After repairing his ship Yong Ki continued to pull smaller scraps of metal from the stream as well as some smaller ships most of which were beaten beyond recognition. While dropping off a bunch of this scrap at his junk pile he noticed that what he had originally believed to be A Resolute star defender because of its size was separating into two ships now recognizable as Liberator class cruisers that had been crushed together and apparently the towing had broken them Loose from each other. Wondering what may have been left on board the relatively good condition Kontti replenishment ship Yong Ki sent a team over with a shuttle to get a inventory from it and the others. While he returned to the asteroid field to continue his search.Upon his return with his next load of scrap, his team reported that on the ship they had found hundreds of miles of power cables of various sizes and more than 500 crates of power couplers. There was also a large amount of food stuffs that have been space frozen. There is nothing significant quantity that will not require complete salvage on the other ships other than their exterior guns

On the Protectorate Frequency Kriek sent,"My primary star drive is out but the secondary drive functions fine, I added a tractor beam I salvaged from one of those cruisers, all guns are operational." We are rigging some cable nets with electro-magnetic anchors. I'm going to start loading the smaller ships and various pieces into the holds of the captured capital ships where available. I need all shuttles and around 100 crew to get this done."
OOC sorry but i'm going to be out of touch for the next few days, so Just assume I get this done and follow orders and will be one of the ships that tow the wrecks back to Terminus

Cade had collected his mighty haul of dead ships and his partners had done their share as well. Believing their job here to be completed, Cade said into the comms,"Lets get this back to Terminus so they can begin repurposing these materials."

A handful of the freighters were hooked together in a line to be towed behind Cade's Kontti-class ship. He knew they were in for a long, slow ride back, and hoped the others would be able to reach the home base faster than he.

Cade watched as the Protectorate's men hooked the ships up to their ships and began towing them out of this place of death, he was marginally happy with the work they had accomplished, and had no doubt the Grand Councillor would be enthused as well.

After the last ship was hooked to its tow craft, Cade set his nav computer for terminus, and the ship began moving at an underwhelming speed.

Icerider arrived with nine freighters five of them the the super freighter size. With the work already initiated by Kriek She was able to fill her ships and attach towing devices to several of the larger hulks that had been scavenged from the maelstrom in a very short amount of time.
Yong Ki managed to grab the carcasses of two additional marauder class frigates damaged beyond use for anything other than scrapping out. Attaching them both to his own ship he was ready to go at the same time Cade was ready. Yong Ki was satisfied with the haul, by his count they had collected one Corvette that was repaired and made usable in the field one frigate that could be repaired,13 capital ships that could be melted down after being scrapped out dozens of freighters, plus more than 2,000,000 kg of other scrap that may or may not be reusable. As well as the freight that had been on the Kontti. Throwing a bone to the Jawa’s Yong Ki notified them that they could have the remaining scrap from his pile, he could not cram it into any other corner on any of the ships, so he figured why not...
Sitting back he figured to enjoy th long ride home, “ Open the mead” he announced on the intercom.

"You may open the mead after we return to base." Kaern sternly retorted over the intercom, having brought up a Wookiee translator after finding Yong Ki was here. The last thing he needed was a spacing accident from poor decision making turning this whole mission awry. The things Kae'Tl uould do to him as 'punishment'...he would not look forward to.

Cade:​

Cade was making deceptively good time, despite his preconceived notions of the trip he was under taking, with Terminus now only a few hours away. The majority of the materials and ships had been delivered to Terminus and only Cade and a few other ships remained undelivered, for now.

Reaching out to the stragglers, of which he was one, Cade said,"Home free, gentlemen. Only a handful of hours until R and R." His words rang over the Protectorate's secured comm link, though he'd already finished two bottles of his whiskey by this time.

Once Cade delivered his haul and parked the Kontti class replenishment ship back in it's designated space, he made his way straight to the Protectorate's private lounge for a few more bottles of the finest whiskey.

Kae'Tl:​

Kae'Tl stood at the bridge of the Tayana class frigate, her men had delivered enough of what was asked. She looked out the window to the heaps of ships, and metal and materials. A couple thousand of the KPDY's employees were hard at work, pulling pieces off these dead and abandoned ships, armaments, systems, and scrap being separated into their respective piles.

Nearby, adjacent to the Terminus space station was a hulking chassis of a ship, nearly one and a half kilometers long. Though the hulking metal skeleton was completely dark, the occasional spark from the welders blipped into view as over ten thousand men worked to assemble it.

"Soon...." Kae'Tl said quietly, Soon.... She repeated in her head.
