It was a late and dreary rain that fell outside. The two were sitting in a small diner on a Corellian night, a few people were there but not too many as it was nearing closing time. She sat down and shared a conversation with him over a few mugs of caffeinated warmth.

It was rough back than, she was younger and he was more ignorant. She remembered it was raining, much like tonight. How in the world they managed to get out of there alive was a miracle of the force. They weren't part of any special operations, no, they'd just been given the mission to investigate sith activity and it escalated into a full blown espionage run.

She thought back-

The night that it all went down. She was dressed tightly in a Jedi robe that she had tailored herself to become an officer's jacket. Her hair was pulled back into a ponytail and was wearing khaki shorts that went down halfway to her knees. Her black boots were padded at the bottom, and made little to no noise scaling the side of the giant tower.
It was difficult to get a grip while rappelling up the side due to the slippery metal and rain. The cord was extended all the way up the side, to the top. If they were to fall, they would end up falling kilometers downwards through the city planet.

They grunted and exerted themselves, pulling at the cord and yanking themselves upwards. Mitya was the first to get onto the roof, she extended a hand and pulled her partner up. They wouldn't have much time to get passed what security was there. Probably patrols, especially atop roofs.

The two let the darkness take them, shrouding their bodies from watchful eyes, pressing their bodies against a shadowed wall. It was about to get sketchy from here on in, with the need for silence.

She peeked her head around the corner, with her hand upwards in a halting signal. "Patrol, coming this way. One female, one male. Let's take em' out quick and quiet.", she whispered back to him.

Their uniforms would make for perfect guises to facade their way through the building. The mission would be easier in the long run with those security keys and the facial masks.
"Stay here, when I give the signal, take your guy out. You'll know the signal when it comes.", she said. She backed up and went around the other side of the wall, there was a ladder leading to the top part of the small utility room that they were leaning on. She'd get a good scope on security farther out and ambush the two. The coast was clear, and she readied herself for a jump.

Breathes went by, moments that seemed so long passed. Her heart rate quickened, adrenaline pumped. They reached the wall. He was probably looking at them from the shadows now. With one last breath before taking the plunge, she dropped down on the girl, she was farthest from him. Her hand covered the mouth and pinched the nose. Her elbow wrapped around her throat as she pulled the patrol off of the ground by her head, cutting off air supply. Mitya would let her partner take care of the other guy.

"Get them in the shadows, quick.", she hastily whispered.

Zev, having just joined the Jedi, still held on to the ways and customs ground into him by the sith. Though he tried to rid himself of it, He was indeed brash, headstrong, and overconfident. His raw power matched that of a strong knight, but he was unrefined, and wild. Bred to be a killer, holding back was the hardest thing he's had to do. This new code was strange to him.

Still, Zevran was chosen for this mission specially by the council. A tst perhaps, but his skills as a cover abductor for the sith aided him greatly in missions such as these. HE wore his old assassin armor, The hood and robe sections of it black, rather than the white and crimson. His lightsaber, still red, for he had not of yet changed the crystal, a reminder of where he came from. He gripped soul void, Keeping her sheathed, and silently nodded at Mitya.

When she moved, He did as well, Using the extreme speed he had become accustom to using throguh many years of practicing Iaido. Zev Silently reached the man, before he knew what was happening, and slammed the bottom of his hilt into the man's windpipe, disabling his vocal cords. The strike was followed by a hard blow to the right side of the man's head from Zev's elbow.

The man, and the woman it seemed as well, laid on the ground, unconscious, were quickly dragged into the shadows, and stripped.

Zevran Stepped out, wearing the Uniform, and motioned for Mitya to give him her discarded clothes, so he may hide them properly.

She slid out of the shadows. She kept her clothes on her, telling Zev that it was perfectly alright. The woman she'd taken out had a backpack, she'd shove her equipment and lightsaber inside of the sac. The mask fitted over their faces nicely, with holes for the eyes. The fabric was soft, but Mitya didn't like the fact that she ad her mouth where someone else was breathing and spitting as they talked.

She walked out into the light with him, and threw the rifle behind her back, adopting the limp nonchalant walk that the patrols carried.
"Okay, we'll probably pass by a patrol or two. Don't say anything, just nod and walk. We'll head downstairs through the lift on the other side of the roof.", she said. The light that small lamps gave off was cold, and the darkness between the intervals at which they were placed was actually comforting. There was too much to lose...

As they walkd through the halls, Zevran placed his hand on her shoulder, under the shroud of darkness. "Still your heart..." He said, trying to sound as comforting as he could. It was true that they had much to lose with this mission, but panicing will just complicate things. "We will make it out of this alive, Understand?" he became silent as they passed another patrol, waving an extremely descreet greeting to the sith guards, who nodded and continued waking. "Let's Move on."

In this place, Zevran seemed... Different. Whether it was the mission or the location, He was far more serious than he was when they first met, or even during the few times they met up off duty.

Mitya was already using the force to slow her heart rate. She learned how to control physically through willpower how to control her adrenaline flow, so not to use the force and depend on it for such things. He placed his hand on her shoulder, it was comforting that the padawan knew what he was doing, but Mitya was still on high alert. She'd only ever been on a few silent missions up until now. Later on in her life though, it would come to prove that she would have much more experience.

Walking past the guards, she checked left and right, the coast was clear besides a few cameras and a credentials scanner on the lift. She placed the card on the scanner and stepped into it's clean, white walls. As the doors shut locked with them inside, it send them barreling down about a kilometer. There was no destination other than the roof and the part of the building that occupied this divisions' workings.
Upon reaching the stop, the lift's doors unlocked and flew open once more. Outside was a silent hallways with glass windows on both sides, leaving room to peak into them. They were filled with buzzing machines and computer terminals.

"They're servers... Those kind of servers are usually used for company networks. We need to find out what they're doing here, what company this place may belong to, and what they don't want us to know about them.", she whispered to Zev. She didn't know if there were any prying ears, but she was confident that there were none.
Down the hall there was a door that led into the room, locked, it would require a slice to get into.

Are you able to speak through your mind? Zev transmitted to her, It takes me a bit of effort, but I can establish temporary connections between you and I he continued, before going silent for a moment, nodding at her.

upon reaching the door, Zev looked over at Mitya, "Hacking isn't exactly one of my strong suits..." he claimed

Zev looked around, while not making it obvious to the camera's, marked each one, trying to find blind spots. "The security is pretty tight" he exclaimed, slightly impressed. "Can you break into it?" Zev asked. This was the sole reason he use to work in groups, to cover his weaknesses. HE noticed a camera focus in on the two of them, "You may need to hurry on this one. Got a feeling things won't be going to smoothly for much longer...

She whispered back to him, pretending to have a rather funny conversation, placing her hand on his shoulder. "I can, but if there are force sensitives around, than it's probably more risky than just whispering.", she said under her breath, than acted as if laughing but made no sound.
"I get you, let's act like we're walking back to the lift to get in it's blind spot. I'll slice the door on the other side of the hall and see if there's a security terminal I can get into."

As the two got under the cameras and across the hall, Mitya pressed her body against the wall near the door. She used the card to no avail, than began working on the pad. It was stressful, watching every few seconds, hearing footsteps of other patrols down the halls. She saw the shadow coming from around the corner. It was walking their way, coming close. The footsteps pittered and pattered louder and louder the closer that he got, and just when she was about to prepare to use the force to pull him close, the door slid open and she yanked Zev inside with her.

It was close... To close this time.
"Okay... Looks like there's a terminal over here. I'll slice it and get you in.", she was already working on the terminal. It was easier than the kriffing door.
The master menu was up, there would probably be a ten minute window before that terminal was locked down and guards were sent to investigate.
"Okay... You're in, I need you to lockdown the doors once I'm out of here. I'll freeze the images on the cameras' feeds. You'll be the only one to get the real footage. When I'm at the door I need you to unlock it and than lock me down inside. If things go wrong send me telepathic messages."

She hustled, moving back to the door and opening it. Nine minutes now.
She scurried across the hall and knelt beside the door, it opened, she rolled inside.

"Booyah... Lock down.", she whispered to herself smugly.

The room was filled with servers and termianls, half of them looked unsliceable.
Which... One...?

She hooked up her datapad to a terminal in commission.
She pulled up the command line and created a mock username with which she'd sign in.

Numbers flashed across the screen and the white and black flashes came before it signed in. The user she created was dubbed Jane Smith. She pulled up the last windows that the termianl had displayed before last sign off.

It seemed that the corporation's name was "Jukt Holocronics"... There wasn't much besides financial quotas and employee listings, bank accounts and credit budgets.
She didn't have time to skim everything, instead transferring the information to her datapad.
Krath... Three minutes.
She logged out and headed for the door.
"Is the coast clear?", she sent a telepathic message to Zev.

Zev Sped from each camera's blind spot, as they shifted positions, nodding as she explained to him his role in this. HE preferred this to him going. From what he know of the both of them, his combat training was far more intensive... and deadly, than most combat situations Mitya has encountered. In turn, Zevran would have a far easier job defending himself against multiple opponents, which was highly likely, considering where they were.

Aside from the monitors, Zev was listening in to the chatter, which seemed normal, but some of the voices sounded... off. "We're in the clear for now" He sent to Midya, "No anomalies in the system, either we haven't been noticed, or they have a silent tracer looking for us." he finished.

A few minutes passed by, and all radio chatter went completely silent,
"Mid, I'd hate to rush you sweetheart, but things just went far too quiet for my tastes." He transmitted to her.

Taking a quick glance at the camera, Zev saw the product of their interfering.

Sith_Inquisitor1000.jpg

darthrevan3.jpg

Two figures, tall, male, both wearing similar garments to what Zev once war. Sith, not true sith, but sith of title. Abduction and assassin division,

"....Hiroke..." The hooded one observed the Jedi before him, instantly seeing through the disguise "...and a female...." His gaze moved from Zev to the sealed door behind him.

"Master?" the other one looked excited, "This.... this is the traitor?" he asked, voice like silk tearing.

Zev didn't respond, Ripping off his uniform, the thin armor underneath. he reached into the pack, pulling out the larger pieces of the armor that couldnt be hidden, and finally pulled out Soul Void, "It seemed it was only a matter of time..." Zev spoke finally.

Mitya... Zev sent to her, Whatever you hear, whatever you feel, stay i that vault, don't come out unless i give the ok, or untill you don't feel my presence anymore... in which case, i want you to run, as far and as fast as you can. after that, anything left in that transmission was silence.

Zev then smashed the terminal, sealing every lock on that vault door. "It is time then..."

Drawing his blade halfway, Zev sheathed it with intense speed, sending the sound wave towards the apprentice, throwing off his equilibrium, Zev then swung his blade, launching a small wave of force towards the off balanced sith. Zevran dashed behind the attack, using his momentum to spin around the apprentice, slamming his sheath into the sith's back, throwing the novice sith into the blade of force thrown at him a moment before, creating enoguh force to slice the boy half way through. his body fell to the ground, dead.

While Zev attacked the boy, he also thrusted the hilt towards the master mid spin, in an attempt to break his jaw covering, in turn his jaw. However, When zevran looked to see what stopped his attack, h saw the master, simply with his finger pressed on the back end of Void's hilt, completely stopping it.

With a simple gaz to Zevran, The sith master sent him flying into the vault door, with enough force to create an audible *thump* which Mitya would be able to hear.

Zev stood with a cough, and held his blade at the ready.

OOC: i believe it's a pretty accurate outcome for a padawan/knight class facing a master class yes?
