DESCRIPTION​

The basic oxidizer is a facemask with a built-in air filtration system. The mask covers the lower half of the face, and has an air-scrubber system that allows it to keep airborne toxins and pollutants from reaching the mouth and nose of the wearer.

The standard model does not include a storage tank and therefore is only useful in atmospheres that contain some amount of breathable air, and is not intended to protect against chemical weaponry. The energy cell lasts 4 hours when fully charged and takes 1 hour to recharge fully.

To create a generic air filtration mask, not part of a personal armor set or built into a helmet, for use by anyone.

So since this is a worn sort of aspects I would suggest simplifying it and using the "Function template:" that way the oxidization can be added other people's unique armors unless you want it to be exclusively on this piece of tech.
It's a little different from Filter, Rebreather, Life support box.
also I don't know if this is a bit advanced at this point in time but I think it's a good idea but should get moved to Unapproved tech, not generitech. Just report your thread and ask that it get moved to the proper location and the mods will see it.

My thought is that the mask can be a component of anyone's unique armor, but the technology sort of needs to be part of the mask. I will move it to unapproved tech just to be on the safe side though. Thanks for the feedback.

If it's just for breathing in uncomfortable atmospheres and dowsnt really save you from toxins or poisons or whatever, like the little masks from ESB, then I'm fine with it. It's basically a non-armor function quality of life device.

Can you confirm that's the intent @Equinox?

That's exactly right, it's just meant to make inhospitable atmospheres a little easier to deal with.
