I thought their goodbye after she absorbed all that kryptonite was executed well. However, she's not a very good actress. Hot though.

The issue was that they didn't part ways by choice, which they should have. Throughout the first half of the season, Clark leads Lois on, only to go shack up with Lana again. Had they agreed to part ways by choice rather than being forced apart, it would've made more sense for Clark to go back to Lois, which he basically did in the next episode. Bringing Lana back just wasn't well executed by the producers, despite the fact that I thoroughly enjoyed all of the eighth season.

I've always thought she was a good actress, though. She's just had terrible stuff to work with for the last few seasons. She really should've been off the show awhile ago, because all she does is hold Clark back.

...And what does any of that have to do with a power exoskeleton...? And why should you not like it because, from what I gather, some dudette on some tv show wore it and you didn't like her? If you don't like things people you don't like have, well, Hitler had hair. Go shave yourself. <eyeroll>

They took something cool and made it stupid, and that stupid thing can never leave my mind. Therefore, anytime I see this, I think of the stupid thing.

Yeah, I agree. It's just that that arc was pretty good by itself, just not when looked at along with the rest of the first half of the eighth season.

Wow, this will ruin the World's Strongest Man competitons. Instead of checking for roids, they'll be checking for exoskeletons.

The arc had its ups and downs, but it also doesn't work well when looked at along with the entire series before that. I mean, Lex Vader? Lex dying? Now I know no one stays dead, but come on. That was lame. The Romeo and Juliet thing between Clark and Lana crashed and burned. Requiem was better than Power, yes, but they both epically paled when compared to Bride, Legion, and Bulletproof, the other three episodes of the "Lana returns" arc.

Thankfully she's gone for good. Her purpose is over, and all she does it make Clark look bad every time she's around.

Lois is hotter anyway.

How did this go from exoskeletons to Smallville? A bit off-topic.

The merger is new, but that exoskeleton is old, It's been around for a year or 2 now, i think.
