Pre-Timeskip Socials

For those of you whom have been living under a rock (yes, I'm judging you) there's a Timeskip coming! Woo hoo!​

With the coming of the timeskip, I want to get us hyped up for the future and celebrate the end of this portion of the Timeline. As a result I will be hosting (and encouraging other Sith to host) more social-oriented threads for the Sith. These gatherings can be of any variety you like (though I encourage you to set them to Death Disabled). I want to suggest to you that the threads involve more aristocratic interactions between characters and a more "imperial" flavor. We're an Empire now, not a roving warband, act like it!

As for the first one I will be hosting. I am planning on having a Coming of Age party for my upcoming post-timeskip character; Tara Olpierr (that's right, Darth Cain's daughter). It'll be posh as hell and hopefully it'll add some continuity and set the stage for future fun stuff to happen post timeskip. I'm also planning some Military Exercises, Parades, Galas, and other Imperial Socials to get us in the spirit of the Timeskip.

That said; I want to hear back from you all. Will you be attending the party? Is there a particular kind of event you'd like to see hosted during the gear up for the Timeskip? Throw some ideas my way and I can see about turning them into fun activities for the Sith.

I'm adding this to the list. Definitely wanted to do a parade but having a proper Veteran celebration would be great. If you had to pick a world for it to be on, what would you choose?

Might I suggest Ziost? It is the Empire's military HQ after all.

I second Ziost. The alternative would perhaps be a symbolic location on a conquered world but I confess I am not sufficiently up to date on our recent story successes to suggest one.

I'm contemplating making a new character, since I kinda fell out of writing with the ones I have right now, so if I did get a new one and come back to RPing, he'd be there.

Also, Vinny, quick question: If a character is like, acolyte age now, would they be promoted to Sith after the timeskip? A lot can happen to a person in 5 years...

Since the Acolyte position is optional to begin with, if you wanted to have them ranked up after the timeskip, you're more than free to do so.
