The lower levels of Coruscant were stocked with all kinds of characters, especially the "socially unacceptable". Those were the people Hardy was after for his grand plan. Psychos, corrupt zealots, power hungry bureaucrats- anyone who wanted to join Hardy's cause. He was, of course, planning a break out- a prison break out on Kessel, to be exact. He was as aware as the entire galaxy of the proud achievements of Nor'baal the Hutt. The masked Mando was so excited to bring his reputation down along with his employers, which were none other than the ISC. The Consortium would receive just as much ridicule as the Hutts for their poor management and hiring skills.

Hardy Wren was wandering down an alleyway where he was to meet a misguided soul who had no direction. From Hardy's research, his name was Raiden ( @Alaricc ) and he used to affiliate himself with the Sith before he left to make something of himself. Similar to Hardy, his parents had given him away, but Hardy was unsure if he thirsted for the blood of his parents as Hardy did the entire House of Wessex- a secret Hardy would keep with him until the time was right. But, Hardy hoped to convince this potentially powerful asset to join him for a while.

"Good evening, exalted one." His voice was not deep nor too high, rather a perfect baritone that utilized pitch to make the huge man seem even more intimidating and ominous. "You may be of an elder age, but I believe I have an opportunity to...enlighten you. What do you say? Will you listen? Others will be joining us shortly, I hope. I would like to introduce you to them as my partner- but that is all up to you, dear Raiden."

The gray cloaked man looks at Wren for a few moments. He appears to be conemplating whether he is friend, foe, or some other type. After a few moments of silence, he speaks. His voice is calm, if slightly on edge. "What matter of enlightenmint would i seek? At that, what kind would you give me, after all my years in this galaxy? I will listen to you, but i do hope it won't be a waste of time." Raiden stands in a sort of attentiveness, giving the man his attention, for what its worth

Hardy narrowed his eyes after the EX-Sith made his opinion known. Skepticism was to be expected, but Hardy didn't like the way Raiden held himself above the bigger man. "You are without purpose, friend. I plan on giving you a path to follow. A path of redemption, glory, and salvation." He was planning on bring down two very large birds with one well thrown stone. A prison break on Kessel was sure to add more to the galaxy's anxiety due to the threat of the Sith Empire. What better way to grab attention from his half-brother who calls himself King.

Hardy only needed to know if Raiden would be completely committed to the cause of sowing destruction to bring order. If others arrived, Hardy only wanted their loyalty and trust as well. He didn't need petty backstabbers and tattle-tales. He needed those willing to die for the soul purpose of retribution for the cause. He needed zealots who wanted nothing else than burn in the fire for others to rise from it's ashes.

"I am a man of...little need. All I ask, is that you trust me. Once you do that, all you seek to know will be shown unto you. Do we have a deal?"

Raiden eyes the man, slight interest in his eyes. "Salvation and redemption huh? How interesting. What if i seek none of those things." He new little about this man, but could feel small pieces of intent, "You want my trust, in exchange for knowledge? What would happen if you were to not know anything of my interest?" He asks. Raiden had learned plenty from his master and the other sith he had known, and new that knowledge in exchange for trust may not always be a good deal, let alone one he can believe in. He simply wished to see his own power grow, whether for survival or for the sake of power.

Hardy sighed.

He had a feeling it would come to this. If the man before him didn't want any part of Hardy's revolution of the downtrodden, then he was an enemy. It was as simple as that.

"Boy, if you seek power...You would be wise to seek knowledge first. One cannot obtain only power without the study of it before hand. You want power? Learn from me. But I can't teach you until you want to trust the teacher." His tone shifted to a much more serious one, and purposefully popped his knuckles as he clenched his hands into fists. It was a subtle threat, but hopefully it would get through to the other man that Hardy had no interest in fighting. Not yet, anyway.

"Your first lesson, boy, will be to understand that you are not in charge." Raiden had pride- Hardy could respect that -but it needed to be kept in check, one way or another. "If you only desire power, I can offer a side of well earned reputation and respect alongside your meager request. If you only desire power, do this job for me and you will have the entire galaxy grovel at your shadow. If you only desire power, temper that urge with long-suffering and you will never bend the knee to anyone ever again. I offer liberty. Freedom. Revolution. Do you want a taste?"

Raiden smiles, he would not show annoyance yet

"If you wish to be a teacher, you'll need to look for someone else. I am no ones student, not anymore. I have knowledge, perhaps not enough for my purposes, but you are yet to prove yourself a fit teacher." Raiden looked at this man, someone that reminded him of his former master. What could be mistaken for ego may also be confidence in ones abilities. If this devolved to a fight, he may not be able to afford to hold back. But from what he could feel, a fight was not imminent just yet.

"You have high bravery to take this tone with me. I respect this, but know that it is a way to get on a side of me you would not prefer" Raiden recognised wren as both a potential ally or a great threat, and he rests a hand on his lightsaber hilt, making it intent that he would treat him as a mixture of the two until he could decide which would be more benificial.

"Power is a good thing to desire, as it is both the root, and final product of anything. But your promises intrigue me, so tell me. What job have you sought me out for?"

Hardy smiled behind his bulky rebreather that kept him alive. The man had finally come to his senses! Surely Hardy could get Raiden to become his first mate for this grand endeavor. He took note of the lightsaber and almost wanted to tempt Raiden into lighting it to see what blade came out of it. This...this was even better news than the Mando had expected- he could now cut off three heads with just one swing of an axe. Depending on the color of that saber, he could bring down the Hutts, ISC, and either the Sith or Jedi.

Hardy preferred it be blue or green as the Jedi weren't fairing too well politically right now and a prison break led by a Jedi would only send their faction spiraling further into the ground. If it was a red saber, then it would cause more unease with Sith Empire and the ISC. The effect probably wouldn't be as devastating as it would be for the Jedi, but it would still be beneficial to Hardy's cause.

"Ah, Raiden, now you are talking!" Complimented the big mercenary. "I..am suggesting a break out like no other. We will get ourselves arrested on Kessel and break out of their heavily fortified hell hole with a number of other potential followers. It is mainly a political ploy to bring down the reputation of the Independent Systems Consortium, but also a way to broadcast the strength and wrath of those who crave liberation from shitty and petty governments. With your skills in the Force and my diplomatic skill set, we could raise an army out of the inmates held captive within a few hours. It doesn't take long for the desperate to look for salvation."

Raiden considered what Wren was suggesting, "So we get arrested, break out, and bring down the consotium." Raiden lets a slight smile slip, what an interesting plan this man had. Perhaps this could benefit him after all. "Now what exactly would lead to our supposed arrest?" Raiden asks. if he didn't know what they were planning to get in, he wasn't sure he would be able to trust this man.

"Simple attempted or first degree murder of Kessel's new ISC Governor; Nor'baal the Hutt." Hardy didn't care if they actually got away with it or not- he needed to break out of prison. The attempt on the Governor's life would be one very clear message, but a prison break under a newly Consortium managed system would send another.

"Do not worry about specifics. I have planned and schemed as hard as I could these last few days. I know every potential entry point, every guard post, the Hutt's general routine- everything we need to assess before pulling the trigger. I planned a specific retreat that will appear as a failed getaway but will only drop us where we want to be- which would be the Kessel Spice Prisons." Hardy wasn't going to spill all of the beans just yet. Just enough to get Raiden hooked so he desired to be fed more.

"So we're killing a hutt. Always wanted to see if those things were killable," Raiden nods, he new that this could go wrong at any moment, but the prospect was to interesting to turn down. He never truely knew what his purpose was, since the sith were to far fallen for him to care, and the jedi were not worth his time.

"Very well. I'll accept your plan." Raiden extends on of his hands, an attempt at a hand shake

Hardy chuckled darkly as he shook Raiden's hand. "Very good, friend. Now, we shall wait for others to join our cause. The more the merrier." Hardy wasn't sure who else would show up, but he was patient and persistent. He could wait all day if it came down to it, he had time to spare. Hardy was excited to see Raiden's talents with the Force come into play, however, and relished the opportunity of working with such a person. Raiden would be a great asset to this motely crew Hardy Wren was putting together.

Now all they had to do was wait for company...

(OOC note: And now we wait)

Raiden nods. He was unsure if he would be able to trust others, but he would have to if he was going to benefit from this plan. He'd gone a bit to far to be arrested though, and he would need to keep his guard up incase the prison knew who he was. If this truely went wrong, he wouldn't have his equipment in the prison, and would need to rely on his force abilities for any sort of sticky situation.
