Nor'baal Fanth had been looking forward to his meeting, ever since Milo Drast (@vamp) had informed him just as to what it would set in motion. Such was its import, that he had gone to some considerable lengths to ensure that it went smoothly - shedding his normal bathing robes, to sit in his nakedness, as per the traditions of the Hutt people. Reserving the back room of Chuula's Chub House and Cantina, which commanded impressive views of the venues pit-fighting arena, as well as holding room for a sizable podium upon which Nor'baal could reclinein all his splendour, he intendedto appear the very image of a Hutt businessman today.

Why?

For it was what a Jub Jub commanded. His guest (@Logan) would be treated to the full delights of a Hutt business ceremony, the exchange of pleasantries, the observation of a pit fight (and the gambling thereupon), followed by the negotiation of terms, and the facilitation of payment. Throughout, the smoking of Hookah, the imbibing of alchohol and other subtances as desired by either party - truly, a sight to behold. Inside the small meeting room, the usual layabouts sat about drinking, gambling and watching the sports, and would be dismissed once the formal negotiations started.

Nor'baal was very excited.

So much so, that he had forbidden the exchange guards that his 'boss', Cait, has sent to Canto for his assistance, from entering the Bar - after all, the nature of his guest might put them at unease. Indeed, his guest had even been sent a polite recommendation to appear with their customary armour covered, to better avoid discovery by the Exchange. He was confident it would succeed, and that their Jub Jub could proceed as planned.

Leaning back, he waved over one of his slightly less useless retainers, and instructed "Moisturize me." as was something of a habit. Eager to get things underway, the Hutt waited for his guest to arrive, and for the Jub Jub to begin.

Under normal circumstances Reyna wouldn't step foot into such gaudy places as Chuula's Chub House and Cantina. Establishments like this usually housed the worst kind of scum; gamblers, addicts, crooks, swindlers, idiots -- not warriors. Luckily it seemed that Reyna's meeting was taking place in a more secluded portion of the Cantina, and as she passed some rather ugly guards, she entered the room, a fierce look painted across her face.

She saw the man-slug she was here to meet, one by the name of Nor'baal Fanth. Before going over to speak with him though, Reya's eyes fell upon what looked to be an open bar - or at least it was going to be open for her. As she received her drink - a dark and almost viscous Corellian whiskey - Reyna smiled at the bartender and simply said "Put it on Norb'aal's tab." Granted, it might not have seemed like much to the casual observer - just a single glass of liquor. But that single glass of liquor probably cost two hundred and fifty credits. Not a lot to a slug, sure, but enough to make him know Reyna was not intimidated by him or his potential influence.

Of course, as his invited guest Reyna probably had open reign on anything she wanted anyway - but she didn't know that. Hutt customs weren't really her forte, so she defaulted to what she knew: puff out your chest and be the baddest bitch in the room. Satisfied for now, she made her way over to Nor'baal and greeted him with a small nod of her head. "Business seems good," She said idly before finishing off her drink. "I'm going to need to see it before we get too far into this, you know." The words were casual but the implication was not. Reyna didn't trust anyone, especially a Hutt, so she wanted to make sure that her payment was here and she wouldn't get excuses about it later.

Reyna didn't say much else, keeping her eyes on Nor'baal while still trying to remain aware of her surroundings.

Nor'baal had been holding a lot of meetings in the Chub house recently, the place just seemed to resonate with him - maybe it was the high class clientele, or just the large amount of slythmongers who plied their trade in the area. It seemed to lend the room a soft haze, the various smokey emissions from whatever the people on the fringes of the room appeared to be smoking clearly contributing to it. Reyna, looked unimpressed - but, from Nor'baals experience, most Mandalorians did.

Just don't know how to kick back, he thought to himself, as she meandered across the room and helped herself to a drink. Of course, he would pick up her tab - after all, the information she was to give him was worth more than a few whiskeys.

She was however, very direct; something Nor'baal often saw in people that frequented her line of work. The life of a warrior was a fast paced one, after all, who new when the day would be your last? So, in a way it made sense to live life quickly. Such fleeting lifespans, he thought, as she demanded to see the payment he was set to make. Humans lived far shorter lives that the superior Hutt species, adding a great amount of urgency to their lives it would seem.

Waving to his droid who held up a metal box, Nor'baal unlocked it with a voice activated code, chortling some horrendous sounding code in Huttese, and opened the box, showing her the weapon, before slamming it shut in an instant "Bo cheenawana, do bargon. Nee, du chu haska du deeta?" he boomed, the droid stepping forward.

"His most sublime fattness has shown you the weapon, he asks if you have the information in return?" it said, its naturally high pitched voice, vastlyat odds with the Hutts deep tones. Sitting back on his dias, Nor'baal gazed at the Mandalorian with his eyes narrowed - as if about to doze off - keen to see if she had that what he desired.

Chuula's Chub House and Cantina.. Kerrigan spat as she whispered the words, reading them off the sign as she walked in. A less than reputable location, with an even less than reputable clientele.. Not that Kerrigan had room to speak of being reputable.. Through an underground contact she'd heard tell of a hutt that resided her often, a filthy rich worm of a kriffing... Kerrigan began to think before recomposing herself.

She was sitting at a booth, a couple of other seedy types present to mask her presence, whe would talk to this hutt if she needed to kill everyone in this club to do it... Her mind began to slip for a bit.. it was common, insanity had its tolls to pay, and alcohol on top of it, though not much, still played a dangerous roll in her mental stability, or lack there of.

She was on her third drink when she saw it, her, the person, a human, a Mandalorian... walk through the door, and head to a back room, like she kriffing owned the place, who was this bantha.. why does she get a back room? No kriffing way.. Kerrigan thought as she stood up a few moments later and began to walk in that direction like she knew where she was going.

There was a large empty hallway leading to the back rooms, one of them casting light from beneath it's closed doors, and the tell tale sound of a fat pompous snake of a hutt speaking their disgusting native tongue.. Kerrigan crept along the hallway, her right hand resting on the hilt of her saber, and her left hand's fingers softly dragging across the wall, sensing for any sort of unexpected movement behind her, Kerrigan kept her eyes on the door for the moment, when she heard the words "Shown you the weapon.." come from one of the fat-ling's slaves... Interesting.. Kerrigan thought..

Reyna's eyes locked onto the box the droid showed her, easily able to distinguish the weapon for what it was. She'd seen them enough times on her fellow mando brothers and sisters to know and a small smile creased her lips as the thought of she too having one.

"Yeah, I have what you asked for." Reyna said simply, withdrawing a small thumb drive from a pouch on her belt. It was about as nondescript and innocent looking as you could get. "Should get through any vetting process from anyone you're trying to get it to," she continued with a shrug, seemingly nonchalant about the nefarious business the Hutt had planned for the drive. "All the metadata will point towards Mandalorian origin and have Mandalorian encryption, something that isn't easily replicated. A pretty good job, all things considered."

Reyna handed the drive directly to Nor'baal's assistant droid, then promptly took the case with the gun inside of it. Opening it, she took the violator out, put it on her hip, and tossed the box back at the droid.

"Now that the uncomfortable part is over with, maybe we could talk about the other things you could provide given appropriate payment." Another devilish grin split Reyna's lips as she thought of the endless theoretical possibilities. "I've been looking to get my hands on a crate load of thermals. That something you could do?"

With the thumb drive now in his possession, Nor'baal considered the business of the day to be concluded, and - taking the drive off his Droid - he secreted it in the back of his Hookah pipe, reaching for the smoking handle soon after. Yet, the Mandalorian was still here. He blinked. She was still there. He blinked again.

BWhat does she want, he began to think, as she then helpfully spurted out her desire to move onto further business. "The great Nor'baal," his droid began, attempting to be a little to on the helpful side, in its quest to ensure it's master could return to his revels "...has no wish for further business..." the droid was cut off as Nor'baal slammed his stubby hand into its chest, sending it reeling off the platform with suprising strength in his strike.

"Beeogola droi! he boomed, the venom in his voice requiring no translation as the Protocol unit took back to its feet stammering "The great Nor'baal would be happy to continue business, the honorable Solus will find the Desilijics do not dissappoint with the speed by which they might find such things for you," the droid hurredly translated its masters ramblings into basic.

"My master hopes that you understand," it struggled to find the words, such was the complexity of the Hutt language at times "...that the payment will be something to his liking?" the Droid continued, moving closer to its master to whisper to him directly.

Nor'baal sneered, a smile breaking across his face as he replied to his droids question "Un challa haska, duupa Kwee-Kunee?" he asked, the Droid turnig to face the Mandalorian saying "Perhaps a small discount would be favourable to you, should you be able to arrange for my Master," the droid pointed at Nor'baal "To meet yours?"

With that, the Droid fell silent.

Cardinal sat in one of the booths of the bar. He wasn't here for fun, but merely for a mission. The sub-boss and slug Norbaal had come here to meet with a mandalorian for some sort of arrangement, apparently Norbaal hadn't wanted any guards to notice the relationship between the two, so none were allowed in. Cardinal however was here secretly, he didn't know if Norbaal had noticed him yet, not that he cared. Norbaal was in the backroom with the Mandalorian, so Cardinal didn't exactly know what was happening now, he needed eyes and ears on the situation. Cardinal was with his four men who were somewhat in the exchange, but Norbaal didn't know them. Cardinal did not wore anything that would strike him as an Exchange member, but he wore a plain suit with armor underneath.

Cardinal was here for backup, if one thing Cardinal knew, was that Mandalorians were not to be trusted, if anything were to get rough, Cardnal would help out. He was a spy. "Alrighty chaps, there's a ol' slug in the backroom he's an associate of mine, I want all eyes and ears around this place, anything suspicious, comm me. David, I want you to go to the entrance and just stay there, anything suspicious enter or exit, tag him or her and alert me. Rusty, stand next to the door, no one in, no one out. Anything happens, you step right in, use lethal force if needed. John go out the back, and stay there as backup. And Charles, stay with me..I might need you."

The group broke up and dispersed to their designated location. Cardinal turned to look at the last individual, "
Brick, if I have to tell you to shut the kriff up again, I'm going to personally rip off your arms......I'm joking pal, keep singing, it always lifts the atmosphere." Cardinal kept his attention focused at the data pad, he didn't want to look suspicious to anyone that he was focused on Norbaal.

Kerrigan kicked open the door, both of her sabers now in hand and activated as the door shut behind her, Chess ko Norbaal.. Mee teesa rodda co pana pee.. She spoke in the Huttese tongue, growing up as a slave to these worms had its benefits she presumed.. Befriending these types could be bad for your health... She added in basic to allow the Mandalorian swine to join the conversation.

Her eyes were on the Mandalorian the whole time, and her senses at peak in case anyone else in the room decided to make a move.. Should the Mandalorian fire off, Kerrigan would be able to deflect with her saber.

It appeared that business talks would have to be put on pause for now. The sudden clamor of boot hitting door caused Reyna to whip around just as some moronic green schutta was coming through the doors with kriffing lightsabers. Just as the Twi'lek was blathering on about whatever stupid thing she felt needed to be said, Reyna raised her arm and fired off her cryocaster.

She was a scant 2.5ish meters away from where the Twi'lek was standing, well within the range of her weapon. With her other hand Reyna drew her strill pistol but didn't fire it yet, wanting to assess the situation as it comes and not make any presumptions.

Some people, it would seem, just had now manners at all - could this newcomer now see that business was being discussed? Rolling his eyes as she carped on about somethin to do with murder, Nor'baal considered offering Reyna Solus a discount on their next deal if she took care of Kerrigan Smyth, yet - as she had alreaady whipped out a lightsaber, he did not see the point.

It was hardly a secret as to the Mandalorians opinions of Sith.

"Beeogola Seetha!" his voiced boomed across the room, as Reyna fired at the invader. His laughter echoing around the room, Nor'baal pulled a DH-7 from his dias, and fired off a couple of shots at the invader, adding to the barrage of fire.

Cardinal watched as a women kicked open the doors. Cardinal could catch the common two blades of red, tagging this woman as a Sith. He didn't know why she was interrupting the meeting, but Cardinal knew she was causing trouble. As soon as she entered, Cardinal heard blasters being shot. "Kriff, looks like the show is on the road. Rusty, the child has entered the room, I repeat the child has entered the room. Proceed to assist with the mother." Cardinal commed one of his men at the door of the backroom. The codes was probably not needed, but it provided more fun. Cardinal got up from his seat gesturing for his other man and droid to follow him, blasters still concealed. As Cardinal approached the backroom, his man guarding it, blaster drawn, he told his other men, "Everyone else, stay where you are....no one comes in and no one leaves, things might get rough, and the last thing we need is civilians getting in the crossfire." So far it was Cardinal his two men and a droid, against whatever chaos was going on in the room. Cardinal stopped at the door, and still heard blaster shots ringing. At this time, Cardinal and all his men drew their blasters. "Set for stun, but be cautious....there's a mad Sith in their waving around two sabers. We need everyone alive so we can see what's going on here." Cardinal opened the door, and he, his men, and his droid ducked as bolts flew over his head and struck the ceiling. Panic rose among the customers as they all got up and bolted out of the cantina. Cardinal saw the Sith, and he and his men, and droid fired at the Sith, four bolts of blue flying towards the Sith . Immediately after, Cardinal switched back to kill mode, his crew doing the same. He just hoped the mandalorian and Norbaal didn't shoot at him. "Norbaal, I'm here to help you!"

Cardinal watched as the Sith was shot multiple times by multiple individuals. As soon as the Sith fell to the ground dead, Cardinal instructed one of his men to go over to make sure she was dead. The man bent over and checked, secretly slipping an items that belonged to the Sith into his coat. "She's dead" The man said walking back over to Cardinal. He whispered into Cardinal's ear before slipping two long cylinder item into Cardinal's hand. Cardinal thought for a moment, feeling the sabers. "Boss Norbaal, it has been a pleasure, if you require me to stay, i will. " Cardinal then glanced to the woman.

The Twi'lek had died as quickly as she'd arrived. Reyna shook her head in disgrace as she approached the Sith's body and spat on it. She turned back towards Nor'baal, a fresh scowl plastered on her face.

"Perhaps next time you'll have proper enough security to not let an obvious kriffing rat-Sith so close to you and your business dealings." She spat on the Sith's corpse again. "I'll be in touch about what we discussed. Though I will say, as of now Nor'baal - not impressed."

With that, Reyna made her way out of the meeting room and out of the cantina all together. She had gotten her payment, not to mention the added benefit it slaughtering a Sith, and Nor'baal had gotten what he'd wanted. That would suffice for now.

With the business of the day concluded, Nor'baal watched as his guests departed, and his uninvited visitor collapsed, dead, to the ground. not one to allow a good bit of meat to go to waste, Nor'baal waited and then moved forward from his dias. Hefting the corpse up, he opened his collosal mouth, and chomped it in half - chewing through the bone and gristle as he consumed his fallen foe.

Delicious.
