Yuma finally made it to the Archives as he carried the pieces to his lightsaber; well better than a lightsaber, he reminded himself, nobody has even made one of these in the Order. But even though his was the first, it would be unique. He found an empty workspace in the archives and put all his equipment down on the surface and began organizing his tools. But he soon realized that his idea wouldn't work all the time; but he had a backup plan.
He began putting his pieces together and about three hours later he was finished with his final product; it was a lightwhip. But he remembered that a lightwhip wouldn't work everywhere, especially in close range battles. So he disassembled his training saber and inserted a synthetic green lightsaber crystal and removed the power limiter. He put it back together and had his lightsaber in addition to his primary weapon, his lightwhip. He wouldn't use the lightsaber unless he had to.
