” Zee explained to the man in her front, with an innocent shrug. She still remembered the strange burning in her lungs, but now it was simply a strange memory rather than a frightening one. Her mind had that capacity. “It’s boring when you have to pretend to care about people just because they’re dead,” Zee added seriously.

She would go very far in order to avoid boredom.

Means, motive and opportunity. Now piece them together, detective.

Kade gave Zee a wave, he knew how clueless she could be but also how much of an innocent wonder she carried with herself. He stuck out like a shark in a fishtank and she stood out like a tree in a cactus field. Both of them strange aliens amidst these humans and near humans it was almost unnerving. Well, at least nobody was sneezing violently from Cat Allergies or complaining of fur being shed everywhere. Unless someone was wearing black in which case instinct would tell him to shed all over it!

He winced as some oil or fat from the burger patties splashed onto his fur, more reaction than actual pain coming in. Oil was gross as it was though and moved his furry butt away from the grill. Tail twitching slowly about it. Zee's comment caught him offguard about the caring for people and he just tilts his head. Watching other reactions to gauge something appropriate for himself.

Jaleer's face lit up like a candle when the grandmaster came and help, 'could once when meeting the head of the freaking order could he not look like a complete idiot' the young Jedi said loudly in his own head. Of course that was when the other him decided it was a good time to start talking, thankfully the other him only spoke in Jaleer's head.

"You really are a fool." The other him said again in its cold empty voice, Jaleer only rolled his eyes in response thankfully his other personality remained quiet after that, hoping no one would be able to pick up on the fact that the sage was a victim of multi-personality disordered.

"I am sorry master Novan, it was my mistake Zee here was only trying to help." Jaleer said once they were out of the water, still embarrassed and anyone that looked at him would see the sage was blushing.

Jaleer hoped that Master Novan would go back to grilling since the thought that the sage was once again making problems for the grandmaster hurt hit, but seeing that Zee was rubbing her foot, the healer thought maybe she had hurt it. Though he would have liked to go and hang out with Khivas once the healer was sure the foot wasn't bruised or anything than would the sage go and eat something.

"Zee is your foot alright?" Though Jaleer wouldn't respond to the not caring about dead people comment since it brought up old wounds and the sage rather not get into that at the moment when everyone was trying to have fun.

Dawn had nothing against someone showing his affection by touching unproblematic areas and would use a gentle push with her willpower if his hand wandered into areas that where not... proper. There were children present after all. (No, Dawn feels quite adult with her eighteen years, thank you very much)

The mention of being a rabbit made her smile a little on the inside, considering she did actually have a hair circlet with fake bunny ears that used sensors to make the ears move according to the mood of the wearer somewhere in her many coffins. "If anything, I would be a Fox, and chasing me too much would give you the opposite result than you may expect" she only hoped that the underlying message that flirting was her interest more so than jumping into bed with everyone bringing a pickup line, no matter how good it was, would arrive. Dawn was not a fan of one-night-stands, even if there were a number of them in the past. But each of them knew what to expect and how to handle this, none of them so far revealed themselves as too proprietorial. And although this one was sexy enough to put in into the league of the possible one-nighter, she knew better than to give in that easily. He would have to prove that he was mature enough to handle a one night stand as well as the aftermath.

Looking at the water upon the next notion, she saw a girl diving into the water and smiled back at hoverboy "I think the land does have enough predatorial inhabitants, I don't need to add water environment to that." well, to be totally honest, this was a beach bikini that would go pretty transparent when wet, hence the scarf. But that was not a fact she would tell anyone on her own accord.

Then, he was trying to get a mental grip of her mentality, which was a little bit daunting considering her past and development since then, but thought about it for a second, since he seemed to have a deeper character than she anticipated at first. Big plus, a handsome guy with something solid between the ears. "I'm not that innocent on the inside" she assured him "But I am working to redeem for my past. That does not mean I am not willing to get dirty for the greater.." and then the girl who caused such a commotion almost surfaced. Almost. Something that never was a good sign. Before she could excuse herself to hoverboy, she was already on the move to help. Not because it would look good, but more because something needed help and she was able to do so. When she was halfway down the beach, she was easily outdistanced by the Grand Master, who dove into the water faster and with the moves of a profi diver. She stopped short on the beach and watched the events unfolding and saw a third person surfacing. Wasn't that the guy who bombed himself into the water? How could she not have noticed the lack of re-surfacing him? But then it occurred to her.. he was not in distress, hence she did not notice anything. With a smile, she watched the other girl who was capable of swimming but our of energy by apparently trying to drag the other one out of the water. She also readied herself to use her limited ability of telekinesis to help the girl stay over water, but refused to do so until she was really in distress. That was due to two reasons: First of, she would not want to help someone who does not need it, because imposing help on someone who does not need it may be seen as impolite and the second was that most people needed some level of stress to improve themselves. Dawn was not willing to take either from the girl.

When the brave padawan who was undoubtedly only willing to do good was back onto the beach, she looked at hoverboy with her best 'follow me' look and approached Zee and offered her a friendly smile "Hey there, I am Dawn. That was quite a brave thing you did there."

The Padawans all started to descend upon Jaleer and Zee, and noting first that they were both alright, Larik took his leave. There was a lot of excitement and friendliness and energy, and while Larik appreciated that, he suddenly felt very... old. The Corellian headed back over to the grill, but Cotan had already taken it over. The Jedi Padawan was one of Larik's students during the exile on Arbra, and seeing the young Nabooan again made him smile.

"Taken over me, Cotan? I appreciate it." he said, giving the man a smile. "You have rightful claim to the spatula now, though, I won't challenge you for it." The man jokingly raised his hands in surrender, taking a few steps back to show that the young man had it well under control.

Turning on his heels, Larik surveyed the "party." Originally Larik was just grilling for anyone who might stop by, but it had turned into quite an event. The Corellian was glad to see so many Jedi be able to be loose and carefree, even if it was just for an hour or two. The path ahead of the Order was a difficult one, and just as difficult for these Jedi assembled here as it would be for the Grand Master. Death and destruction were the only things that came from the Sith, and their fight to free the galaxy from their rule would be no exception.

The man shook the thoughts from his mind, smiling again. Those were thoughts for another time. Someone threw a small, floating disk over the Corellian's head, and the man used the Force to jump up and snag it a half dozen feet above his head. Landing, he smiled at the Padawan it had been destined for, giving the Gungan a small wink. He then flicked it back towards the the original thrower, perfectly poised so the sentient would have to jump to catch it.

Cappy coyly masticated with a mouthful of veggie burger and a busy tongue searching his teeth, hiding a sly grin. He eyed the mess of a burger, deciding how to attack it with his next bite; thinking the same for this little fox. He considered her warning irreverently. Knew how the game was played. He peeked down at her feet and a lascivious grin curled as he licked his chops. His silence and avoiding watchfulness spoke for him, however. Her words having given him enough of a finger wag to stall the voracity of his advances. Still. He bit his lip, interpreting her next words to mean exactly the opposite of her previous warning.

But then she took off towards the ocean. His head slowly panned right, following her trajectory. But he just sat there, mouth finding it difficult to reach out to the side for a blind bite of the suspended burger in hand as his eyes stayed glued in the other direction. He seemed completely disinterested in the commotion in the water. In fact all other figures were blurry outside of a dancing black scarf swaying to and fro, a bit of white winking back at him.

Then his eyes focused in on her 'follow me' look and he shifted higher in his seat like a puppy released from command, a half-naked puppy, gulping down the morsel and using the back of his hand to maneuver the hover chair without getting grease on the panel. He casually hovered across the field, well under a spinning disk, and eventually pulled up along side Dawn; just in time to hear her name spoken. Ah. Tally one for the Tremie.

"An I'm Cappi," he chimed in after her, greeting Zee. Waving a half eaten burger as a hi. Thin-lipped smile, pinching his dimples tight. Brows lifted. Eyes squinted. Signature Cappi face.

"You ever need help gettin' those cookies off the top shelf, you don't hesitate to ask."

Cappi was being facetious of course. Even a little condescending, veiled in light-hearted banter. To point out the fact that Zee was short. He was not attracted to her = she was not interesting. But he could be cordial and carry on until he could get Dawn alone again.

Zee ran a few steps away and crouched down in the shadow of a palm tree. She returned in a similar hurry, holding something white between her thumb and forefinger. Zee stuck it in Jaleer’s face. It was a miniature flower, smaller than her thumbnail, with a wiry stem and the rough, paper-like petals of an inhabitant of the sands. Unimpressive by any means.

“I forgot my paper.” She explained. “The one with Polite Things To Say. But flowers are appropriate in a lot of cultures, aren’t they?” Her tone was simple, direct, clueless. She uttered the capitals as if nailing the words in place. Some may have found it offensive. Without her paper, she was truly at a loss whether to thank or apologize, or shout a ‘Wooo hwa hwa?!’ in his ear (Shyriiwook for ‘Nice weather, eh?’). She’d read that flowers tended to be appreciated among a lot of species, because they were rarer than plain vegetation. Rare things were valuable. Zee shook her head, glancing around as if she saw everybody for the first time. For many of them, this was the case. People left, people came.

Now, sentient beings weren’t rare at all.

Her heart started to twitch in mild panic. She wasn’t used to being the center of attention, and it felt like being stabbed with multiple swords at once. In instances like this, a magician would cover himself with a velvet cape and vanish. A switch of nerves clicked inside her brain. For the briefest of moments, Zee would seem to slip out of the focus of one’s eyes.

Only for a trice.

With difficulty, she tried to focus on what was being spoken. There was a girl with hair like a waterfall of cinnamon, calling her ‘brave’. Zee mused over the word, before replying:

“No.” Pause. “I just wasn’t aware that Jedi don’t need to breathe.” Pause. “Or were you stochastic…I mean sarsta-sarcastic?” Sarcasm and teasing were a black box for her. Confused, she tugged on a strand of hair still sticky with salt.

And then somebody else…A young man in a hover chair. Was he unable to walk, Zee wondered, or did he just have a vendetta against sand? The girl’s head slowly rotated to the left, then to the right, before looking back at him.

“I don’t see any cookies.” She rhetorically pointed out. “You must have far better eyes than me, as I am astonishingly bad at such Jedi tricks.” Pause. “That’s impressive.” She nodded.

Zee would have had difficulty seeing a figure of speech even if had crawled out of the sea and bit her in the ass.

"What else do you expect of me, Larik?" Cotan asked, before flipping one burger on its side to make sure it'd get cooked, rather than burning on one side and remaining partially raw on the other. That would be sacrilegious to the gods of food. Then he rolled his eyes, after watching Larik jump in the middle of a game of catch that two Padawans were having.

"How about you take a burger, rather than interrupting people's games? You ought to eat too, y'know."

Jaleer was surprised to see Dawn though the fact that Cappi was also here shocked the young man, though now that the situation has gotten a lot of peoples attention the young sage thanked the force that Master Novan had left. Not that the young sage had anything against the leader of the Jedi it was just that the young man hated looking like the fool in front of Master Novan, sadly this wasn't the first time but now Jaleer's attention was directed to the small group that seemed to be forming around them. Though the young man wanted to hang out with Khivas, it would be impolite to just leave Dawn, Cappi and Zee here the young sage decided to hang out with them.

When Zee just started running away the young sage frowned, confused as to why the young Jedi had just ran off but when she returned with a small flower the young sage couldn't hold back a big goofy smile. Though it was right in his face and the girl seemed to be talking weird but it wasn't like he was normal either, gentle grabbing the flower the young man was born on the dry planet of Ryloth and flowers were not just rare to him but something special an beautiful. Gentle grabbing the small flower the young man took a moment to smell it, memories of the time the Twi'lek man had given flowers to his own mother after years of being alone his mother slowly fell in love with the man. The man had given his mother flowers every time he could which wasn't often but it was a sign of his love for her, in the village giving a flower to someone was basically asking for their hand in marriage an that idea was kind of stuck in Jaleers head.

Though the young girl didn't seem to know about interacting with people, the sage smile got bigger if that was possible and placing the small flower on his left ear where his blonde hair lay over it. Almost like it was protecting the small flower, Jaleer knew it might not be manly but he felt that this was the nice thing to do besides its not like many among the Jedi would make fun of him because of the flower.

"Thank you and yes flowers are appropriate in most cultures, this means a lot to me and as a sign of my gratitude I will stay by your side to help you if need me." Taking a deep bow to the young girl something his mother told him to do saying it was nice or something like that.

Placing a hand on the girls shoulders when she began to talk to Dawn, since the sage could feel that Zee was uneasy and having a difficult time focusing. Hoping that Zee could feel that Jaleer was attempting to calm her by placing a hand on her shoulder and by emitting a calm aura.

"Hey maybe we should all grab something to eat, besides you Cappi seeing as you already have that burger. Than we can go and find a nice place to sit down and talk." Though Jaleer didn't mean to be rude but he was feeling protective over the Zee and knowing the joking way of Cappi was afraid Zee would take it the wrong way.

When the girl answered “No. I just wasn't aware that Jedi don't need to breathe. Or were you stochastic…I mean sarsta-sarcastic?” with the pauses, Dawn who was leaning her hands on her knees just looked at her with her mouth slightly open. Then she blinked a few times. Then she raised to stand tall. Deciding that this girl was either not the brightest candle in the candlestand or a near-human species, she simply opted for the latter. Nevertheless, as emotions were not the easiest to her, she decided to go the scientific approach. Good think she learned what they call 'nerd speak' some time ago.

"I assure you, sarcasm was not applied. It was an expression of felicitation and respect. Jedi are not something else than an exemplar of the normal species, they just have additive abilities due to their connection to the Force. And thus each of them usually follow the same principle, which includes photosynthesis, alimentary reprocessing and digestion as well as breathing. But as Jedi are sensitive to the force, some are able to slow down their metabolism so far as that it seems they do not breathe from the outside. A technique... at this point she reached out in her mind, her eyes would look for anyone who would be looking through the force like her eyes were surrounded by pink butterfly-shaped energy "even you could learn. It's not your fault that some certain dork..." and her midnight blue eyes locked at Jaleer now with a dangerous glint and an expression not unlike a mother looking at her son while telling him off for misbehave "Decided to train this technique under proper supervision and without telling anyone. If it not would have been you, someone else most probably would have dived after him, since if you lose focus you could surely very easily" her voice now got a clear hint of disapproval "Drown miserably and thus make a hard hit on your friends emotions."

"Ah, kids." Khivas said as he also felt a little out of place among the teenagers and their happy go lucky hormones, and even though one was technically of a more galactic legal age, she was still a bit too young for the mid-twenties swashbuckler, and frankly even with such downtime and relaxation, Khivas couldn't quite fully unwind, not with a war still being fought elsewhere, you know. "Right then, about that food...Oh hell, Cotan! How ya doing bud!" Khivas said as he saw the Makashi Expert manning the grill in Grandmaster Larik's stead. "Don't mind me, I'm just gonna grab a few things here..." He said, loading his plate up with a collection of steaks, ribs, and a variety of other meat and veggie based sides.

"Right, food, eat, hungry." The Rogue said as he took a spot somewhat close to both Cotan and Larik, and started to dig in. "Y'know," He said between bites, sometimes with a full mouth, sometimes not, "He's right Grandmaster. I may not know you so well but I'm pretty sure you're still human, and being human requires you to eat, right? So come on, grab some food, Cotan and I can manage this firepit for a bit."

"Hullo, Khivas," Cotan replied, continuing to watch the burgers and steaks he was grilling. Then he pursed his lips, thinking for a moment. "Anybody know if we have some sausages here? Those might be good to add on." Then he chuckled for a moment at Khivas' later comment to Larik, after flipping a burger.

"Trust me, he knows both that he should eat, and definitely how to eat. It could be interesting, watching him and Loogo back on Arbra, whenever they decided to have an eating contest."

Kade settled down to eat his collected food, easily enough to feed two humans for a lunch on its own. He was a big boy and needed a good bit of food to sustain his energy needs. The Kushari looked quite happy with himself, some liquor next to him, a plate of food on his lap and the sun shining. People around him spoke and he looked about, seeing who he would intermingle with after eating. He wasn't the most social of beasts but there were times he could do it.

Matt was taking a casual stroll on the beach. It was not often the Padawan dropped by Rebel or Jedi bases, and this was the first time he visited Kothlis, meaning that he was quite unfamiliar with the land. Matt had never been to a proper beach before, something he regretted, considering how pleasant it was. Until he noticed a thin line of smoke rising in the distance. One eyebrow raised, he wondered if it could be an Imperial attack.

Thus, he broke into a sprint, only to arrive to a beach party. At the sight of the Grandmaster in swim shorts and a floral shirt, he choked. This was the sight he'd least expected to ever see, and the Jedi's brain did not know how to react to the image. Matt slowly approached the party-goers, suspicious that this might be a hologram or something. Upon closer inspection, he convinced himself it wasn't, and broke into a grin.

Matt grabbed a burger and sat down in the sand, observing what was perhaps the rarest sight one could hope to gaze upon.

[ @Zee, @Benvenu7, @Taruna - It's been a bit. I'm taking the liberty of continuing our interaction within our little bubble. Please join me? ]

Cappi was quick to notice how Dawn stood up and pivoted right next to his lounging legs with her back to him as she got carried away in her scientific pontificating and pedantic reprimanding of poor Jaleer. Cappi didn't much care for Jaleer's predicament so much as take an interest in Dawn's dominatrix persona. And with her head in the clouds, adorned in a butterfly-tunnel-vision, she'd be distracted enough to be helpless to his thoughtless initiative; an instinctual predatorily playfulness. He'd sweep her off her feet with a smooth twist of his hover chair, his emperor's throne and more of a flat bed than a properly uncomfortable and blocky chair, under-cutting the white plastic into the backs of her calves and knees while she was oblivious and preoccupied so that she'd fall back to sit onto his lap. He'd catch her, with his forearms mostly, and smile.

"Whoa there," he mildly chuckled. "Spread the wealth, miss smarty-pants. I deserve some chastisement too."

Suavely, Cappi endeavored to steer her ire and subsequent emotions back at him; whatever they may be. Good. Bad. They all served the same purpose. Then, in response to Jaleer's proposal, Cappi held his half eaten veggie burger up to Dawn casually. Get food? Check. Sit down? Double check.

"We're good. She can have a bite of mine." A quick inferring glance to Jaleer and back to Dawn, the kid damn well should'a picked up on what he was selling. "You guys go ahead. We'll wait for ya here. Grab us some water, yeah bro?"

This was Jaleer's chance, after all. This very moment was something Cappi'd eluded to in a conversation they'd had a little while back. Of course, Cappi wasn't really much helping Jaleer directly like he'd promised, but things were rolling in that direction if he'd just take the wheel and steer a bit.

OOC: I hope it’s not wrong that I invite someone as well. I imagined that Zee would do it.
@Krajin – Feel free to reply or not, as you wish. I don’t want to force you ^^’

“That’s interesting. I doubt I could learn it, though.” Zee replied to Dawn. She stared at the other girl’s feet as if every fold of sand locked inside it an interesting equation. “I am abysmal as a Force-User.” The word rolled deliciously off her tongue. She chuckled. “A talentless outlier on the talent bell curve. But I can photosynthesize!”

Tell me what other Jedi can do that.

Her worry felt anesthetized, as if the sun hit her in the head with waves of sparkling red champagne. Jaleer’s hand on her shoulder did not feel uncomfortable, like it would have normally done; indeed, it could not. Her reasoning did not seem in the least affected by the strange phenomenon: the girl could only marvel, detachedly, at the blanket of calm wrapping silently around her. The thought oscillated on a string, repeated, glitched, got stuck in unconscious defensive brain structures, and short-circuited in the shape of a discharge of static electricity between her shoulder and the boy’s hand. Disturbingly calm, Zee slowly touched the painful area of her skin with her fingertips.

“I’m sorry. My bad luck. I can’t control it.” She said dreamingly. At Jaleer’s comment about getting food and finding a place to talk, Zee added: “Perhaps somewhere in the shade? I feel a bit…odd.” She pressed the back of her hand on her forehead, and raised her opaque eyes to the sky. “Unless someone is accidentally doing Jedi things. I can’t really tell those things apart!” She shook her head and chuckled.

A Jedi would have sensed the vibrations of the Force. A Force-unaware would have simply felt calm. Caught somewhere in between, and, Zee thought, towards the weaker side, the girl was simply…

Strange.

In the blink of an eye, she’d disappeared. It wasn’t anything as advanced as Force Cloak – at most the flicker of a mind trick. It suggested the eyes to look away for a moment, and by that time, Zee was already three steps away. She liked the idea of getting something to eat. It was simple, direct. Nothing like trying to unknot the meaning out of words. She stumbled on her own feet right through an improvised court, managing to miss a volleyball by the skin of her teeth. Then she reached the queue, drawing a few exasperated groans and friendly pokes through her habit of endless indecisive staring.

She ended up picking a nerf skewer, with various colorful vegetables stuck between the approximately cubic meat pieces, pieces of seared fish, and something which looked like a psychedelic broccoli alien life form. It couldn’t be helped that mathematicians loved fractals. From the drinks section, Zee piled two limes’ worth of slices on her plate, before turning to look for Jaleer and ask whether he needed any help with carrying things. She was happy to see her flower nestling above his ear. It made him easier to see through the crowd.

You may ask, how could one see an insignificant flower easier than a person? But Zee had always been a person of awkward details.

Plants were easy to remember. People, not so much.

“I’ve calculated,” she said, almost shouting to make herself heard through the dense chatter, “and isn’t it unequal?” Mathematician speaking. “If you’re so willing to help me because a small gift, then how could I possibly get even for this help? I’d have to save your life!” She laughed. “But I’m bad at that.”

After this was solved, Zee spoke something about a detour and walked towards a large tiger-like alien gulping down his lunch. They’d met on a cold, harsh planet very different from this one, and hadn’t talked much since then. But extreme conditions have a way of bringing people together. Due to a chronic lack of hands, her only two used for holding food, she used her big toe to poke Kade for attention. Even sitting, the Kushari wasn’t much shorter than Zee standing.

“You’re very geometrical today.” The girl pointed out, her green eyes fleeting over his silky golden stripes. “I hope the warm weather is not inconvenient. I think those people-“ she pointed with her elbow in the vague direction of the rest of the group, “want to…” Her voice lowered. “Chat. Would you like to join?” Zee gulped. Later she would face a planet plagued by a deadly disease without as much as acknowledging that the term ‘dead’ could ever apply to her; but she feared things. “You’re big and I can hide behind you.”

Because what else are friends for?

Kade had happily settled down and enjoyed the peace and quiet, though as he was eating with one hand. The other was held out infront of him and he seemed to be focusing intently on the molecules of air there. Creating small flickers and sparks of flame seemed to excite him as he practised rather briefly. His concentration was broken when he was approached by a woman, the same one he'd met on a rather frosty, frosty planet a bit ago. He'd smile and grab a napkin and clean his muzzle so he wasn't a complete mess, habits and presentation all there.

"Sure I can join in on a chat." He'd smile, noting the strange use of being called geometrical. "Though it would be unwise to hide behind me in a social situation, it'd be better to stand with me. That way you'll be able to get more practice in." He smiled as he gripped the tree next to him and hauled his bulk up to standing.

Jaleer though one of the younger Jedi here was mature enough to understand he was being scolded and should feel bad but the young man didn't want that and decided to not let it affect him staring back at Dawn's midnight eyes with his brown earthy eyes the young sage had a small smile but when Cappi tried to make a move on Dawn. It took a little bit of restraining for the sage not to try and stand up for Dawn knowing both of them the young sage could only hope the two wouldn't start to fight, even if they did the young man was ready for that. But after a moment the young sage realized what was happening and blushed a little at the thought realizing he might actually had to thank the older Jedi later the young man sighed and his smile became more relaxed and calm. Turning to Zee hearing what she said at being talentless the young man smile did not waver though you can see his eyes grow more concerned, hoping to try and make her feel that she isn't talentless the young man thought about a way to convince her otherwise.

Yet it seems she didn't notice the fact he was using the force to help calm her down which was surprising to say the least, until he felt something in his mind being a sage and a bit used to using mind persuade it only took a moment for the sage to fight off the effects but by than he notice Zee walking towards the food. Standing up the young sage used the force to call a cup that seemed to have been abandoned lifting it with the force it only took a moment for the sage to get it filled with water and float to Cappi. The sage was more focused on walking to Zee and once he was behind her watching her head towards the food using the force to move the volleyball away from her the sage acted like a guardian angel while she got to the line and stood behind her kind of hovering over her making sure no one bothered her. Though he was acting like a over protective brother the young man kind of owe her that much so either she likes it or not she got a guardian angel now.

Just grabbing a burger the young man wasn't that hungry, but it seemed Zee didn't like the idea of her owing him though he didn't see it that way considering he was the reason she was hurt and almost died so he had to repay her for that.

"Live usually isn't fair, an I almost got you killed so of course I have to help you out as much as possible besides I really like this flower I might just always have one in my hair." Jaleer said in a serious tone an the thought did cross his mind but the sage knew he could not pull off such a look.

"Besides you just need training that's all I had to train with my mother since birth just to get this far so I am sure you can become a lot better." Jaleer said hoping to encourage her, but it seems his words were wasted as she started walking to Kade a padawan he trained with.

"Hey Kade." Jaleer said knowing the larger padawan hoping to sit down and have a nice conversation.

As the other Jedi spoke of her bad skills, Dawn immediately had a certain red-eyed and tiger striped Jedi-colleague in mind that could help, but her impending offer to hook them up was suddenly interrupted

"Yikes!"

Dawn's attempt to be helpful was gravely undermined as her legs got swept away from below her and she landed in the lap of her possible pillow who just drastically reduced his chances to actually be one.

Nevertheless, this would not reduce his changes to zero, but it seemed that some play rules were in order. All in all a necessary thing, but one that had to be attempted in all due caution.

So she showed him a sultry smile and spoke with a tone in her voice reserved for showing the line in the sand not to be overstepped but also the fact that she was not scolding rather then setting the rules "Okay, sexyboy. Here's the rules: I really like to play with you but you need to accept that I am not to be bound or scooped up like a toy." she underlined the positive aspect of the playing by using her free hand and softly stroke hjm from the neck downwards until far lower then the bellybutton "So... Are you willing to play by the rules or will I have to sleep alone tonight?"
