Entering through the doors to the Oyu'baat, a man in red and black beskar'gam without a helmet took in a big whiff of the cantina atmosphere. This place smelt of sweat and liquor; it was Lyon's kind of place. As he approached the bar, he looked around the cantina and examined its customers. Pretty much all of them were Mandalorian, in their own beskar'gam, decorated with various colors and patterns, each symbolizing the verd that wore it.

Once he reached the bar, he nodded to the bartender and ordered a drink. "One Mandallian Narcolethe." He ordered, reaching into his pocket and fishing out a couple of credits, sliding them across the table. The bartender nodded and took the chips and left, appearing in a few moments later with a shot glass of Mandallian Narcolethe, which he sumarily slid to Lyon.

Smiling at the man in acknowledgement, Lyon grabbed the glass with a gloved right hand and took down a sip of the hard liquor, feeling the pleasant burn of the hardy alcahol as it slid down his throat, a good feeling for a war-hardened Mando'ad. Taking a seat at the bar, Lyon sat and contemplated his position as aliit'alor and the war as he continued to drink and new faces showed up in the bar.

Deciding that since he was in the area he would stop by the Oyu'baat and see about the goings on of the war and maybe pick up a job if they had anything paying well. Greeting each Mando'ade he passed with a subtle nod, not that there would of been a smile had he not wore his helmet. Making his way into the cantina as he removed his helmet and cradled it under one arm, he glanced around seeing the other Mandalorians each in their beskar'gam laughing at some joke or speaking seriously over some business. Trotting along behind him was Jorbe the Strill. He gave a cursory scent of the air before glancing back to Dex as if to say it was okay to continue.

Reaching the bar, he gave a small nod to the bartender who glanced down at Jorbe before seeing the "liberated" lightsaber on Dex's belt. "Jetii or Darjetii?" was all he asked Dex giving a nod to the saber on his belt. "One saber jockey is the same as any other, Ner vod." replied Dex before nodding at a bottle of tihaar sitting at the display of liquor. "Can I get a glass of tihaar?" asked the man as he felt the nudge of Jorbe's head against his thigh plate giving him a look that almost seemed to say he drank too much of the stuff. "One glass won't kill me, Jor'ika."

Nodding his thanks to the bartender as the glass was filled, he dropped a few credits on the bar and turned to find a table, seeing a face that looked familiar and for good reason. It was Lyon Skirata, the Aliit'alor of his clan. Walking over to the table as his boots gave a heavy thud with each step, he stopped in front of the man. Jorbe gave the man a curious glance before taking a seat and leaning against Dex's leg. "Su'cuy gar, ner vod." greeted Dex before motioning to the empty seat. "May I join you?" asked the man politely. He was in one of more civilized moods this particular day and only a complete di'kut showed his clan leader any disrespect.

Lyom smiled at the new arrival and gestured to the empty seat across him with his shot glass. "Su'cuy, tat. Be my guest." Leaning back in his seat, Lyon looked over the Mando'ad verd. He didn't look too familiar, but he seemed to recognize the Skirata aliit'alor. Taking down another swig of the liquor, Lyon spoke to the man. "What's your name, tat?" He asked, raising an eyebrow to the man.

Nodding his thanks as he pulled the seat back and settled himself, setting his buy'ce on the ground next to him. Jorbe gave a small grunt as he settled himself at Dex's feet. Taking a small drink of the tihaar, Dex basked in the sweet scent of the liquor. "Thank you. I am Dex Skirata." replied Dex with a nod making sure the aliit'alor knew he was of his clan.

Lyon smiled as he nodded to the young Mando'a. "Well Dex, its good to have you as an aliit tat. I guess you already know me, though." Finishing off his small glass of Narcolethe, he raised his glass to the bartender, who nodded in response and sent a assistant of his to Lyon's table, with a glass of Mandallian in his hands. The young bartender's assistant poured the aliit'alor another shot of the hardy liquor, and he sumarily took another sip, feeling the burn as it went down his throat. "So Dex, you fresh from the Core or planning on heading there soon enough?"

Raising his glass to Lyon in thanks for his compliment, he nodded. "Yes, Aliit'alor. I know who you are. They say the clan has not flourished as it is now since the days of Kal Skirata and his clone sons." replied the man before he took a sip of the tihaar. Jorbe made a whine as his head appeared over the table, gazing intently between Dex and Lyon. "But where are my manners? This is my companion, Jorbe." introduced Dex as he rubbed an armored hand behind the Strill's head. He thought about how to answer the question he had just been asked. After the Mandalorian Civil War, he disappeared to hunt down a Jedi that had killed many of his fellow clan members.

"I should be heading out soon enough. Word going around is that we're going to spearhead the assault on Coruscant. Mandalor will need every verd for that." answered Dex with a chuckle. "I'm sure they're going to need every medic and commando at the front. Thankfully I'm both."

Lyon leered over the table to get a look at the strill. The aliit'alor never had much of a liking for animals. There had been a few amongst his town, but most were violent creatures that snarled and even bit him a few times. The Mando'ad smiled at the creature as he, yet again, took down another sip of his Narcolethe. "I heard there was some action over Recopia recently, but I do plan on heading out to Coruscant if the Mand'alor needs more verds."

The hardened soldier was no stranger to fighting the Alliance, it was only the Jedi who he had a problem with fighting. Not because of anything physical, but rather, something emotional inside that pulled on his conscience when battling the Force-Users. "I also hear things aren't going so well for the Alliance on Kuat. Word is an Alliance soldier shot a Kuati Protestor, and now things are boiling there. Them politicians just can't seem to get anything right nowadays, can they?"

Taking a drink of the tihaar, he listened to Lyon speak. "I will admittedly claim ignorance of the goings on regarding the war. I hear rumors, though as we both know. Rumors have a nasty habit of putting men in a position to be killed." replied the man in regards to Recopia. Jorbe stared back at Lyon before his mouth split in a yawn revealing the rows of teeth that were capable of splitting through bone as though it were nothing.

"What can you expect from those di'kute? They get jumpy when the masses start to yell. I've tried to stay out of politics for that reason." added Dex with another sip of tihaar. Shrugging as he thought about it. "Has Mand'alor rallied the Aliit?"

Lyon shook his head. "The Recopia battle is no rumor. I'm not exactly sure what happened, because I wasn't there, but I recall it ended in a draw. And after the battle, I found out the Imps damn near got the smuggler that blew up a shipyard over Lianna and pillaged a labor camp there. Nasty business."

The aliit'alor raised his glass and swished the drink around in its small glass before taking another gulp, finishing it off. "Not yet, but I'm going to call for all commandos to come with me to the Core. Our Commandos are the best of the Clans, next to Aliit Vencu's SuperCommandos. Same goes for our Combat Medics." Lyon stated. He was going to help his people take Coruscant, he just hoped he didn't come across any Jedi there.

"Sounds like I missed quite the fight. Sadly I was preoccupied. Personal business to avenge a fallen vod." replied Dex as he pulled the saber from his belt and held it up to see before returning it. Dex wasn't much of a talker, though he was finding it rather simple to speak to the Aliit'alor. Matching Lyon's action by finishing his own drink as well, he set the glass on the table and idly ran his index finger around the rim of the glass. "We've trained hard since the beginning of Aliit Skirata. To do otherwise would bring shame to the actions of Kal and his sons." spoke the Mando'ad showing his true dedication to his aliit.

Lyon eyed the lightsaber with a frown on his face. Though they weren't Mandalorians, the Jedi were great combatants, and it would take some skill to take the lightsaber of any Jedi but a Padawan. Lyon put the empty Narcolethe shot glass on the table, anc covered his mouth with a fist as he cleared his throat. "Jatnese be te jatnese. I take it you'll be accompanying me to Coruscant, then?" Lyon asked the younger Dex. He was curious about this Mando'ad. He was a large-built verd, and he had a lightsaber as a trophy, so Lyon was curious to know more about his tat.

Noting the frown at the sight of the lightsaber, Dex could only begin to wonder what had happened to cause such an expression to appear on the man's face. "Darasuum kote, Aliit'alor. I wouldn't miss the opportunity to fight beside the Aliit'alor of Aliit Skirata for anything." replied the man as the corners of his mouth lifted for a split second. "Do we know when we will depart?" asked Dex with genuine enthusiasm.

The elder Mando'ad shook his head. "Not at the moment, tat. But when the Mand'alor calls, I'll be sure to answer." Lyon stated as he motioned towards the bartender, who smirked and brought him another shot glass of Narcolethe, and left the bottle at the table, knowing Lyon would probably go through a lot of it. "Awful generous of him, wouldn't you say?" He asked Dex with a smile, before he put down another sip of the tough-as-Mando'ad drink.

Once again the corners of his mouth lifted for a split second. "Very generous." replied Dex as he made a motion for another round of tihaar. The bartender made his way over with the bottle pouring another shot in the glass before glancing at Dex. "Do you want the bottle, ner vod? It's not often we get a verd that slays jetiise"

Dex nodded his thanks to the bartender as he handed him a few credits to pay for the bottle as well as Lyon's. "Kyramud be jetiise or not. I still pay for my drinks. I am but a man." Dex said to the bartender as he nodded his thanks once again. The bartender glanced down in his hand as his eyes widened. "This is more than it cost to make both bottles and drink within them." protested the mando before seeing the look Dex was giving him. "I know how much I gave you, vod. Just remember to use it toward the first rounds for Aliit Skirata when we return victorious." said the man with a chuckle as he scratched behind Jorbe's ear receiving a grumble of contentment from the beast.

The bartender disappeared about his business mumbling something about the Skirata clan being as generous as they were deadly. Turning his gaze back to Lyon as he took a sip from his glass. I've actually been meaning to invest in a personal ship. Would you care to go with me to look for one? I was hoping MandalMotors might have some of those nice looking Aggressor fighters. But I would settle for a Kom'rk if they have one." Dex decided to say to the older Mando'ad.

Lyon grunted for a moment as he swung himself up and out of his chair, getting up and stretching, relieved as his bones popped. "I don't mind one bit. Besides, drinking is just as fun outside of the cantina as it is within." The aliit'alor stated, jokingly, as he swooped up the bottle of Mandallian Narcolethe. Seeing that the top was already off, he gently raised the bottle, taking down a small bit of the thick, burning liquor.

Standing from the table as he rolled his shoulders, he stooped down to grab his buy'ce which was clipped on his belt at the small of his back. "I couldn't agree more. I'll admit, I prefer to buy from our people. They don't attempt to blow smoke up our shebs as often as aruetiise do. The craftsmanship is much better as well. Though I will admit that the Verpines know how to make a rifle if ever I saw one." said the young verd with admiration in his tone. Jorbe watched intently as he saw his master getting ready to leave before hopping upon six legs in a mass of skin and drool. It was almost comical if not for the fact that the Strill could tear through flesh as bone with ease. Grabbing his bottle of tihaar from the table, he pulled the stopper from it with his teeth before slipping it into his belt pouch and taking a drink from the bottle. The very sweet taste of the berries from the north was noticeable, telling Dex it was a rather expensive bottle.

"I haven't done bounty hunting work in a long while. Not since I was with a merc group operating in the outer rim. Still, I thought it would be a good idea to get something with holding cells within it."

Motioning for the two to leave, Lyon led Dex out of the cantina, out into the dark streets of Keldabe, a sight to see during the nighttime on Mandalore. "MandalMotors has some of the more durable starships I've seen, however, most manufacturers have their own virtues." As the two started walking down the street, Lyon continued, leaving his buy'ce underneath his left arm, holding it in place. "Mon Calamari-Selkath Shipyards, for example. Those fish-people may not be Mando'ade, but their shields are the best I've ever seen, even better than most of MandalMotors products. SoroSuub may not have the shields of the Mon Cala or the armor of MandalMotors, but their ships are very versatile."

Lyon raised up the bottle of Mandallian Narcolethe, and took down another swig, feeling the burn as it went down his throat. "Of course, I don't own a ship at the moment. I'm still trying to get enough credits to purchase one."

Listening to the Aliit'alor with rapt attention, he nodded as each point was made. "I'll trust good old fashioned armor and some rather large cannons over versatility any day. The Mon Cal may be able to make fancy shields, but I don't like the idea of trusting an invisible barrier between me and the cold vacuum of space. I like to know there is something heavy between me and the outside. To be honest. I don't think my beskar'gams seals are rated to much more than a cold wind. Something I should probably get checked out." replied the young mando with shrug. He suddenly felt complacent for not having added the proper modifications to his armor. Suddenly the thought that he had little credits at the moment to even purchase the frame of a swoop bike had he wanted to.

"I suddenly realize I'm in the same position. I have less credits than I thought I did. Perhaps I should look into getting some decent seals for my beskar. Never know what may happen in the future. Plus a warrior that is unprepared is often dead." stated Dex as he took a drink from his bottle of tihaar and motioned to the armor smith nearby.

Lyon looked over to the armorsmith shop and smirked. "Beskar'gam seals shouldn't cost too much, but if its more than you have I don't mind helping a tat out. As you said, a warrior unprepared is often dead." As a weaponsmith himself, Lyon primarily worked with blasters and blades and the like, but he did work on his own beskar'gam often to make sure it was in tip-top shape. The red and black armor may have a little wear on it, but Lyon checked and made sure the thing didn't have any big, glaring integrity weaknesses, and would need to give the armor a thorough look before he left for Coruscant.

"It's clear we're both in need of credits. How about we check out the Bounty Listing at the Oyu'baat and see if we can't arrange to make some credits?" Lyon suggested. While he did need some more credits, he really wanted to see Dex in combat. He was of a heavier build than Lyon, but that could mean a lot, but it could mean nothing. After all, he managed pretty well fighting Yuri Sharp in the Arena on Tatooine, and he is much larger than Dex.

Suddenly finding a grin at the thought of joining the Aliit'alor on a hunt, he took a swig of tihaar. "Kandosii, Lyon!" exclaimed the Mando warrior drawing a few glances from passing Verd, some with buy'ce and some without. All of them seemed to grin at the joyful exclamation from the warrior. He didn't care what was said about him, though news of a verd bearing a Jedi lightsaber on his belt spread through Keldabe rather quickly it would seem. Jorbe seemed suddenly excited at the change of mood in his master, bouncing about as drool flew from his maw. Realizing that Lyon had offered to help him should he be short on credits, he shook his head. "No need to give credits. The chance to hunt with Skirata's Aliit'alor is more than enough. I'll follow your lead." replied Dex with a grin as he waited for Lyon to lead the way back to the Oyu'baat.
