__Jedi Weapon Master Juno Armstrong has been without a Padawan since shortly before the fall of Coruscant. Her previous Padawan, now Jedi Knight Jake Denoda, has gone on to become a valued member of the Order, operating in the remote reaches of space, on the fringes of what is considered safe, even for a Jedi. Now, however, the time has come for Juno to take on her third Padawan Learner.
__In these dark times in which a Jedi can no longer safely traverse the universe alone, let alone untrained, a certain level of skill is expected of a Jedi who wishes to depart the Jedi Temples. That having been said, Weapons Master Armstrong holds an exceptionally important role which often takes her both outside the Temples and into areas of the galaxy which are not typically declared as safe, or green zones. Due to the higher risk involved with travelling with Master Armstrong, she has arranged for a series of tasks to properly gauge potential candidates to fill the position as her Apprentice.
__The candidates will be sent to the swamps of Manpha, a small planet along the Corellian Trade Spine, not too far from the safety of Anoth and the Light of the Force. Under the careful supervision of Juno herself, the candidates will be put through a series of survival tasks that test their mettle against nature, combat droids (set to training mode only) - testing for things like leadership skills, teamwork, woodcraft, and survival skills. While this is a controlled exercise, applicants are reminded that this is a dangerous environment, and you will be tested. Work together, and you may find yourself in the position of Weapons Master Armstrong's tutelage. Even if you don't, however, you are reminded that this exercise offers more than just an apprenticeship, but also experience, firsthand, with the support of several other Jedi, the situations that may befall a member of the Order.
