Sitting in his apartment in "The Arms," Brondar reflected on his recent contracts with Apex. They had been lucrative, but he knew that fortune favored the bold, and he was always on the lookout for the next opportunity. His apartment on the Galactica, a place that united memories of his home with the endless possibilities of travel, felt like the perfect place to plan his next move.

"The Arms" was a fascinating neighborhood, a true melting pot of different species and cultures working together. Brondar appreciated the bustling streets and the constant activity outside his window. It ensured that his apartment was never truly silent, which he found comforting.

As he relaxed in his chair, his eyes drifted to the contract board on the datapad. One job, in particular, had caught his attention, and he couldn't help but ponder the possibilities it held.

Sarapin Defense Grid

• The planet Sarapin is a major energy exporter for the Core Worlds. Although it is protected by a hardy defense system, recent attempts by a slicer collective have found multiple gaps in the system. During one of the recent attacks, a small team of pirates made it to the surface and are wreaking havoc in and attempt to hold the system for ransom. Find an eliminate the saboteurs.
• Assets Assigned: 12 Kaleesh warriors, 1 slicer droid or PC, 1-2 PCs
• Payout per teammate: 60,000 credits

Brondar's excitement for the new contract was palpable. As he read through the details involving Kaleesh warriors, a slicer droid, and pirates, he couldn't help but relish the prospect of an adventurous mission.

"Interesting... Kaleesh warriors? and a Slicer droid? and Pirates? Well, that sounds like good old F.U.N.," he remarked to Hopper, who was equally thrilled by the upcoming mission. The little droid beeped happily and nodded, showing its eagerness to accompany Brondar on this venture.

With determination in his eyes, Brondar decided it was time to meet their contact, Ajax. He stood up, leaving his apartment, and made his way to the agreed rendezvous point at the hangars. There, they would discuss the details and approach of this delicate operation.

The first to arrive were the 12 formidable Kaleesh warriors, followed by the reprogrammed EI-9 droid. Brondar had heard tales of the Kaleesh being ruthless and brutal, characteristics that he didn't mind for a mission involving pirates looking for easy money. Together, they waited for Ajax's arrival, ready to embark on this exciting adventure.

[Ajax Lawson]

Ajax was chilling on the couch in the clubhouse, or at least what he called the clubhouse, and pulled up his datapad looking for a quick buck. When set his eyes on the contract involving the Sarapin Defense Grid he figured, eh fuck it. "Time get suited up." He would hit accept and make his way to get ready for this mission.

His armor was put on, utility belt clicked, nades attached. After a couple functions checks of both his Sniper and Pistol he would holster them and make his way to the agreed location. Arriving he left his gaiter neck down and helmet off to show his face to the others, "What's up compadres? Hahaa!" He kept his voice to a reasonable level but enough to be lively. Looking around he saw the Khaleesh Warriors, "Well ain't y'all a sight for sore eyes." Ajax would take a seat next to Brondar. "Name's Ajax, how 'bout you Blondie?"

As they sat around, Ajax would get his sniper situated. All pieced together, sighted in, and looking truly badass for the mission. Pulling his dreads back, he would put on his helmet and lift his gaiter neck. "So we ready to make some fuckin' money?"

He chuckled at Ajax's introduction, appreciating the immediate roast.

"My name is Brondar, nice to meet you," he responded, still amused by Ajax's playful jab at his appearance. Ajax seemed like a personable individual, at least at first glance.

"Soon," he replied to Ajax's question. "Allow me to suggest a plan for how we'll proceed. What we know so far is that an unknown pirate organization has decided to ransom a planet. While we don't have their current location, they're likely to strike again soon. The local government reports daily attacks throughout the planet. So, my proposal is that we travel to the capital of Sarapin, Mount Corvast. This volcanic capital city is densely populated and serves as a major hub for import and export operations. It's also home to the Planetary Defense Systems Headquarters. We'll deploy the droid in the city and prepare our ships to scramble if necessary. With any luck, they'll attack sooner rather than later. The droid will be able to locate these saboteurs, and then we should be able to eliminate them. Any questions?" he concluded, awaiting a response.
