She can't spell Alderaan, which makes her the same as 99% of the rest of the world.

I'm not sure if it really IS Carrie Fisher though. I mean, I would have hoped she remembered the spelling of Alderaan from the scripts because, well, I donno. I just think she hired somebody to do that stuff for her...like 99% of other actors and actresses and whatnot, especially as she doesn't seem very...technically savvy.

Reminds me of her rap video. My friend showed me it thinking it was funny. It made me die a little on the inside.

I'm waiting for Peter Mayhew's tweet where he misspells Chewbacca.

An actor would tell you that they're not going to remember the spelling of a planet in a science fiction movie they filmed 35 years ago. They're not focused on spelling the lines, they're focused on saying them.

That might be true for a smaller movie, but she made three of them and parodied it plenty, even as recent as the last Family Guy Star Wars. Hell, in some documentary I was watching she even says her friends call her Leia and she responds- I think it might be a little different.

That being said, Carrie Fisher isn't exactly the most 'together' lady out there. I'd imagine she's forgotten a lot.

She also only said the word "Alderaan" in the first movie, and I believe she only had to say it three or four times.

The irony of an actor that played in a movie set thousands of years ahead in technology.
