I get some facial hair though it hasn't grown out into a beard yet. Every once in a while, I do shave it so that's probably slightly stopped it from getting bigger.

It's a Condor Complete Outer Plate Carrier. I bought it for around $90 USD, including shipping. [It usually runs around $120 USD] It's surprisingly comfortable, but the throat guard can be a pain in the ass if you have to look down to see what's on your vest/at your feet. Luckily it and the groin and shoulder guards are all removable.

Just google the carrier's name, or look up Condor's product line, and you'll find it with no problems. They make 'em in black, ACU pattern, and olive drab, in addition to coyote. Only two sizes, though. M/L and a larger size.

90$ is pretty cheap for surplus gear, most of that you can get up here for about $150 least usually, I get mine free though which is nice.
