I must say, Raif looks rather dapper.

I always knew you were a smart man with exceptional taste.

But thank you - I try to class it up whenever I get the opportunity.

Dad and I decided we'd re-stain the house- the last time we did it was 8 years ago. I live in a log cabin, complete with wood plank garage, so it's a necessary thing for your house to look nice.

I couldn't believe how the wood just soaked the stainer up. It was like me at a Chinese buffet, like, it was incredible. I uploaded some pictures of our progress to show. We did the first side this morning, and the front this afternoon:

Front after! Kinda hard to tell the difference because of the godforsaken sun, but it's there.

We only did the bottom half of the back, but it was so weathered that it took a a gallon and a quarter just to do this much. We're using a slightly less permeable type of stainer- same company, some colour- on the top, because it's cheaper and wasn't as worn.
