So there's this little game series known as Persona (you've probably never heard of it) that I got into a few years back, I played the whole series one after another, about 60 hours a piece: Persona 1, Persona 1 PSP, Persona 2 Innocent Sin, Persona 2 Enternal Punishment, Persona 3, Persona 3 FES, Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4, Persona 4 Golden, Persona 4 Arena, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax: Ultra Suplex Hold, Persona Q, Persona 4 Dancing All Night and even the damn Pachinko game (not that I had any idea what was going on)
Anyway so you could imagine the excitement I had in 2013 when I stayed up 48 hours watching a 72 hour stream to see a one minute teaser trailer to Persona 5 on PS3 in 2014! Anyway, time passed and eventually we got another trailer revealing the main character and the fact that the game would now also be released on PS4, which was awesome. Another year passes and no Persona 5, instead we get an even MORE amazing trailer (Like honestly this is the best trailer I have ever seen for anything ever) showing the basis of the plot and some new characters, and also the sad fact that the game had been delayed to 2015. But that's okay, whats one more year? Tokyo Games Show 2015, ATLUS announces another Persona 5 stream, everyone's hype. "A release date, a release date" we all cried, hoping the Japanese would hear us through the internet. And once again we get another amazing trailer, along with another delay to 2016.
But even with all this delaying I'm still excited, essentially the plot of Persona 5 is a group of teenagers gain the ability to summon manifestations of their inner psyche known as a Persona (Each game has a strong mythological theme associated with the party's first Personas, for example Persona 3's main cast featured Greek deities as their initial personas. Persona 5 however strays from this tradition and instead uses famous Rouges from literacy as a basis.) The story of Persona 5 will discuss the hardships of modern-day society and feature characters that are restrained by the rules set by this society. As a result, players will be confronted with trials and chains that they will have to overcome.
Please excuse me if this is badly written, I'm a bit tipsy and I felt the need to inform everyone about this upcoming masterpiece.
