Planet Profiles

I've noticed several canon planets with a planet profile. I've also noticed that most of those planets were written by members with senator characters of those planets. Is this required for senators or simply something to boost IC flavor?

nope, its not at all required for senators, its just something a few folks decided to do!

Okay, I'm thinking since my senator is focused on economics and trade; I would focus on that in a planet write up to give some background for RPs.
