The Tion Cluster
Cadinth
Midday

The scorching sun beats down on the sandy earth, reflecting light off the fragmented ground back into the sky, intensifying the heat. A single robed figure walking through the wasteland towards the oasis of a spaceport, a simple mission for simple Sith, destroy the ports defences and report any resistance encountered. Not that Kato was a 'simple' Sith, this mission would be considered beneath him by anyone who shared his upbringing, the sorcerers sect of Sith would never consider leaving their exquisite labs to get their hands dirty. But he had left that life behind, sorcery is a fools tool, a lazy path to power, used by the weak to inflate their false egos.

This is it, I'll make my way in and find the planetary guns, hopefully we won't be found out straight away. Placing his hand across his chromed hilt, keeping it concealed from the view of the port's denizens the Sith makes his way into the target area. Uniformed men are placed evenly across the area, two placed at the entrance to each landing bay toting what looked to be new blasters. Not surprising, considering how much revenue the planet made from it's resource rich mines, they made enough to supply the whole security force with phirik tiaras encrusted with kyber crystals.

So this was it. His first task as a full member of the "glorious" Sith brotherhood. Infiltrate some planetary defense system and shut it down. His mother had a term to use for jobs like this. She called them "Milk Runs." Something as easy as picking up groceries from the nearest market. All he had to do was walk in, disable some computers and walk out.

That said, walking in would probably be the easiest part of the mission. In fact he was currently just passing the front entrance and none of the guards were giving him so much as the slightest look aside from small glances of idle curiosity. Why was this you ask? Well mostly because no one ever looks twice at the technical staff. Clad in baggy, dark grey overalls Rhem moved his way into the base. He had gone all out with his disguise this time. His vibrant red hair dyed black. Brown contacts covering his once green eyes. He had even gone and sculpted himself a rather convincing fake nose to put on his face.

All that, combined with some fake credentials and some well chosen uses of supernatural persuasion had given the young Force Adept a nearly flawless disguise. After buying one of the guards here a copious amount of drinks last night. The innovative saber jockey had also managed to pry a rather useful map from his mind with some gentle prodding.

It helped that being steaming drunk lowered one's mental defenses a bit.

Entering the building itself without any issues. Rhem's free hand rose to his ear while his other held on tight to his toolbox. Waiting until he was sure he was alone. Rhem called back the other Sith who had come on this assignment with him.

"I'm inside and my disguise is still good. Give me a chance to find it while we have stealth on our side. You can do me a favour by scoping out some threats or something." Lowering his hand, Rhem adjusted his collar in an attempt to blend in even more. If he did this right. This would be a smooth, clean run. In and out like a ghost.

If not? Well at least he knew how to take care of himself.

Adjusting his cap so it covers more of his scarred face, Kato managed to slip through the main entrance without attracting attention. The Sith made his way to the Port bar, returning smiles that locals casually shot at him as he shuffles through the potential death pit. As he took a seat the young man quickly glanced around, observing his surroundings for threats, escape routes, anything helpful.

"This place is surprisingly lax, two guards at each dock entrance but no roaming patrols. If everything goes to plan we can walk out clean." Pressing his fingers against his ear mounted com, the Summoner continues to observe. Kato orders a drink and sits back, keeping an eye on the guards when the bar tender steals his attention.

"So what brings you to Cadinth, I can tell by your clothes you're not from 'round here."

"Business."

"What kind?"

"The private kind," the Sith retorts before taking a sip of his drink. "Sorry friend, didn't mean to offend," he mumbles, handing the barman and extra twenty credits. "So what's the main export around here?"

"Little bit of this, little bit of that," the tender replies as he tops up Kato's glass. "If you can mine it then it comes through this port."

"Excuse me, I have a call to take." Leaving his seat Kato connects his com to his fellow, moving to a quiet area. "Status?"

So far, so good. But in the end that just meant he'd only be further along until everything inevitably goes to hell. It always did. No matter how many plans he made. How many failsafes he implemented. They never survived contact with the opposition. It was simply the way the universe seemed to work for him. He was not allowed to take it easy. There always had to be complications, failures, screw ups. Usually resulting in unneeded bloodshed. That was something in particular that Rhem disliked. Killing brought far too much heat down on your head. Subtly and planning was how one wins wars like this. Cunning and finesse always trumps brute force in the end.

But such thoughts would have to be left for a later date. Right now, he had a job to do. His main objective was right in front of him. A large metal door standing in the middle of a T-junction. Just by looking at it, Rhem was glad he chose infiltration over simply forcing his way in. He was pretty sure nothing but anti-armour weaponry would be able to punch a hole in this door. And attempting to cut through it with his lightsaber would take far too long and leave him exposed.

Reaching forward. Rhem pressed down on the com button on the door's panel/ "Seth here. Been told a terminal is on the fritz." He called out. Hoping against hope that his disguise would hold. It had taken nearly all night to make. But to the casual observer. Rhem would be able to pass off as the same technicion he had gotten the information out of last night.

The same technician that was currently drugged and tied up back in Rhem's ship. He'd release him once the job was done and he was ready to leave the system. Not a moment before.

"Wazzat Seth? That's news to me?" A somewhat sleepy voice chimed back from the panel. Somewhat distorted due to the technical nature of its medium. "And what's with your voice? You got a cold or something?"

"Something like that. Listen, can you just let me in anyway. I'm just doing what the boss told me. If there's nothing I'll just call it in and get out of here."

His reply was met with silence for a few moments. Moments where Rhem was sure his heartbeat was audible through the comms before he was met with a weary sigh and the hiss of the door opening.

Not wasting any time, Rhem stepped into the main control room. Met with the sight of a wall of monitors manned by two rather bored looking sentients. A Twliek and Rodian. As soon as the door began to shut after him the Rodian began to turn around, already yammering on in his own tongue about how there was nothing wrong.

Only to be met with a quick stun blast from Rhem's drawn blaster.

Praise would have to be given to the other worker for his reflexes. Almost as soon as his co-worker slumped over. The worker's blaster was drawn on Rhem. And chances are, he would have gotten the chance to pull the trigger had the young Sith not had supernaturally enhanced reflexes. In barely a second. Both of the monitors were down and Rhem's hand moved to his ear. Pressing down on the hidden comlink.

"Primary objective secured. I'm in the security room. I'll have the defenses disabled momentarily. You get to securing the docking bay. I'll handle this area."

The darkness enveloped the sodden chamber, pierced only by a dismal red and orange glow emanating from a few half lit safety lamps that casted strange shadows down the hallway on the far end. The waters that filled the large chamber sloshed forlornly as the turbines that fed it turned in rhythm. A city situated in a brutal alien desert like environment such as this would need a complex water transport system in order to maintain a state more permissible than a wasteland. The internal security, however, was not enough to to keep something, or someone, out of it. Surely, putting up defenses to keep someone from swimming several miles through a cramped pipe would seem like nonsense. Though that was the point.

The waters stirred for a moment, and slowly a mound of white tentacles arose from the depths, staring outwards with inky red eyes. Vlatkat listened intently, probed the air for the ambient pheromones to get an idea of where everyone was. He had entered the chamber 47 minutes ago, but each time he thought to surface completely he sensed someone was to close to risk being discovered. This time, however, he sensed it was the perfect time to advance. He made his way over to the platform that led into the hallway, then heaved himself over the guardrail. He was in.

As he got to his feet his clothes began immediately drying. They were made to hold minimal water just for this purpose. He scanned the hallways, creeping tentatively to avoid getting caught. He sensed a presence down the hallway. Three men, two middle aged, one younger. With a jolt he ducked behind a large pipe that jutted out from the ground. He watched as they went, and when they had passed out of sight he scampered out of his hiding place and down the hall. As he went he spotted cameras posted on the walls, and he casually threw pebble sized devices that made a small pop on impact, signaling the temporary disabling of the camera.

The underground aqueduct was spread throughout the entire city like an intricate web, allowing those people fortunate enough to be connected to it the luxury of a life like those on more ideal climates. With it one could go to any spot in the city without being detected. That was why the military that was stationed here used it as a sort of underground walkway for their soldiers at points. In the case of attack, it could be used to access points of strategic importance without being in danger of enemy fire. Smart, except for one problem. The entire city was open to him now that he was in. He could go literally anywhere he wanted as long as he wasn't caught, including the location of his missions objective.

He scurried around several corners quietly, then pressed his back against the edge of a turn, peering around to get s look at what was ahead. The ceiling opened into a kind of cage like roofing. If one looked up they could see the second level above them. He could see the from under the panel a group of soldiers standing in front of a force field barrier, each standing guard. Once on the other side he would be on the fast track to accessing the planetary defended themselves. This was why he was here. The others were ordered to turn them off. He was ordered to keep them turned off.

He whispered into the com link on his wrist. "I'm at the main security door to the access point. On stand by for deactivation of the defenses. Let's not keep the party on hold for long, boy's."

"Okay keep it up, we're running on schedule but I want to get off this rock as soon as possible." Taking his hand down the Sith began to wander the port, keeping an eye on the guards as he goes. It's not that he didn't like the planet, it seemed like a decent enough place, it was the heat scorching the exterior of the port. Luckily the spaceport's interior was artificially cooled, keeping the air crisp and chilly. Kato never was a fan of extreme heat, instead he usually gravitated towards colder climates.

Minutes pass as the caped man wandered around the bustling port, several guards subtly keeping their eyes on him as he moved a bit faster to escape their gaze. Slipping into a narrow hallway Kato removed himself from their field of vision,
"I've got eyes on me, I think they suspect me." Even through the crowds of the port Kato still seemed suspicious, was it the cape? No it couldn't be, everyone loves the cape. But it can't be helped, taking off the black material the sith dumps it in a trash can and quickly disassembles his lightsaber into three segments to make it less conspicuous. Walking out of the hallway now cape-less Kato makes his way back to the bar, activating his com as he walked.

"Should be clear for now, keep on your toes." Sitting back at the bar, the tender gives a confused look before realising he was the same man who left to make a call.

"Welcome back, drink's still cool."

"Copy that. I'll keep an eye out myself." Rhem responded back to Kato. Fingers already blurring across the keypads in order to allow Vlatkat access to the entire group's main objective. While it was useful Rhem had control over all the main security. He couldn't just disable all the main defenses so easily. At most he had control over the cameras and most security doors. And for an infiltration mission. Such advantages were priceless.

"The door's unlocked. The rest is up to you." He quickly chattered back to Vlatkat. And already his fellow Sith would see the security fall inert. Leaving him to his own devices. Along with this, he started picking away at multiple other forms of security. Preparing to shut down cameras, disabling alarms and leaving a few doors unlocked. Anything that would both help an infiltration and avoid detection.

With a content sigh, Rhem kicked his feet up on the desk. At this point there wasn't much else he could do. Just sit here, watch the cameras and then leave once the defenses were down. All in all, Rhem was willing to say this was a successful mission. The only casualties were some unconscious guards. And they'd be fine with just some bedrest.

It felt like nothing could go wrong. So of course, the Force being the sadistic cosmic entity it was. Decided Rhem was having it too easy. And the door behind him hissed open. Causing the young Sith to whirl around in his chair. Facing whoever it was that entered the room.

If any Jedi or opposing characters wants to jump in. Now is the time to do so.

Vlatkat overhead some unexpected scuffling on the other end of the com. It sounded like his ally in the control room had run into trouble. He rolled his eyes. "Great, that sounds lovely." He whispered to himself. He thought about calling Rhem on the com to check on him, but thought better of it. If he was caught, then the last thing Rhem needed right then was a voice on his com blowing what little cover he had left.

He looked over his shoulder, peering up at the men in front of the gate. It pulsated randomly, then flicked open as the energy field dissipated into nothing. The gaurds were immediately startled, and they looked to each other in confusion. "Generator must be down. Keep your eyes out, I'm going to contact maintenance."

The nautolan reacted swiftly before the one man could pull out his own com-link In that moments, pulling out a handful of grape sized capsules. He threw them on the ground causing them to burst and release a torrent of noxious gas into the air. It seeped up through the floor, choking the guards all at once. They fell one by one onto the floor.

Vlatkat walked over to the smoking panel, for he was naturally immune to this strain of gas, taking out his lightsaber. He ignited it's dark Crimson blade and plunged into into the ceiling above, cutting a neat circular entrance into the next floor. He leapt up onto the platform, sheathing his saber in the process and putting it in his cloak. He scanned the area for a bit, then scurried on ahead to continue his mission.

"Hey you, come with us."

Kato tensed up, slowly turning his head to get a look at his captor. A few seconds of scouring recent memories indicated it was the guard who spotted him before, along with two other runts to help him. "Of course officer, but could I ask why I'm being taken in?"

"We've got some questions for you, don't worry... This won't take long."
He takes his gloved hand and twists Kato's hand behind his back, lifting him off his seat and onto his feet. Dragging him off to their cramped interrogation room, muttering their suspensions to each other as they do so.

"So these are the guys?"

"How many are there?"
"At least two, maybe more."

Making it to the darkened room the leader of the three pushes Kato onto a seat, shining a blinding light across his face. "How many of you are there?" The guard aggressively inquires, his face barely visible in the darkness. "We know there are more."

"Define you, what exactly are you looking for?" Kato playfully replies, mocking the guard right to his face, clearly angering the man, he raises his fist to strike the Sith. Before he could land a hit however, Kato draws his blaster, letting off a volley of three shots into the assailant's head before quickly repeating the motion to the other two guards, lining up the shots with the light created from each blast. Sitting back on the seat the Sith activates his Coms and contacts his two fellows, "I've been found out, I've taken care of the three who suspected me but who knows who they notified."

"Damn, they found you out as well?" Rhem asked, his hand extended towards the unfortunate intruder who was currently gasping for air. While killing someone through choking them with the Force could be considered a technique steeped heavily in the Dark Side. Rhem found it much more efficient to simply create a block in an individual's windpipe instead of fully griping their necks and crushing. All he had to do was hold it there for a few moments until they passed out. Quick, clean and a hell of a lot safer than drugs or attempting to scramble someone's nervous system with stun blasters. The fact that it was also rather energy efficient helped as well.

With a sigh, Rhem caught the interloper as he slumped over. Placing him down against the wall next to the other two. Producing another pair of binders from his toolbox to make sure no one was going anywhere without his permission. When that was done, he glance back at the bay of monitors. Security doors were unlocked. All access codes had been downloaded to his datapad and sent to his teammates. And all of the cameras were currently disabled. The only problem was that now the guards suspected they had been infiltrated. And chances are they were already on their way here.

Figuring that his disguise was no longer needed. Rhem tore off his baggy overalls with a single swift motion. Revealing darkly coloured lightweight body armour underneath. Reaching into his toolbox, he began to clip the plethora of gadgets he had prepared onto his belt. With that done, he balled his fist and pointed it at the security monitors. Squeezing twice. Two bolts discharged and sank into the terminals. Destroying them completely with a loud explosion. Sparks flew and small amounts of smoke began to leak out. But no major damage was done to anything but the computers themselves. At least Rhem didn't have to worry about the place going up in flames.

"Welp, since they knew we're here. I'm on the move. Might find a place to hide or something. The security room is wrecked and you all have the access codes. So happy hunting you two." Already he could hear the sounds of boots against the metal floor. No doubt a group of guards on their way to investigate why the security room hadn't been responding for that last few minutes.

Making a small "Wub wub wub" sound as he scarpered in the opposite direction the guards were coming from. Rhem attempted to creep away. Hopefully staying a few steps ahead of the guards and not getting into any trouble.

The chamber was open now, with a huge cavernous room filled with bustling workers and marching soldiers. Everyone worked seamlessly on the maintainance of the giant weapons of defense. Vlatkat watched from high above, perched on the upper rungs of the roofing to avoid being seen. He could see them now, the guns. They were situated at the end of the room, fourteen in all. They were huge cannons, each easily fourty feet tall. They sat on circular panels, each prepped underneath a giant round access door that would open in the case of an attack and allow them to raise into place for countermeasures.

Vlatkat shimmied his way across another horizontal bar. His hands worked their way to a vertical pole for support, and he slowly, methodically, shifted himself into a standing position. He listened to his com link as his comrades detailed their latest issues and mishaps. "Oh, and I thought this was going to go well. Hm, what fun." He shuffled sideways across the bar he was on, then when he was in good position he leapt to the another bar, grabbing hold of it with both hands. He put his one arm downtown speak into his com again.. "Well, the good news is I'm still up and running over here. I still have to set the charges. Just try not to get yourselves into any more trouble before I'm done, alright? That's my job."

Vlatkat rocked his feet backwards and forwards a few times, then threw himself forward and landed on the next bar. He steadied himself on a support beam. He reached into his cloak and pulled out a thermal detonator, then armed it. It beeped softly in his hand. Vlatkat looked over at the giant defense systems. It was time to get to work.

A plethora of footsteps march upon Kato's position, getting closer and louder with every passing second. The sith presses his back against the door, hoping to block entry into the impromptu morgue as he reloads his blaster pistol. "Just remember, no lightsabers. It would be best if they didn't find out who we are. For all they know we're just a few pirates preparing for a raid."
Knock knock

Before the hostiles could knock a third time the Sith put his blaster to the door and emptied the ammo reserve, melting a clean hole at chest hight directly through the thin door. Opening up the door revealed two corpses laying face down, plasma burns still hot, illuminating their torsos a sizzling orange. "Five bodies, it seems my cover is blown." Switching out the power pack Kato swiftly swooped into cover, peaking around the hallway corner to check the main area. A quick look revealed guards sweeping the area, methodically checking every nook and cranny for the 'cop killer' in their midst, some off to the side asking nearby civilians questions. Activating his com-link Kato moves into a better position behind a closed shop counter, crouching down with his back pressed against the waist high cover. "I'm going loud, it should draw attention away from the objective so you can have more time. But I suggest you do it quickly, I don't carry much ammo on me and I don't want to draw my blade."

Popping up from cover the Sith takes aim at the closest guard, letting off three shot in his direction, two miss but the third hits the mark knocking the man to the ground. Almost instantly a retaliation initiates, a volley of blaster fire returning to the initiator forcing him to take cover again. Glasses shatter as the blazing plasma flings over the counter top, hitting the shelved products previously lined neatly across the now burnt up wall. "Damn wastoids, they're better trained than I expected."

The ship wasn't going to stay on Candinth for long.

Or so Semira thought. She and two other Jedi were returning to a Jedi temple from a supply run when they unfortunately ran into some... difficulties. The ship, a typical Republic Consul Star Yacht, had sustained damage that, although the ship was still flyable, would not look good on the mission members' half.

So Semira and her two companions were stuck in this spaceport until the ship was fixed. That being said, none of them were expecting conflict to strike in the port.

Semira was not one to simply sit around when there could be someone potentially dangerous lurking around. Almost immediately after she heard an explosion, she was on her feet and asking about what was happening. To no surprise, she didn't get any answers, just warnings to stay away. After all, they didn't know that there were several Jedi in the spaceport.

"Aw man. They on to you already?" Rhem asked over the comlink. Arms wrapped around one of the guard's neck in a punishing chokehold. With the hopes of knocking him out and stealing the uniform. If it came down to it. Rhem would rather create chaos in subtle ways over overt ones. "You sure you wanna go loud? I mean, we dont exactly have reinforcements incoming right now...." The young Sith's voice took on a slight note of concern. While he would never admit he was a saint, and his comrades certainly wasn't. Rhem wouldn't wish any harm on them. Hell, he wasn't even sure if he LIKED his comrades at all. But nevertheless, he wanted to make sure all his teammates made it out of this in one piece. A captain looked out for his crew. A team looked out for each other. Another one of his mother's moral lessons. It never hurt to look out for those you work with. They might be inclined to pay back the favor one day.

However, as he heard the sounds of conflict, something changed. His usual smirk died down and his mouth drew itself into a thin line. His comrade was in danger. It was time to stop goofing off and actually do his job.

"What's your location?" Rhem asked, his voice now losing its usually everpresent cheerful tone. Now taking on a more monotone, composed edge. As the young man slipped into an almost Jedi-like trance. Letting all emotions fade from his mind. letting the now slumbering guard fall out of his grip and to the cold floor below. Stooping over, Rhem snatched up the guard's rifle. Plans and failsafes already forming in his mind.

Absently looking over the gun. Rhem was oddly pleased to find that it was a sniper rifle. He had always favored this kind of weapon. Not only was it precise but it allowed him to engage people from a safe distance, usually with a single shot being enough to take them down.

And so he continued on towards wherever it was his comrade was holed up. And while he encountered some resistance. Many of them ended up just like the rest. Only instead of chokeholds and stun blasts. They were met with crippling shots to the shoulder and numerous broken bones.

And it would continue that way. Unless some real challenge stood in Rhem's path. And not some faceless soldier who didn't know his place.

Vlatkat swiftly went about his business. He was sure to place each bomb in a place he knew would work perfectly with its brethren to dismantle the machines to the point of totality. There was something entertaining about the laying of explosives, the constant calculations as to how each ordinance would affect the target, the rhythmic placing of the objects in ideal positions. Arm, throw, attach, hide, shift position, repeat. It was actually a source of enjoyment to Vlatkat. Of course, some would go about things brutishly in his place, simply throwing bombs randomly and hoping the magnitude destroyed it. But then, what was the fun in that? It took much more skill and thought to obliterate something with the smallest load possible. Besides, judging by the frantic bustling and scattering of military personnel around him, he might need to keep some for himself for later.

He crouched low in the crevasse near the base of a cannon to obscure himself from view. He listened to the angry ringing of sirens and the frenzied barking of orders around him. He until the area in front of him was clear of people, then he dropped down onto the floor. At once he began channeling the force, working his body into a state of insignificance to the world. He was about to do something risky. After a few seconds, he began running through the chamber out in the open, relying on the disorder within their ranks and the power of his force stealth to keep him from being noticed. Even then, he hoped to exit as soon as possible. He bumped into a single man and he turned, looking at Vlatkat strangely. "Hey, who are..."

"I am no one of your concern."
He said to the man, waving his hand at him by his waist.

"You are no one of my concern."
Vlatkat heard him drone back at him.

Even as he went through an empty exit hallway he could sense something was wrong. He felt a presence, one that didn't bode well for him and his allies. "I sense something." He muttered in to his com link. "I believe someone is here to meet us. Don't let your guard down. I've set the last charges and I'm on my way."

The barrage of blasts continue almost endlessly, only halting every few seconds as the enemy force pauses to switch power packs. "I've been pinned down, have the explosives been set yet? If someone could activate them that should distract this nerf herders enough to let me reposition myself." The situation was dire to say the least, a whole squad, maybe two, firing nonstop the stress was enough to cause Kato to lose concentration. With his immersion in the force essentially shattered, the Sith's passive senses began to wither, creating a blindspot to his right side. "Maybe I should have considered a cybernetic replacement, working with one eye does make things more difficult."

A short break in the barrage provided a split second opportunity to return fire, popping his upper body over the counter and emptying the power pack. The acute observer would notice that all of the shots had missed, flying drastically off course into nearby walls or pillars. "Perfect," Kato mumbled sarcastically to himself as he dove back into cover, sensing an unknown Force User walking through the port before he hit the ground.

"Jedi"

Quickly thinking out a plan the Sith crosses he legs and concentrates, pulling upon the force to help him regain his sight. As he does so two guards draw closer, keeping their blasters aimed at his position as they creep around to his side of the counter.

"Arms outstretched, dead or alive you're coming with us."

"Okay officer, I'm putting my hands out." Doing as they ask Kato extends his arms, drawing upon the force as he does so to fling pieces of broken glass, left behind from the fire fight, into their faces. The two recoil, trying to pick the fragments of glass out of their heads, but are quickly shot down before they can even let out a yelp. Grabbing one of the wounded guards Kato employed the classic hostage shield, standing up to reveal a blaster to the hostage's head. Discreetly activating his comlink Kato subtly messages his partner, "Some assistance would be appreciated."

Oh joy. Not only was his comrade captured. But now he had to deal with some nutjob standing in his path. Apparently one that was looking forward to killing him. Rhem's eyes flickered to the lightsaber in his grip. A Jedi? One that was looking forward to killing him. Had the order lowered their standards a while back? Last Rhem heard the only ones they even considered killing were Sith. And as far as Rhem knew. None of his teammates used the Force in an overt manner.

SO chances are he just found some wackjob who got his hands on a lightsaber.

Sighing, Rhem slung the sniper rifle onto his back. From what he could tell. There was about 15 meters away from each other. It was a plain hallway. With two guards lying unconscious at Rhem's feet. As it stood, he had two options. He could just back off and take another route. But that would take too much time. And he wasn't sure if he could guarantee his opponent not following him.

His right hand flicked out. Throwing a small object at the wall beside him. A simple camera that would record what happened and what was being said. "Surprised a Jedi is so eager to kill. Arent you all monks?" He hokked his foot underneath the blaster rifle of an unconscious guard. Kicking it up into the air and grabbing it. Aiming right downrange at Keita's head. "Alright. You've got three options. Stand down and hand over the saber. Turn the other way." A low hum was audible as Rhem's blaster powered up. "Or you can try and stop me from helping someone. And then I put you six feet under."

Well. Rhem certainly didn't want to kill someone today. But if Keita was adamant on standing in his way. Then the Token Good Sith would have no choice but to retaliate.

Vlatkat listened intently to the commotion on the commotion on the other line. "What did I say about not getting into trouble?" He said, stopping to get his bearings about where he was. Footsteps rang out from down the hall, and Vlatkat hid behind the edge of the turn o keep from being seen. As a guard ran by, Vlatkat grabbed him on the shoulder, then brought his left hand down on the mans temple. He let out a stunted cry of surprise before falling to the ground. His colleagues turned quickly to face him, and he ducked under the hail of lasers that rammed into the wall. He grabbed one mans arm, then leapt and spun the man to pin his assaulting hand behind his back and position the guard as a living shield.

The other guard hesitated to fire back since his comrade was in the way, and Vlatkat placed a kick on the second mans back, sending him flying into the third. The gun stayed in Vlatkats hand. In the amount of time that the third man took to recover, Vlatkat shot the man, one the shoulder that supported his armed hand, a second in his leg. The third man came back at him from where he had fallen and tried to land a blow. Vlatkat caught it and sent flung his momentum forward, sending the gaurd crashing into the ground on his back. Vlatkat placed an elbow strike to the sternum, then stood up. He walked over to the third man who was crawling over to where his gun had fallen. He drew back his foot and struck him on his ear, putting him out cold.

Vlatkat examined the incapacitated guards for a moment, then returned to his com link. "Where are you?" He snapped at before hearing a series of blasters firing echoe down the hallway a bit away. "Never mind, I hear the chaos already." Vlatkat bent down and took the gun from the guards hand, then continued ahead towards the sounds he heard.

Semira was still trying to figure out what was going on when she heard her commlink go off.

"Semira, we have a situation. Come to my coordinates."

Semira started to head to Keita's position, but then paused. The young Jedi heard a blaster fire. And then another.

"Something by me too, can't help you out."

Semira said into the commlink. She didn't like the idea of facing whatever the threat was alone, but it didn't seem that she had a choice.

Running towards the noise, Semira only thought she would find pirates, or maybe a resistance attack. The noise was coming from what was probably some type of military base. There was an entrance nearby, and it looked relatively unguarded. They were probably fending off the attackers. Semira knew it, without guards, the base would be relatively easy to sneak into. She walked up the the door, and, after pressing the door button, found that it was unlocked. The base was in complete chaos when Semira entered, and no one seemed to notice her, even though she was wearing a tan robe.
