Petram Prime/abandoned Cortosis mine
11:36 local time

tatooine.png

A truck cruised across the desert with the sun shining over it. Behind the wheel sat Hask who had draped his coat over the back of his seat. On his hips were his two odd lightsabers and twin Quickdraws with spare ammo cells. On his belt behind his back was his old Westar-1 pistol as well. His right arm was resting against the closed window while his left was hanging on the bottom of the steering wheel. The AC was at full blast while a song played softly over the radio. His metallic fingers tapped the wheel to the beat.

His eyes were on the road, but every now and then he would cast a quick glance at Irolia riding shotgun. A sudden thought shot into his head and he quickly turned to look behind the seat. A rifle for Irolia as well as his carbine were behind the seats in case they needed something with a bit more reach than the pistols. Bandits and wild creatures were a big problem so far out into the desert.

He sighed as he wiggled further into his seat to make himself comfortable. "I don't know if it's my imagination or not, but somehow this place just feels better than Tatooine. Almost like it's more livable...but then again this planet at least has some semblance of an economy and civilisation." he commented casually, brushing his hair back against his head. "I've actually been thinking of getting a proper house. Might get a place on here." he went on. It was clearly an attempt to break the silence between them, relieve that awkwardness somewhat. He wanted to talk to her about their situation, but he wasn't sure how to start it. He doubted she did as well.

"The mine we're heading to was abandoned after it collapsed in several places. A lot of miners lost their lives and they had to evacuate before all of the Cortosis could be cleared. Theoretically there should be enough for us both to buy a luxury yacht each. I hope your ship doesn't cost more than that." he explained, looking over to her with a smirk before looking at the road again.

irolia had been quite on the trip across Petram Prime's desolate surface, sitting shotgun looking out the window. She was glad for the AC working when on a planet like this, for oh boy it was hot. Parrot, however, had been a rather active member of their little weird "family" and explored everything he could and get away with of course. Irolia had never liked desolate worlds, their hot and arid climates really didn't agree with her skin. Then again, it might have something to do with that she's from a much more cold planet. Not that she would remember her home planet, but she at least knew where her species came from. Everything looked the same and in a way, Irolia appreciated the repeatable terrain in as it was relaxing for her eyes.

She had felt her partner in crime's eyes fell on her a couple of times, but she didn't comment on it or even threw a cheeky tease at him. She knew the awkward conversation between them of them sleeping together would come up at some point, but she didn't really know how to start the talk.

Irolia didn't really reply immediately, tapping her fingernails on the windowsill by the closed window. Looking down at Parrot who had found a comfortable spot on her thighs, like a cat. Caressing its dome, she looked forward on the road, "to be honest, it could do with a cold make-over" replied the blue Sith not really digging the dryness.

For the first time, after they entered the truck, turned Irolia her head at Hask, "well, don't expect me to drop by anytime soon then" teased the Pantoran with a small smirk, before turning her gaze back to the open road. "Good, would have hated to go on such a long journey and not get anything worthwhile out of it at the end" commented Irolia, not really giving the poor miners a single thought as them or their lost lives wasn't an interest for her.

Irolia teased about not coming to visit, which earned a raised eyebrow and half-smile from the Pureblood. "Oh don't be like that, this place is lovely! You got warm sun, nice beaches, a lot of open space for a leisurely stroll...I'm sure you'd like to work up a tan, go for that deep navy. huh?" he said in a joking happy tone like a salesman. She went on to comment about not getting anything that made him chuckle. "Don't worry. Cortosis goes for a lot. And the people I know will pay very good margins for the stuff." he assured her.

Finally a small cliff face came into view with some halted activity in front of it. "We're here." Hask said simply and started to slow when he came in range. He moved past the rusted out vehicles, crates and other items. The gun towers look like they had been stripped long ago of all but the barrels themselves. Hask parked the truck and shut it off, slipping the keys into his pocket. He took his coat and opened the door, flooding the cockpit with the heat. He reached in behind the seat and pulled both rifles and a survival backpack from behind the seat. He locked the speeder and handed Irolia her rifle as he worked on putting his helmet on and putting on his coat. With everything set he held his rifle ready and looked around a bit. It was dead quiet, with only metal creaking now and then. Hask sensed nothing up here, but he could sense faint life forms below ground. This won't be easy.

"Come on. I don't want to get stuck here at nightfall." he said to Irolia and led her to the old lift in the mine shaft. "Here's hoping it works." he commented and hit the button to descend. Surprisingly the lift ran like a charm. The slow descent started and Hask leaned against one of the fenced walls of the lift. After a few seconds of silence he took his helmet off and wiped sweat off his brow. "So..." he said, looking around. He was getting tired of the two of them dancing around the topic...but this was probably the worst way possible to start.

"Pfft, in your dreams" replied with a small smile of her own, throwing an empty water bottle at the Pure-blooded Sith's head. "Sounds good," nodded the blue Sith. God that place looked like a dump and had that whole horror holovid vibe to it. If the planet hadn't been so damn dry and excruciating, she might have stayed there the night for a good night spook fun, of course, with the correct gear and everything. The moment Hask opened the door and flooded the cockpit with heat, could Irolia really feel the unbearable heat hit hear in the face. "Ugh, let's just get this over with" stated the pantoran and got out, holding her hand up to shield her eyes from the two suns. She swung the rifle over her shoulder, while Parrot flew beside her, beeping contently beside her, scanning the surrounding area.

"What why? Where did all that "I could totally live here?" go?" Asked irolia teasingly with a raised eyebrow, smirking at the red-skinned Sith. Walking along the abandon mine's outer area, looked Irolia around the place. At least the place didn't have any animals trying to get a quick meal of them, she didn't really want to fight in weather like this if she could avoid it. Of course, if it came down to it, she would not hesitate to jump face first in the danger, but only if it was avoidable.

Surprisingly enough the old lift still worked as if it was new, which Irolia didn't expect. leaning up against the fenced walls, opposite to hask, she stood with crossed arms. Did... Did he really just try to start the conversation about the dreaded topic they both had been avoiding to talk about`, that way? "Seriously? you want to talk about it now? Right as we're about to get a load of highly sort after and valuable Cortosis?" Asked Irolia a bit surprised with a raised eyebrow as her crimson red eyes looked at Hask. This should be good, she wondered how he would go about talking about their awkward first meeting.

Hask sighed at her outburst. "Yes, I want to do it now." he said flatly. "We've been running circles around it since Coruscant." he continued. He turned to face her and rested his hands on his hips. "Irolia, we..." he started but he wasn't sure what to say. He fell quiet for a second before going on. "Kark, this is awkward..." he mumbled then looked her in the eyes. "Something was up that night. Neither of us were drunk enough to not know what we were doing." he finally found his words. "So that night was more than just impulse." he took a few steps closer to her. "I'm not sure what I want to say...I guess I just want to know where we stand with each other." he finally ended.

The elevator reached the bottom and Hask's senses spiked. He created a light in the palm of his hand and held his carbine at the ready. The palisade door slid open and they were staring down a dark cave. It was cool, but a warm gust sailed past them with an odd damp smell faintly following. Hask shone his force light around to get a better look, confused by a few strands of spider webs stretching around. Of course spiders could be down here...but not spiders capable of spinning webs as thick as para-cords. "Irolia keep your eyes open." he said to her, but his tone was much more serious and dark. His skin was crawling and every fibre in his body was telling him to be ready.

The wind was carrying odd sounds like sighing and...crawling? Hask was completely tensed up as he took point. He could sense something was down here. And they were dangerous...

Irolia couldn't believe Hask wanted to talk about their little dance in the bed so so long ago. Why on earth was he so fix on talking about it? They drank and had sex, why did he have to bring it up and make it awkward?! Irolia crossed her arms, "I have no idea what you're talking about Hask, we did shots and then farkled, there was nothing going on. We did a stupid thing and got nothing more to say" stated Irolia stubbornly and looked away from Hask. It was pretty obvious that she wasn't placing everything on the table and acted rather defensive towards to subject as if she was holding back a lot.

Irolia almost thanked for the end of the elevator ride and giving her something else to do, so she wouldn't have to answer all these awkward questions she didn't want to answer. Irolia immediately felt a sense of being in danger and every warning signs in her mind was on high alert. Unclipping her hilt from the belt, Irolia walked beside Hask, following the track made for carts going into the cavern.

She did hear the strange crawling sounds and it crept her out quite a bit. Then again, they were down in a creepy mine, abandon for quite some time now. "So which way?" Asked the blue Sith as they came to a split between going left and right. The sound of something behind them made her hair on her neck rise and she turned around, ignited sabre ready for whatever would attack. But nothing came at them or for that matter, nothing was behind them... Odd, "We're being watched" stated the Pantoran, not liking this operation one bit. Then again, she also wanted that Cortosis so she had enough credits for a new ship.

Irolia was holding back on something. Hask didn't need to sense it to figure it out. But right now they didn't have time to talk it through properly. Hask was completely on edge, his golden eyes scanning every nook and cranny while his senses were on high alert. Irolia asked which way and Hask started to look around. "These mines usually have a map to indicate where everything is situated and how it's all laid out. These maps are usually..." he explained but trailed off as he found what he was looking for. "...here we are." he said happily and walked over.

He shone his light over the map and looked it over, tearing the map from the wall and dusting it off. Thankfully it didn't snake around too much. But something felt off. He heard something like faint raspy breathing above him. He looked up and moved his light up, only to grunt and jump back as he looked right at a nightmarish sight. The spider hissed but before it could move a muscle it was blown full of holes from Hask's carbine. It fell to the ground and curled up with sickening noises. He heard another noise behind them and shone the light to look. Another was getting ready to attack Irolia but he quickly blew a hole through its forehead. "We're surrounded." he said and quickly moved over to stand beside Irolia.

Now several of these giant spiders crawled out from the shadows. Hask slung his rifle onto his back and his crossguard lightsaber snapped into his left hand. One leapt at him but was force-pushed back to where it came from. He drew a Quickdraw with his right hand and drew the force around him, ready to use his powers at a moment's notice.

"Don't let them get close!" he practically shouted and shot one in the head. Thankfully they weren't hard to kill.

While they were busy, one was walking along the ceiling and slowly descended to grab hold of Irolia...

At least Hask knew where they were going, would have been quite typical if he didn't and just went with the flow, hoping to stumble into the Cortosis. Irolia rolled her eyes, "yea no shit," commented Irolia as she clipped her hilt to her belt and started to blast everything that had more than four limbs. Irolia felt the presence of something above her and instinctively turned to shoot at whatever it was, that crept above her. But, before she could shoot, the spider jumped the Pantoran and pushed her on her back with only the rifle between the spider's mouth and the Sith's face. Before Hask even had a chance to come to Irolia help, jumped two spiders at him, one from above and one from his side, trying to get the jump on him.

The spider's powerful limbs tore the rifle in half and went in for the exposed Sith only to be engulfed in powerful force lightning. The spider writhed in pain and also from shock over the sudden lightning. Irolia drew both her quickdraw blasters and filled the spider with holes as she got up. She couldn't stay still for long as more spiders tried to jump her, only to be lit up in blaster wounds as well. "Hask, move and kill, move and kill!" yelled Irolia as she started to walk in the directions of where the Cortosis was stored without firing at every single spider she could see. They had to keep moving or they wouldn't get anywhere.

Irolia got pinned down but before Hask even had a chance to help he was pinned to the ground on his stomach by a spider. One came from the left and clamped down on his cybernetic arm. His lightsaber and pistol were out of reach and he could feel the spider on his back biting down on his helmet. They were too powerful and too heavy for him to push off, and with one arm currently serving as a chew toy he couldn't move at all. Anger boiled in him until he let loose with a powerful force push that sent the spiders flying. In a second he was on his feet, holstering both weapons after recalling them, then he unleashed his rage.

Hellfire poured from both his hands and swirled around them, burning the spiders alive and pushing others back. His golden eyes were turning a sickly yellow as the corruption was seeping into his being. That same corruption he tried to avoid. The fire twisted around Irolia to avoid her and instead cook the spiders coming for her. "BURN!" he roared as the spiders screeched and squealed. He launched quick streams at the spiders as they moved, but the rumbling above him caught his attention. Halting his incinerating onslaught he force-pushed Irolia into the right tunnel and brought the ceiling down as the spiders came at them. The cave-in got out of control and came down worse than he intended.

He dove down and covered Irolia's lightly armoured frame, taking a few rocks against the back and head. The dust finally settled and it was dead quiet. Hask groaned and rolled off her, clutching the back of his head in pain. "Karking hell." he groaned, struggling to his feet. He quickly got back in the moment and helped Irolia up. "You okay?" he asked her, looking her over. Thankfully the big rocks didn't get to them. A few sparks on his arm drew his attention and he sparked up a force light to look at it. An enormous fang was lodged into the durasteel. He chuckled and pulled it from his arm then handed it to Irolia. "Here's a souvenir." he joked weakly and looked around.

He pulled the map from his pocket and looked it over. "Bad news is this tunnel is sealed shut. Good news is we're on the right track and it loops through the lef tunnel. We're still good." he explained. He put the map away and stretched his back. A few pops could be heard from him. He drew a deep breath and sighed heavily, calming down and getting back into his usual happy-go-lucky attitude. "Alright, let's push on." he said with a smirk and led the way. He sensed nothing in the path ahead, putting him more at ease.

Everything just suddenly went to hell and everywhere around them started to crumble, "oh you gotta be kriffing me!" stated Irolia at the whole tunnel coming crossing down around their ears. The whole burning force power didn't even make her flinch, although a force power she's never seened before, it was still almost expected from a Sith. No, what made her think, was the crushing tunnel as the Pantoran had no desire to get crushed by rocks or boulders. Before Irolia could even react, did she feel a gust of wind hauling her away from Hask and into one of the two new tunnels and away from the whole crumbling mess of the first tunnel.

Irolia just laid there, on the tunnel floor, looking up at the rocky surface of the pitch-black tunnel before sitting up. "And I thought my outburst was bad... no wait, they still are" commented the blue-skinned female out to no one in particular. "Never been better, I love getting buried by a kriffing tunnel and then kriffing force pushed, how about you?" Replied Irolia being very sarcastic with a heavy tone of annoyance. She got up on her feet while dusting her clothes off, thankfully in light, created by the pure-blooded Sith. Irolia looked at the enormous fang that Hask pulled out of his arm. She stood with the fang in her hand, bigger than her hand even, unfortunately, the blue female wasn't in a teasing mood and the enormous fang started to crack and shake as it started to get crushed by the force until it crumbled to tiny bits falling from her hand. "Thanks" thanked the Pantoran in an icy tone, dusting her hands off.

Irolia hated when others used the force on her and she was not happy with being the one receiving a force push from the red-skinned pure-blooded Sith. Of course, she didn't really take into consideration that Hask actually saved her from being crushed or killed by falling rocks. Then again, he was the one that created the bloody death trap of a tunnel. "Good to know, you're not completely useless" commented Irolia rather ruthlessly and as they continued to walk at their destination, walked Irolia in front of Hask enough so there was a gap between them. Irolia was quite in the bitchy mood right now and she knew it, but she didn't care, she was still pissed over being pushed by Hask as if she was a ragdoll.

Hask sighed heavily as they walked. The last thing he needed now was her chewing him out for the rest of the mission, especially after he just saved both their lives. But he knew from past experiences to just drop it and let it ride itself out. She'll calm down eventually...or so he hopes. She is a crazy Sith after all. Two aspects that never mix well in any scenario.

He shone the light out in front of the two of them to light up the path. He kept his distance from her, but eventually caught up to get a better view of their route. They reached another junction where he stopped to compare with the map. "Alright the left one doubles back the the left route we saw back at the elevator. We just keep right for the next few junctions." he explained, lighting the path then looking back down to his map. A ripple in the force caught his attention and he shone the light down their route. There was nothing, but he could tell that there was something up ahead. "Better keep our senses sharp. Come on, let's move up." he said softly to her then took point to lead the way.

The deeper they went the warmer it got. Finally they reached the main clearing where an old cart sat with several crates lying around it and one or two sitting inside it. "Well here we are." he said with a sigh and kicked a crate open. Inside was the silvery rocks. "Oh yeah, this is the stuff, alright!" he said with a wide smile, sounding much more enthusiastic.

He looked around a bit before looking back to Irolia. "These rails are still connected. We can use the electromagnetic system to ride the cart up to the elevator with the crates. There's only one issue." he explained to her, leaning against the cart. "To use the cart's propulsion system with the rails we need to flip that main switch. Get the power back online. Problem is if we flip that switch, it will most likely bring the whole mine's system back online...and probably wake up every single spider in this mine." he went on, taking his helmet off and running a hand through his dark heir.

He wiped the sweat off his brow and looked her in the eyes. "So, your choice. Do we want to push this thing all the way and risk getting attacked? Or simply ride it to the surface and shoot any spiders that come crawling at us?" he asked her. In his opinion it was a risk worth taking, especially with a cargo like this. No way could they push it fast enough to stay ahead of the spiders.

Irolia ignored Hask as they continued their walk through the dark tunnels with only a light ball as a light source for them not to get lost. She was still pissed at the red-skinned Sith for thinking he could just force push her around, on top of using her lightsaber! Which she still hadn't punished him for doing and would find a way to do at the right time. Even as Hask finally went to beside the blue-skinned Sith, ignored Irolia Hask, she didn't even try to get eye contact with him.

Irolia looked over the shiny content and had to admit, it was nice to finally see the priceless ore they were going to sell and earn a pretty big load of credits. Irolia thought about their option, on one hand, she hard some steam she wanted to blow off and murdering large spiders with her lightsaber would put a smile on her face. Then again, they would also have to push the damn cart out of the mine and certainly be swarmed by every damn critter in this hole.

Not telling Hask what she was about to do and maybe that was her way of getting back at him thinking he could just push her around to his will, but suddenly every single light and the operating system went live. Irolia had just started the main switch and as a bit of paying back, she didn't tell him about it. Of course, she was rather unfair to Hask as he did force push her to save her, but Irolia was in a sore mood so she didn't care.

A series of loud echoed screeching could be heard all around them, followed by the electromagnetic system powering up and ready to go. "There, let's go," said Irolia nonchalant and lifted a couple more crates filled with Cortosis onto the large cart and jumped on. Already the shadows of huge spiders could be seen at the tunnel going into the cavern that Irolia and Hask were in. Irolia pulled both her quick draw pistols and started to fire continuously at all the spiders crawling insanely fast at the position of the Pantoran and Pure-Blooded.

"Load as many on you can, I'll hold them back," Said the blue-skinned female blasting holes in every spider coming into view.

Hask flinched then looked over to Irolia with wide eyes and a scowling frown. He didn't say a word as she shrugged off the action and started loading the crates in. He quickly slipped his helmet back on and helped her to load it all up. As they worked he heard the spiders getting closer. "A heads-up would have worked nicely, you know." he mumbled as he kept loading crates into the cart. Irolia let loose with her Quickdraws to buy some time for them. But it wouldn't last very long. With every reload they got closer. And sadly Quickdraws needed a lot of reloading...

Hask managed to get all the crates squeezed in on the cart. He took a step or two in front of Irolia and once again bathed the spiders in hellfire. The inferno roared and his left hand started to glow a faint red from the heat. "Get on the cart! Move it!" he shouted as he provided cover for her.

Once the cart started moving he would cease with his force fire and jump on as well. His left hand was still glowing but with a quick focus he dissipated the heat and the hand cooled again. To think Eisa said he needed a ceramic coating. Hah!

His own Quickdraw snapped to his right hand while his lightsaber flew into his left. He cut down and shot and blasted away every spider that got into range. Thankfully these electric carts didn't move slowly and they would reach the elevator in a minute or two. He made sure to hold on while the cart ran along the track. How these spiders kept up was simply astonishing. Finally after what felt like hours of shooting and slicing they reached the final bend and the cart came to a halt inside the elevator. Not wasting a second Hask leapt off and slammed the button to take them to the top. The elevator's door closed just as a spider climbed in, decapitating it and shooting up to leave the body at the bottom. Still Hask didn't calm down. He stood at the ready the whole time.

At the top he helped to push the cart out, then he used the Force to collapse the entrance of the mine. He didn't want those spiders to get out and he didn't want to let anyone fall victim to them. Finally he holstered his pistol and extinguished his lightsaber. With a sigh he took his helmet off and sat against the cart in front of the truck. He sighed again and leaned back to look at Irolia. "Piece of cake." he said with a breath. He looked down at the lightsaber in his hand. He needed a better hobby than this. He got back onto his feet and looked the cart over. "Looks like it will all fit in the back. Come on, let's load up." he said softly and proceeded to load the crates into the back of the truck.

Once that was all done he fell back in behind the wheel and sat for a second or two before starting it up. "Mind loading the guns? I have a feeling this won't be an easy trip back." he said and handed his pistols and rifle over to her.

Yes, Irolia was completely unfair to Hask, but she was in a foul mood and wouldn't give in to Hask rather charming nature or his dashing looks. "Ups must have forgotten" replied the Pantoran sassy. Spider after spider got blasted to oblivion by both Sith, however, when Hask called for Irolia it took a few minutes for the female to knock herself out of her rage-filled state. Holstering one of her blasters and pulled her hilt to her free hand and ignited the sabre while running to the cart, slicing a spider's front leg clean off. Irolia didn't even kill the spider in clear withering pain as she jumped on to the cart and killed as many as she could get her hands on.

Irolia looked on as Hask blocked the entrance completely making sure no one else can get in or out. She turned around and just started to load the crates into the van along with Hask until all crates were loaded into the van. Closing the backdoors and locking it, looked the blue-skinned Sith after Hask going for the driver's seat, so she went for the shotgun seat instead.

This might have been Irolia acting typical girly when hask kept on acting like her being bitchy wasn't happening, but she had enough and ignored his request. She leaned in, turned the key in the ignition, shutting the van off and pulled the key out as she leaned back out. "No I'm not going to load the guns, you and I are going to talk, right now!" Said Irolia icy as she started to walk around the van to Hask's side.

And by talking, she meant the Sith way and she did not hide what she meant, as her hilt flew into her hand and the familiar sound of a bright red blade igniting filled the air around them. Irolia pulled the force to her, ready for a fight and for if Hask tried to use the force on her. Irolia's crimson red eyes stared at Hask as she went for the first strike, a fast swing at where Hask sat and if Hask didn't block or something else to stop her from slicing through the Van and Hask of course.

She reached over and pulled the key from the ignition, insisting they "talk" this instant. But he sensed what she rather wanted to do as he got out. The igniting of her lightsaber confirmed it. He drew the force into his right hand as he waited for her. "You want to do this now, let's do it." he said flatly, his golden eyes burning. She reached him and swung...but he didn't draw his own weapon.

His right hand shot out and grabbed hold of her blade with his bare hand, pouring the force into it to shield his hand from taking damage. At the same time his foot would come up and collide with her gut to send her flying back while holding onto her weapon to disarm her. "In case you haven't noticed, I've been around a lot longer than you, Irolia!" he shouted back, taking her lightsaber into his left hand and then hurling it off to the side. His own lightsabers would then fly into both his hands. His crimson blade and crossguards ignited with their deep hum in his left hand. His yellow blade erupted with a tiny explosion as the hilt extended with a hiss. "What's your karking problem all of a sudden?!" he shouted.

So far he had remained calm and tried to give Irolia room to cool off, but now he was losing his composure pretty damn quickly with the bloody blueberry.

Irolia's blood was pumping, yes this was exactly what she wanted and needed, sadly she got her butt kicked the moment she went for him with her lightsaber. Just he had the balls to show off by grabbing her freaking lightsaber's blade and then he slammed his foot into her gut and sent her flying back. She landed with a 'thud' and rolling around a bit, before stopping on her knees and hands. She spat out a bit of blood and removed the last bit at her lower lip with the back of her hand. Getting up she really felt the kick, kark it hurt and it felt amazing.

Looking back at Hask now really losing his temper, which to his defence was quite fair, taking into consideration what he had to deal with, from Irolia. Irolia's eyes had turned to the piercing blood-red colour as her lightsaber flew back into her hand, ignited. "YOU ARE, YOU FARKING IDIOT!" Screamed Irolia back at Hask. She hated his guts so much right now and yet he's just so bloody charming and handsome at the same time and then he wanted to talk about their little devil's tango, there's nothing to talk about! Right? Of course, there isn't anything to talk about.

Twirling her lightsaber a bit around in a way to get the feeling for her lightsaber before she charged the pure-blooded Sith. She pulled the force to her, ready to push back at anything Hask might throw at her. She extended her arm down towards the ground and tightly closed her palm, which broke free a lot of dirt, stone and sand. Just before she launched herself at hask, she threw the cloud of dirt, stone and sand at hask's eyes to distract him while Irolia herself would come from above, screaming furiously with her lightsaber above her head, slicing downwards.

She recovered quickly and her lightsaber flew back into her hand, igniting once more. Hask's own posture hardened as he slid his front foot forward slightly in a stronger stance. His golden eyes started to lose their glow and instead become a sickly yellow as the anger was setting in. A low growl rumbled from his throat as she screamed at him. "Then come and get me, blueberry." he said coldly.

She charged, getting ready to blow a cloud of dust into his face...but he was ready. Before she could push it up he thrusted a hand out to blow a whirlwind of sand at her with enough speed and force to sting her fiercely. It was simply meant as a distraction for what was to come next.

She leapt up to come down with a powerful strike, just the thing Hask was ready for. His left hand went up and her lightsaber landed on a crossguard. With an instant flick of the wrist he trapped her blade between his own blade and crossguard, taking control of her weapon. Before she could try anything to disengage, his yellow blade flung upwards. For a second he was lined up perfectly to cut her arm off, to disarm and break her, but at the last second he snapped out of the rage and his aim shifted. Instead he would cut dangerously close to her hand right through the emitter to destroy her lightsaber.

If the action was successful he would end with extinguishing his crossguard lightsaber and clock her on the nose with a hit hard enough to break her nose then send her flying back with a force push. If that didn't work, he would be ready for a different attack.

Just as their lightsabers collided each other, locked Hask her sabre's blade with his own and the crossguard. Irolia sneered furiously by his action but what she lacked in strength, she had in speed. By extinguishing her lightsaber, she pulled her hilt back, before getting the hilt sliced into two pieces and reignited it again. There was no doubt that Hask was a lot stronger than her, and that just made her want to fight him even more, it also kind of made her want Hask even more, which she would never admit by herself.

Irolia sneered again as she started to run at Hask with her lightsaber in one hand ready to strike or block whatever attack Hask wanted to do in retaliation. She reached out with the force and released a powerful force push, but instead of directing it at Hask as one might expect, she directed it at the ground where Hask stood on. If the tactic worked, making hask lose his foothold, would the blue-skinned Pantoran swing for his lightsaber blade in attempt to force it out of his hand, but if that wouldn't work, would she come around for another attack.

In truth, when Irolia headed in the direction of losing to her rage, she got very brutal in her attacks, but that came with a disadvantage, there was no real style to them. Her attacks became more or less just wildly swinging with her lightsaber, that in itself was still dangerous, but a much stronger force-sensitive opponent could see through the flurry of attacks from her.

She managed to evade getting her lightsaber destroyed as she extinguished it and leapt back. Hask stood stalwart, eyeing her with sickening yellow eyes. He let the force build up in him as he read his opponent. She was angry, more furious than he was. As a sith that made her dangerous and unpredictable. As a swordsman that made her sloppy.

She released a force push at him ut he could see he wasn't the target. He leapt backward as the ground cracked underneath him, still drawing the force through him. The ground had no effect on him as he coolly avoided it. She was still coming, intent with slicing him in half if not worse. But he didn't move. He let her get close to make sure he finished this pathetic fight here and now. As she got ready to swing he leapt forward to throw off her aim. Likewise his lightsaber clashed with hers to keep it at bay while he simultaneously let loose with all that power he built up.

From his right hand a storm of force lightning erupted right into her face, gut and chest. At the point blank range they were in along with him still holding her lightsaber out of the way, the odds of her defending were very slim. Any lesser people it would kill, but against her it would simply cause excruciating pain and force her onto the ground. If the attack is successful he would slash at her hilt again to properly disarm her.

The feeling of receiving such a powerful batch of force lightning front and centre, was like getting hit by a truck. Not only felt it like being hit by a truck but it felt like fire, burning very single fibre in her being. Irolia fought stubbornly against screaming from the among of pain at first as she stared furiously at Hask with a wild uncontrollable and unkempt rage. Despite her very stubborn nature, the power of Hask's force lightning was too much for Irolia and she squeezed her eyes shut in an attempt to make the excruciating pain go away.

It didn't take long before Irolia would scream up in pain and kept switching between a fetal position and withering in pain. She was clutching her hands so hard straining her hand that the blue colour on her knuckles was started to show a very matte and pale blue colour.

Irolia could do nothing against this attack in her state, other than wither like a worm, twist and turn as excruciating pain charged and flow through very single fibre of her being.
