Yes. I suffer from depression every now and then for a few days, then I get over it.

Depression doesn't happen every now and then - that's feeling low. Everything I know about you screams depression.

Please don't divert this thread towards me and my living style. They all end the same way and I'd rather not see this thread degraded to that.

What, you post something about yourself that you know is going to attract attention to yourself, and then you ask not to divert the thread when people start responding to the comment?

All of these little convos start that way and you know it. Either start taking some of this shit onboard or stop posting it in the first place.

Someone asks why I wear masks, I tell them why. People ask why I am lazy, I tell them. People ask why I have no hair, I tell them. I tell the truth, then I move on because I would have thought everyone here would know to expect such things from me. Apparently not. I try my best to not start or devulge into into it further, not after that thread I posted about my life style, then everyone basically called me an attention whore and told me to grow up and be "normal" like everyone else.

To quote a famous sailor, "I am who I am". That's it. Nothing is going to change unless I feel like it. Send all complaints/nag rants/shocked reactions to my PM box, cause I'm not going to respond to anymore of them here.

I don't recall anyone asking you to be normal. Ever. From this cword, that's the last thing I'd expect them to tell you. What they were asking you to do is actually help yourself live a life, but of course you don't want to see that. You don't want to see that one day you might actually have to be responsible for something in your life, and that may require stepping out of your house.

You are an attention whore. You post information about yourself that is going to attract attention and then go with it for the next few posts before deciding you can't stand the heat and hide behind trying to be responsible by saying 'we're getting off topic.' If you weren't attention whoring, you'd know that it would attract attention and spawn a tangent in the thread, and choose to not talk about it. Or, god forbid, you'd actually listen to what people have to say. But no, you're perfectly happy going on about how you're a shut-in and you've got no ambition and you're an unhygienic slob. That's attention whoring at its best.

As I said, start taking some of this onboard or simply stop talking about it. If you're so concerned with dragging threads off topic, you shouldn't be posting stuff that will cause thread derailment in the first place.

I like you Mulluns; but GR1M just hit the nail on the head with this one.

Seriously Mulluns, you do have to start thinking about this shit. If your parents kick you out or they die from a car accident suddenly, what will you do? You live at home right? You'll be thrust out into the world with nothing, because you currently have /nothing/ and then you know what'll happen? You'll be ****ed royally. You're like what 20? Time to start acting like it. Quit with the excuses and go out and actually live. Otherwise your very existance is a complete waste of space and air and eventually when you get thrust out on your ass, you'll be so unprepared you'll panic, and end up dead or homeless, neither of which are appealing. It's not a question of if this will happen, it's a question of when.

and his cat, too!

I usualy only shower for the following reasons
Special Occasion(Family Reunion, family outing, going out to dinner, etc).
Done doing Yard Work.
4 or 5 days have passed.

Mulluns, you really need to realize that hygiene is important. It’s not only about the comfort of yourself and those around you, it’s also about your self-respect. Allowing yourself to be stinky, greasy, itchy, and subject to all the other unpleasantness of going unwashed for days is blatantly disrespecting your body, and therefore disrespecting yourself.

Seriously, there is no reason not to shower every day. It's feels good to get cleaned up, and it takes like ten minutes tops - not that you're busy anyway. Why would you want to be dirty when it's so easy to be clean?

This will sound harsh, but I say it as a friend who wants you to change your habits: your current idea of ‘hygiene’ is disgusting and kind of pathetic for a guy your age. Regardless of what you do with other aspects of your life, please please please start showering every day and keep showering every day, starting today. You owe it to yourself. Not to mention the people you live with…

Tops? While you can easily be a lot faster than that, twenty or thirty minutes isn't a bad length for a shower, especially when the water is nice and warm and you're also brushing teeth.

Is that former Gandalf?

Yep, and we decided to name her Zelda. ^_^ I still can't believe we thought she was a boy at first.

I meant it doesn't take more then ten minutes to wash. I often take forty-minute showers myself, as I too love the hot water and I find I think well in the shower. I've never tried brushing my teeth in the shower, but that might actually be a good time-saving strategy for when I have a bus to catch.

Awesome response to everything we've said about you.

Now I say that sarcastically as to tell you to stop ignoring us. Mulluns, a lot of us are your friends. We're not saying this to troll you or get a rise out of you like you constantly think we're doing. We're saying it because we actually give a shit about you, even if you don't give a shit about yourself.
