Oscamarc's Personal Beskar'gam

Oscamarc's set of personal armor is a vermilion colored Beskar'gam - styled more heavily on the medium armor than the typical heavier styles, though armored as equally to the heavier styles. This is merely a cosmetic choice, however, and is likely for the sake of uniformity within his clan and particularly, his immediate family. The armor itself is clearly designed for a significantly taller and heavier male than average, and would only likely fit someone of Oscamarc's stature.

LEGALITY

As a direct result of its nature, particularly the T-Shaped Visor, and the symbols denoting Mandalorian culture emblazoned upon it, this particular set of armor is more than illegal in Sith Space, though is technically legal outside of these areas, regardless of how others might see it.

INTENT

This is merely a reskin of the Heavy Beskar'gam, and is designed so that I might have a small amount more customization over the armor modifications, and a visual representation.

ADVANCED TECH
Presently, no. This armor currently features no advanced armor modifications or features - however, it goes without saying that this armor would be inaccessible to others due to its personalized nature (without killing Oscamarc and claiming it), and its Mandalorian origins.

Type and Coverage

Type: Heavy Armor

Coverage: (Coverage regions for Light armor is 1-3 regions, Medium is 4-5, Heavy is 6-7)
  • Head: A full coverage duraplast helmet with integrated neck protector and transparisteel t-visor
  • Torso: Solid beskar-alloy plating over bantha hide undersuit, from neck to belt
  • Back: Solid beskar-alloy plating over bantha hide undersuit, from neck to belt
  • Upper Arms: Duraplast pauldrons and elbow protectors
  • Lower Arms: Forearm length gloves with beskar alloy plating
  • Upper Legs: Beskar alloy groin protector and thigh plates
  • Lower Legs: Armored Boots with duraplast shin and toe plating, and knee pads


Functions



Function 1: Jump-Boots
  • This unusual technology- a precursor to rocket boots- is able to propel a person up to 10 meters beyond what a normal person would normally be able to jump, especially when armored. It is not capable of sustained flight, and requires a brief engine cool-down before it can be used again (1 post cool-down).

Function 2: Gription-Boots
  • Gription boots are a catch all term for footwear that contains electromagnets, repulsors, or other tech in the soles and allow for steady movement on ferrous surfaces in microgravity, steep gradients, and even upside down. This functionality must be turned on or off manually by a button or switch.

Function 3: Bola Launcher
  • The gauntlet bola Launcher is a useful addition to a bounty hunters arsenal. Single shot, takes several seconds to reload, and has a max range of 12 meters. A successful hit tangles a foe in a strong durasteel wire to slow down or even capture the target.
