Past Lives (ASK)

[Lana Nightblade]

Lana was sitting in an empty field on the planet of Dantooine. Waiting for a good friend to meet her there. She stood up and looked across the vast field on the big planet. It was night time and the moon was shining and it light up the whole field. A light breeze blew by her and her red hair seemed to look like it was floating in the air.

 

[Ser Yorick]

*Lu Kane steps down onto the planet, he had landed his ship, the Blaze a few moments before. He was to meet a good friend here, she wanted to discuss something important. His tan robes swaying in the wind as a breeze hit, he looked out into the field and saw her, Lana Nightblade, she was beautiful, radiant as ever, her long red hair was flowing in the wind. He had a shot with her once, but that was some time ago. He brushed his hair away from his eyes, they were shining red-gold again, the colour of his ancestors. He stepped forward and called out to her*

"Hey, Lana!"

 

[Lana Nightblade]

*Lana quickly turned around with one fast move as soon as she heard "hey" from Lu Kane. She walked up to him and looked into his eyes and smiled. She moved the hair out of her face that was moved there when the wind was blowing.

"Lu hi. You came."

 

[Ser Yorick]

*Lu smiled back at her*

"Oh course I came, your a dear friend and I enjoy spending time with you. Now what was it that you wanted to talk about?"

 

[Lana Nightblade]

*Lana laughed.*

"Sure you do. Oh I think we should get to know eachother more like just sit down relax and talk. What do you think?"

 

[Ser Yorick]

*He cocked an eyebrow and smirked*

"Sounds like a good idea to me, what would you like to talk about?"

 

[Lana Nightblade]

*She smiled then turned and looked at the field that was so light up by the moon.*

"I don't know anything like our pasts or something."

 

[Ser Yorick]

*Lu looked up into the sky, his eyes shining in the twilight*

"Would you like me to tell you the story of my childhood, and of where I grew up? It's a long and sad story, but you'll owe me, you'll have to tell me a long and boring story as well"

*He smiled at her as he looked into her beautiful brown eyes*

 

[Lana Nightblade]

*Lana looked at him then smiled*

"Sure tell me. Ok I guess I can give you a long boring non important story about my life and childhood in exchange."

 

[Ser Yorick]

*Lu smiled again and closed his eyes, thinking back before his days as a Jedi, trying to open the memories he was forced to keep shut, the memories of his father and those few flashes of what his mother was like*

"Well, I am originally from the planet Xagobah, you've most likely heard of Dagobah, well it's atmosphere is basically the same. My mother and father were both Jedi descendents, their blood line very strong in the Force. My mother passed away giving birth to me, and my father cared for me til I was around six years old. My father, Zalos Kane was the founder of a Jedi-like order called, the Dragu Knights. They protected the small civilization of people that lived on the planet, until the day of my sixth birthday, we were attacked. A fleet of bright silver craft arrived and slaughtered our people, i was the only survivor, i was able to escape by hijacking a ship and jetting into hyperspace before they noticed what had happened, the thing is, it was all sheer luck. I had never even seen a space craft before, so I just hit a bunch of random buttons. Then the Jedi found me and the rest is history"

 

[Lana Nightblade]

*Lana looked at the ground and thought to herself about how horrible that was. The looked back up to Lu*

"Tha........thats horrible I'm sorry so sorry Lu."

 

[Ser Yorick]

*Lu's eyes water slightly, but he does not let that show, instead he holds his head up and speaks calmly and quietly*

"It's alright, I've learned to deal with what happened, it was a long time ago. But now, how about you? What was your childhood like?"

*He smiled his friendly smile again, staring directly into her eyes again*

 

[Lana Nightblade]

*Lana smiled slightly and she looked down then sat down on the ground and motioned Lu to sit down also.. She searched into her past and she remembered it like it was yesturday.*

"Ok well I was born a Shadourian just like my brother Ryu Nightblade. I spent all my time with him. I barely knew my mother or father. Actually I don't remember them at all becasue I never was around them. Where ever my brother was I was. He trainined me most of my life and is still training me to this day. When my brother left Shadourian I went out looking for him. I think I was 16 or 17 at the time. When I was on my way to finding him I was almost killed. I was looking on a planet and I was attacked by some creatured and it almost killed me but I got away and continued my journey to find him. When I found him I brought him back home with me and he became a master of the Shadourians. And now here I'am.

 

[Ser Yorick]

"I'm sorry to hear that as well, I guess we both have troubled pasts. So your brother Ryu, whats he like?

 

[Lana Nightblade]

*Lana smiled*

"My brother. Well you know how he is. He sent his apprentice to kill you for kissing me so what do you think?"

 

[Ser Yorick]

"Hes a civil guy, haha. But of course he was upset when I kissed you, your such a beautiful girl, tons of men are attracted to you, hes just trying to be protective. If he was really trying to kill me, he would have sent a more skilled assassin"

*Lu smiled and laughed*

 

[Lana Nightblade]

*Lana smiled. She blushed when he called her beautiful though.*

"Or he would of done it himself."

 

[Ser Yorick]

*Lu watched her blush and smirked just barely, to the naked eye his lips hadn't moved at all*

"Most likely, and then the battle would have turned out differently"

 

[Lana Nightblade]

*Lana turned and looked around because she knew her brother would of killed him.*

"Indeed it would have."

*Lana layed down in the field and looked up to the sky.*

 

[Ser Yorick]

*Lu looked over at her as he lay down and leaned backwards to ly down as well, he tunred to look at her face then back up at the stars*

"It's beautiful out here tonight isn't it? I havn't really taken the time to stop and smell the roses much if ya know what I mean. Everyone trying to kill me and all, haha"
