It wasn't long after the drive-by that one of the insurgents retrieved a rocket launcher from one of their own vehicles and send the speeder van flying. Cavalas and his fellows were lucky that the insurgent in question wasn't a sure shot and aimed the rocket too low, making the van fly only for a moment and then roll three times down its side before coming to a halt with the engine aimed towards the camp. A better shot would've had them all dead on impact. De'vad's message came through as they were crawling out, but none were too inclined to reply in their current predicament. One of them caught a blaster bolt in his butt and as he squirmed in pain caught two in his now exposed side and chest before he fell lifelessly to the ground.

Cavalas saw him fall and his entire body became too heavy to move, so instead of moving out or shooting back he settled down against the roof of the speeder van and stared into the dead man's eyes. It was the butcher that slapped him out of it. "I need you to take that guy out before he shoots again, I'm-" he showed Cavalas his bloodied arm, it had been crushed underneath the ground and the speeder on its first turnover "-not a dependent shot. We'll cover you the best we can. Just. take. the. shot"

Nodding, the sixteen year-old put the rifle against his shoulder and exhaled loudly, this was it he thought just believe you're invincible and as the butcher started to aimlessly fire Cavalas got out from cover and peered through the sight of his rifle in search of the hostile insurgent with the rocket launcher. He got him in his sight just as the insurgent was raising his rocket launcher for the second chance, but Cavalas, much to his own surprise, kept a steady aim and shot a short burst of bolts straight through his throat and skull. Elated, Cavalas wanted to turn towards the butcher and cheer, but a blaster bolt only narrowly missed his head and gave him another instant adrenaline shot. Dropping to his knees and rolling over the cold cemented ground he evaded another bolt before he got his assaillant in view. This one had positioned himself in such a way that the men under De'vad's command wouldn't be able to see him, but he had forgotten to reload his rifle and caught one bolt in his shoulder and two through his heart.

By now the insurgents that were left were more occupied with running than trying to kill the remaining members of the Dillawaire Company, but when they caught glimpse of the menacing grin of the huge man we've been calling the butcher, they instead decided to drop to their knees in surrender, raising their arms up high above their heads. Cavalas wasn't able to think of victory yet and ran towards his commander, "Sir, the transports" he began, but the butcher merely showed him one of his thick fingers and pointed it towards the air. Two seconds later Bandomeer fighters flew over and another troop ship engaged in a landing close by. The insurgents wouldn't be able to leave with their ill gotten goods now that the Bandomeer Navy had its fighters flying around and with the entire Dillawaire Company putting foot on Concordian ground, it was only a matter of cuffing the insurgents and wait for the Mandalorians to -finally- show up.

De'vads squad had began to funnel the prisoners to safety as the rocket hit the speeder van. "Bugger" he said out loud as the speeder went tumbling away. It was no surprise that the men hadn't replied to him, but he couldn't let them fall under too heavy fire. Dashing from cover he ran across the centre courtyard, his blaster pistols in each hand.

"Focus, focus. Just like the simulators" he spoke in almost a whisper, it was to get himself in the zone, he was in the open and was a easy target. That's what he needed though. His hands moving fluidly and effortlessly he let off shot after shot, his HuD almost guiding his hand to targets he may have otherwise missed. One, two, three targets eliminated as he crossed his arms over, four, five targets down as he ducked into cover.

Suddenly he looked over head as lines of smoke streamed from the sky, his HuD picking them up before they were blocked by bandomere reinforcements flying over head. The streams of smoke became visible once more before seven pods crashed into the ground by the courtyard. The doors burying outwards to reveal a Mandalorian from each. De'vad hid his embarrassment as they approached him, there blaster rifles spraying shots in concentrated bursts.

It was the first time he'd failed to complete a mission. He had endangered not only himself, lost multiple men and reinforcements had to arrive. The battle was short lived after that point, Mandalorian and allied forces sweeping the buildings in quick fashion as De'vad and The remainder of the survivors waited for the higher echelons to arive in the centre courtyard.
