Padawan Introduction

[Carson Blane]

The will of the force reminded Carson of the ships his parents docked on for trading. Only this ship was bigger. Carson was sitting in a rather small chair in one of the empty training rooms.Twirling the hilt of the lightsaber that had been given to him by the man on tattoine in his hand. And in his other hand was a glass of Talrisian ale that he was sipping using his healing powers to reduce the alcohol in his blood stream. He was curious to see who his new master would be he was only given a basic description of the man. His name was Christian Noble and he was a human male. Carson soon finished his ale. He put down the glass and started doing some push ups. After all he wanted to make a good first impression.

 

[Matt]

''Well you can stop that for one! Because if you do push ups then I'll be forced to and I'll be buggered if I am coming to train you and end up sweaty and out of breath!''

Christian had slipped in quietly and grinned at his new padawan, he had heard some most interest being things about the young fellow but Christian never took to much notice of a paragraph of text to describe a person.

''So, you must be Carson?''

 

[Carson Blane]

Carson stood up and returned the grin to his master. "Pleased to meet you Master Noble." He reached out his hand for the man to shake

 

[Matt]

Christian shook his hand warmly grinning as he asked his padawan to take a seat on the floor as Christian positioned himself infront of him.

''So, tell me about yourself Carson? Hopes? Dreams? What kind of jedi do you want to be? How much sugar you take in your tea? Everything in short''

 

[Carson Blane]

Carson smiled "Two cubes is enough for me. Dreams..I hope to be a Jedi master one day. It's funny... I dreamed about being a Jedi when I was a kid.But I was younger then.As I got older. I dreamed more about being a trader like my father. It was a good business he had going on.Until he was killed." Carson bit his lip."A hutt wanted him dead so he hired some bounty hunters to do the deed.I tried to fight back using my father's blaster. But it overheated and I lost my arm and my freedom.But That was almost 10 years ago. No use in wallowing in self pity'"

 

[Matt]

''I saw that rather horrific episode in your file but it is good you don't look back, we are only given one life so we should spend it enjoying life to it's most rather then wallowing in self pity because I'm sure we both have similar ammount of skeletons in our closets and neither of us are even 30!''

Christian smiled at his padawan thinking of the numerous problems he had going on form his past, best thing was to completely ignore them as far as Christian was concerned.

''So tell me, what kind of jedi will you be? A lightsaber wielding maniac or a sitting in the back throwing bits and bobs at horrible sith. Oh, and it's Christian not master as we are similar ages! Simply won't do.''

 

[Carson Blane]

Carson liked how well his master understood him."Well ,Christian, I have been thinking about it and I think I would rather dish justice to a Sith using a Lightsaber rather than using the force to lob objects at them."

 

[Matt]

''Wonderful, then the first thing we must establish first and foremost is what form shall you use? Do you have any thoughts as this training is a journey for us both my friend! Together we will unlock the mysteries of how not to chop your head off by mistake!''

 

[Carson Blane]

Carson thought for a long 1O minutes." Ataru suits me ." Carson said reflecting on the answer then nodding making it final.

 

[Matt]

''Ataru you say? Well we will have to work hard on your fitness because Ataru is the hardest form in regards to the strain on your body. However, first we shall work on your basic movements and such so if you could activate your training blade!''

Christian couldn't help but laugh thinking on the ten minutes his padawan took to decide but then some were different, Christian blurted out what form he wanted to know but then everyone was different.

 

[Carson Blane]

Carson stood up."I am prepared for any physical challenges that await me." And with that Carson activated the blue blade and got into the proper stance. "Ready when you are."

 

[Matt]

''Very well''

Christian ignited his blade and stood in a defensive position of Makashi.

''The most important thing of Ataru is the jump around like a lunatic so please, jump away my friend''

 

[Carson Blane]

Carson smiled and swung at christian's head but redirected his swing at the last minute towards his leg hoping to fake out the man.

 

[Matt]

'You know what?''

Christian deactivated his lightsaber and put it onto his belt as he jumped backwards away from the attack quickly.

''This is very boring so how about we spice things up a tad, how would you feel my friend about going for a space walk along the side of the ship? There is a purpose...Somewhere in my idea I assure you''

 

[Carson Blane]

"Sounds good." he said deactivating his training saber and putting it on his belt."Shall we ready ourselves?"
