I already saw it now that gives me a question. What's a write up and how do I make it?

I mean no offense when I say this, but if you need to ask that question, you should probably hold off on being a faction leader. It's a very demanding job, and it'd be better if you got some more experience under your belt first.

You're free to try it if you like, but I seriously recommend against it. It takes lots of time, energy, experience, work, and effort.

I'm talking about experience as a player, not as a character.

As a player? Then I'm definitely qualified. (plus I'm 17 and I have about 80 years left of life and I put a lot of effort into important things and I've also seen FL's in action I'm very observant.

OK, here's my last message on the subject.

Basically, I started here on this site when I was 14 a few years back. i've probably been RPing here for a total of three years here, with some breaks scattered through, and i'm 18 now. Much like you, I joined the site and almost immediately wanted to make a faction. I was nowhere near equipped to do that. I didn't have enough experience RPing on a fairly serious board like this, I hadn't really made any friends here yet, and my organization skills where nothing. My first faction basically fell apart, and I left the site. I couldn't handle it, and it was a while before I came back. I did end up returning and trying to run the faction a second time. It tanked a second time, and the ghost of that has been following me around for years now. Finally, I made another faction at the start of this most recent timeline a year and a half ago, which I was actually proud of, and did fairly well. But it had it's share of issues, as did I as its leader. Now, about to make another group, I feel like i'm finally equipped for this, and i'm prepared with the knowledge as a roleplayer and as a person to succeed.

I'm not saying to not do this. Running a faction, even one that fails, can be a great learning experience,. Some new members actually have pretty good new indies. But you really need to spend some more time feeling out the site, talking to people, building connections, and improving as a writer. It'll make the jump to Faction Leader even better, because you'll have friends beside you, and the skills to give it a fighting change.

That's all I have to say on the subject. If you do still want to do this, then please feel free to PM me. I've been through a lot of this, and I want to make sure you're able to learn a lot from the experience, and have someone around to help you out.

Please stop double posting. Building a faction takes time, so just be patient.

To be honest, you seem to be lacking direction.

Creating an indie faction just because you want to run an indie faction is not something anybody should strive for and it seems like it is what you are trying to do. Try finding an idea that is really unique and that people will be interested in. It takes a lot of work to come up with an original concept. It is not something you develop in a day or two. I personally tip my hat off to all of our current and former indie faction leaders.

As @Outlander pointed out, your best option for now imo would be to gain some experience on SWRP and get to know other members.

Sorry Aberforth but I'm not gonna back down from my idea now and from what you and outlander said I will wait but I'm not gonna get some more "experience" knowing that I have some of my own and if I'm speaking in a disrespectful tone I'm sorry but I fell really... aggravated knowing that I repeated myself many times I'm not going to get some XP at the moment.
