Heyo. Just got back on the board after an extended absence and while I've got one thread planned already, I'm looking for more to really get in and get my feet wet so I was wondering.. Are there any Jedi that would be interested in meeting up with my Sith, Jorath. As part of his absence, and even leading up to it, he had begun to reconsider his stance on the dark side of the force after noticing the physical changes he was undergoing because of it so.. Yeah!..

Whether it's a social thread in a bar, a battle that leaders to discussion, or really just about anything, if anyone has a Jedi that wants to interact with a Sith Crusader who's leaning more Gray than Dark at the moment with the potential of pushing him further in one direction, hit me up. Really I don't have any OOC preference with where he stands but I'd like to see the character explore his options for the future a bit.

I hereby submit my character Cotan Sar'andor for your consideration.

The link is in my signature.

I have a Jedi padawan who would try to redeem your character if that is alright with you.

Noooo. Not when the Sith are woefully lacking in Warriors.

Would you still be down for him hanging out with Andro at some point?

Yeah. I'm just spit balling ideas at the moment. Not sure about completely going 'redeemed' but a gray sith is a strong possibility so I'm trying to expose Jorath to a bit of everything.

Would love to have Jorath and andro hang out though.

He's such a fitting Sith though. Would hate to see him go with the "good guys"

Honestly I need to update his personality and history. He's really kind of gotten 'scared straight' by seeing dark side corruption and experiencing it a bit himself. It's left me with a lot of questions about what direction to move in.

Doesn't really believe in the Jedi
Doesn't want to rot from abusing the dark side of the force.
Has zero interest in sith politics.
Just wants to genocide the Hutt species.

Poor guy doesn't really fit in anywhere. Just toying with options right now though.

I could offer Mila up for this. She recently left the Sith, but that doesn't mean she's exactly gone off to start preaching the Jedi Code and practicing pacifism either. She admires the Empire, but despises the Empress and her ilk who are corrupting it and ruining whatever promises it still holds for bringing lasting stability to a galaxy divided by war.

Additional perk: her best friend just so happens to be a Jedi Master and she's actually going to begin working somewhat closely with the Jedi fairly soon. But again, that doesn't mean she's destine to become a convert to the Light. Her motivations for doing so are... complex.

Physical corruption by the Dark Side generally only happens to god-tier Sorcerers like Andraste, Sidious etc, who have delved excessively into the arcane. Jorath is pretty safe.

Neither of my Sith are taking sides in the civil war as I'm totally disinterested in it, and Andro is very much a fun-loving, rebellious 20-year-old who couldn't give a fuck about the political situation. She just wants to go on epic space adventures of love, conquest and revenge.

Not necessarily, Marf. Some people are shown to be more susceptible to it in the old canon, and it doesn't always mean Sidious-level changes. It could be like Malak, whose eyes just changed colour and then he went all pale. There's a big spectrum and it happens to everybody, more or less.

Could just be that Jorath is noticing whatever small effects its having on him by now, after what seems to have been a few years at least as a Sith. It's easily possible.

Other than that I don't really have any comments though.

Jorath has so far has only just begun to experience it. He's gotten paler and his eyes have shifted just enough to be noticed and frankly having seen/heard of heavily corrupted Sith, he sort of realizes that he doesn't want to go down that road. So until he's reassured he won't go down that path, he's sort of reacting on self preservation instincts. As to how the change hit him so fast, consider that he pretty much set himself into Force Rage every fight he's ever been in.. That's a whole lot of exposure.. And yeah. I'll be getting back to people shortly.
