*The Eclipse sped through hyperspace away from the nightmare planet Dathomir. Falgrim spent much of his time working out. He gave Jade her space but saw that she ate regularly. He told her early on that they were headed to Ord Mantell but after that if she needed to go somewhere else, he'd take her. He didn't know why he liked Jade but he did... strangely enough it wasn't in a sexual manner which shocked him most of all.

Jade spent most of her time in quiet contemplation or meditating, though her companion would say it was more of a type of brooding. When Falgrim was busy elsewhere, she would sneak to the cargo area and practice her katas she began to recall from her former master. His name still eluded her as did much of her past still. Where she had come from now had been answered and she almost wished it hadn't been. Her thoughts often returned to what had happened at Dathomir; yet, she tried not to dwindle upon such thoughts for too long. Going to Dathomir had been a risk all along. Still, it did nothing to bring her closer to why these strange things were happening to her. Neither did her new found memories help her understand who Raviel had been and where he had gone, let alone what he had done to her. Falgrim had not spoken about what had happened at Dathomir either. The two seemed to make a wonderful pair as they ignored the most obvious of subjects.

Finishing with her daily routine, she made her way into the kitchenette and stopped when she saw Falgrim already there. Casting her eyes downward, she moved around him to grab a bottle of water.

*Falgrim sighed and looked to Jade. "Darl'n, we're gonna need to talk sooner or later. I'm sorry if my actions on yer homeworld ruined your homecoming. It wasn't my intention but the best intentions and all that... I don't bother to apologize much at all but I am sorry about that." He nodded and picked up the plate of food and walked to the lounge where the table was.

She made no reply at first shaking her head at his words. He did not understand. She was not upset at him for what had happened at Dathomir. Did he truly believe that she blamed him for what all had happened there? Following him into the lounge, she pulled a chair out and sat down. Clasping her hands around the bottle, she did not meet his gaze, but spoke freely.

"That not home. You not apologize. What happen not your fault," she said as she finally raised her eyes to look at him. "I know little things now." She paused for a time before adding the next. "I sorry for taking you there and putting in danger."

Falgrim smiles, pleased she can talk better. "Well Darl'n it was me that did the piloting so I share some of the blame, and when those fighters attacked we should have cut and run then. Oh well we lived through it so that's the main thing." He smiled at her "Maybe now you'll eat more. You're too skinny."

She ignored the last comment on purpose, but the prior one she could not. Getting that determined look on her face again, she grasped the water bottle a little more tightly.

"Had we left, I not know what I know now. Parts to past now known, but not all. More come in time. Answers still out there. Answers why I kill and recall nothing. Usagi deserve to die. She killed me once. She would kill me again and you."

Meanwhile, on Ord Mantell...

Things were getting crazy here. Controlling a planet on a major trade route was difficult enough without smugglers trying to sneak their way through the baracade Mandalore had put up around the planet. His advisors and generals were going nuts trying to decide what they should do, just talking and talking and talking... and finally, the one they called 'Implacable' had had enough.

"Shut up!"

That was all it took. Immediately, everyone fell silent and looked at their leader. No one could see his facial features behind his tinted visor, but they all knew he wasn't very happy. No one dared turn their attention away, for fear that Mandalore would have them executed immediately. Aryas had learned that the best way to get respect was not by wearing a fancy Mandalore helmet, but fear. Fear and intimidation was all you needed, and everyone would fall in line.

"Everyone, just -- get out of here and let me think."

And with a bit of a hop in their step, everyone double timed it out of the palace room. No one dared disobey Mandalore himself, not that they'd want to; frankly, everyone wanted to get as far away from him as possible right about now.

Alone, with a disturbing silence around, Mandalore was left to ponder. Thoughts flowed through his mind fast; he thought of it all as just another battle, just another victory to be won. Any enemy could be conquered, it was just a matter of tactics. The enemy now were runners, trying to get through his carefully crafted barricade. He knew that much. All there was left to figure out was the right tactic...

She shook her head no at his question. Jade honestly didn't know where to go. The only other piece of information that she had been given was a name, the Massassi. It was so unfamiliar to her and she could recall nothing about it. Jade didn't know if he knew anything about the people, yet he did not seem to know the symbol on the stone she carried as the Jedi had. Perhaps she would run into another Jedi at Ord Mantell. If they could help her out further, she might find a solution to this mystery.

"No. Yet, you know man who can make sword at this place? I want to practice and need proper equipment. I have nothing else to do..."

He could see that the question was sincere, yet when she had a weapon in her hands, she could become dangerous. Would arming her be considered wise?

Falgrim thinks for a while, pondering her request then nodded "Yeah I got a cousin on Ord Mantell that's pretty handy at making things like that." He chuckled "He's the man I'm going to see about that Box I was talking about. Let's hope no one's changed adminstrations since my last trip." He shruged "If so we might still be able to get in. I'd have to check the maildrop to see if the cousins are still on planet or moved to less difficult systems." He grins. "We do that from time to time..."

"I find way to pay back," she said to him as she looked pleased with this set up. It would be such a relief to have a sword in her hands again and not have to practice empty handed. The weight of a weapon changed your whole balance and grip.

"You're family not crazy like mine, no?" she asked. It was her first attempt at a joke with him and the smile that rose on her lips was one he had not seen in a long time. She was beginning to loosen up. Perhaps she wasn't as insane as he first thought her to be.

He rubbed the back of his head "Well... I wouldn't say they're as bad as all that but ya gotta remember at least ninety percent of my family is on the wrong side of the law so we're whatcha call.. 'Cautious.' I've got a few uncles though that are well over the line into nutcase." He grins.

She furrowed her eyebrows at his explaination of how his family was. 'Wrong side of the law' didn't really click in her mind. It was a saying she was unfamiliar with, though she assumed it meant they did not follow any laws.

"They criminals? What they do?" she asked so innocently.

OOC: muhahahaha

Meanwhile, closer to Ord Mantell

The Devastator, Dominic's ship, flew out of hyperspace a few thousand meters away from Ord Mantell. Dominic was there to get a weapon. A modified holdout blaster, and he knew someone living on Ord Mantell who had one. There was a problem however, there was a barracade up around the planet, and from the looks of it, the fleet was Mandalorian. Which meant that this could very well be a Mandalorian planet. Dominc knew this as he powered down the engines, and rose out of the pilots seat to think of a way to get past the barracade without an actual fight. He knew that his granddad's old rival, Jon Nexus, was dying, but Dom knew he had a grandson named Matt. Dom just didn't know what he looked like, as he had never seen him before. But he had to get his hands on that blaster. Dom wished he had an invisibility shield, but knew they didn't make any big enough for ships. So much for that idea. Dom sat down in the main hold, with a bottle of juma juice at his side. He poured himself a drink, sat back in the chair, and pondered the question.

Falgrim couldn't help but chuckle. "Well it's easier to ask what the family didn't do.. I can honestly say none of my family have ever falsely married people nor have they managed to overthrow a galactic republic.. Everything else I'm certain at least one of my family has done at any given time in the last ten generations." He grinned "Mostly we sorta break the smuggling and gunrunning laws any more... I have a few cousins into the counterfeiting racket and at least one Aunt that still heads a few pirates thought."

"What you do? You follow these ways?"

It was then that Jade finally realized that she indeed knew very little about this man. Events had thrown them together and kept their paths together since Nar Shaddaa. There was no one else she trusted more, yet she had no reason for doing so other than past experience alone. It was a little comforting to know that he was used to dealing with criminals, yet he mentioned nothing of persons who were killers...no one like what she was.

Falgrim shrugs "Some of them I do.. Mostly Smuggling and Gunrunning, there's always something that's wanted somewhere that someone else thinks it shouldn't be and another someone who's willing to pay alot to get it there anyway." He smiles "It's alot more dependable then piracy. Tried my hand at that when I was younger, I didn't like the outcome one taffin' bit." He takes a drink of his lum.

Jade seems to consider this for a moment and doesn't speak. He had been at this sort of thing since he was a kid then. It must have been a hard life for him. She wondered what a family such as that would have been like. It was hard for her to even imagine any kind of family really. All she had ever known was training and a master.

"Family close? Or no?" she asked curiously.

Still, after all that Jade had been through, she carried an innocence about her and a hunger for something in life.

"Well, close to an extent, After Mom tried to have Dad spaced they sorta went their seperate ways. I've always been close with my brothers and sisters and cousins though and there's a gracious plenty of all of them. Mom and Dad with each other or not were prolific." He grins.

Onboard the Devastator, Dom had enough. He had thought about it, but still was no closer to finding a way through the Mandalorians, then he had before. That was when his scanners detected something. Dom hurried to the sensor station and saw a ship. It was still a few hours away, but it was definately heading for Ord Mantell. Curious as to how this ship was going to get past the blockade, Dom went to the cockpit, fired up main engines, and headed for the incoming ship.
