My Padawan specializes mostly in blade-to-blade combat and other physical arts, so I was wondering if anyone could teach him Force powers that support that by augmenting your performance or in some way helping to overwhelm the opponent with direct combat. Ideas:

Force Valor
Force Speed
Force Aura (and subsequent evolutions such as Force Shield)
Force Barrier
Force Absorption
Battle Meditation

Any other ideas are welcome as long as they make sense within the parameters.

Force Speed is a Core Power that your character could pick up on, so if you want it, I advise that you simply add it to your beginning Force power list. x3

Battle Meditation requires admin approval, so I'll let you handle that one. Just a heads up if you find someone to teach it to you. I don't see why a Padawan would have it though. I advise looking into it when your character becomes a Knight.

Force Aura/Absorption fall under Tutaminis which is rarely mastered. I do expect that you can learn basic applications, but draining energy for long amounts of time seems very unlikely. But you'll have to ask an administrator about that, for I'm unsure. x3

If your character is bent on lightsaber combat, learning Saber Throw could be very beneficial. :3

Battle meditation is more or less useless in an rp like this.

Battle Meditation requires admin approval

No, I don't believe it does.

As Matt said, Battle Meditation is pretty much useless. You can say you're more motivated by it if you want to, but that doesn't give you any real advantage in an rp fight.

I was referring to the other version of Battle Meditation, the one used in KOTOR II, sorry if it was unclear. This one acts on yourself, improving your reactions, strength, speed, etc. It basically just increases your all-around physical performance. It's described as finding a state of meditation while in battle, rather than meditating while in battle to help your allies and hinder your enemies.
