Dromund Kaas. It hadn't been too long since she last visited it, which was when she had the meeting with Darth Victress. The meeting went smoothly, thankfully, since it always helped having friends in high places.

Today she was just doing a walk through of The Exchanges new stim factory... and spice lab and base. Gil was with her; she was happy about that. It would also be good for the employees to get to know her sub boss, just as much as they should get to know her.

She had made sure all of the employees for this factory and lab had swore themselves to The Exchange. That meant that she'd pay them higher than usual wages, but it was worth it to have loyal men especially when there was a spice lab in the building.

Cait took her first step in the building, looking around as both people and droids were scurrying around setting things up. Though she did notice the lack of camera's so far. They should've set them up first and foremost. That was disappointing, but she'd point it out soon enough.

Looking back at Gil, she asked, "So what do you think?" She did wonder if he had any suggestions for the building as well, especially when it came to security.

Gil had upgraded his clothing from their last mission. He no longer wore the armor of an anonymous mercenary, instead wearing a black suit with a white shirt underneath. He still carried both of his blasters, one in a holster under his jacket and one in the back waistband of his trousers.

He didn't much like their relationship with the Sith. It made him feel like they were putting their eggs in a losing basket. They could have set up shop anywhere, but this is where Cait had decided. He had gone along with it, she was the boss, and so far, her plans had worked out. He still didn't care for it.

They entered the factory and he had to admit, it would be a pretty impressive set up once it was finished. It would generate The Exchange a lot of credits. Hopefully, the price they had paid to get here wouldn't come back to bite them.

"Its impressive." he said "and we didn't have to kill anyone, which has left the help in a considerably better mood than our last outing together." he said, looking to her with a smile on her face.

"Have you thought about who you want running this place? Its much further than Kessel, I won't be able to keep as close an eye on it from Nar Shaddaa." he said as the continued walking.

Cait laughed. That was true, and suddenly she was flooded with memories from their first mission together. Gil had done exceptionally well which was why she had put in the effort to recruit him. She never expected to have a night with him in the end, but she didn't regret it.

"You," she spoke up, stopping one of the people who looked like a tech, not answering Gil's question quite yet. "Why aren't the security camera's installed yet?" The man fumbled his words, looking at her, then Gil, then back at her again. "I-I-I can er... will get right to it miss."

The young businesswoman raised an eyebrow at the man. It seemed that her reputation was starting to get around, because she hadn't met him before so there was no way she could've put this fear into him personally. She wasn't sure she enjoyed that he feared her, though it was good for business.

Turning back, she looked at Gil to answer, "Well," Cait began, chewing on her bottom lip for split second since she wasn't sure how Gil would take the news. "About that."

It was almost like the Force had summoned him right there and then, at the perfect moment, because the man who had given Gil a dirty look, and Cait had slapped, walked out of a doorway to yell at one of the workers.

"I'm considering putting Sisko in charge," she finally admitted, Sisko being the man she slapped. It would get him away from the LL, and the trouble he'd recently caused probably wouldn't follow him here. Even if an employee caused some mild trouble, she usually kept them and tried to help them.

After she answered, Sisko turned, and made eye contact with Gil. He didn't make any expression, but if someone was adapt enough they'd notice that his eyes flashed with anger when they noticed Gil. Though as soon as they met with Cait's eyes they grew a little bit panicked.

"Cait," he said, purposely not mentioning Gil's name. "I didn't expect you so early."

He wasn't a fan of the man. At. All. Cait's greatest asset was her loyalty to those who followed her, but it also had its drawbacks, namely, Sisko.

Believe it or not, Cait slapping the shit out of him before had done anything to improve the relationship of the two men. Gil knew the man just needed a good ass kicking and they would be fine, maybe today was the day, he had a good feeling. "Well, if you were on schedule, you wouldn't have had anything to worry about." he said in a not pleasant tone. It was an unusual tone for Gil, who was usually pretty lighthearted, but some people needed a more direct tone.

They were going to put this to bed. "Cait, why don't check the offices, Me and Sisko here..." he said clasping the man hard on the shoulder, causing the man to wince a bit even though he was surely trying to hide it. "are gonna figure out how he can get this security situation sorted." he said.

She was the boss, if she chose to hang around for this, that was her prerogative though. It would likely make an easier pill for the man to swallow if she didn't witness it.

Regardless he would lead the man. "We have some differences we need to settle, my friend." he would say to man as they reached a more secluded part of the warehouse. Gil took off his jacket, and started to roll up his sleeves. "back on Corellia...when we would have issues, my boss would make use fight it out. Leave it all on the table....and then move on." he said moving to his other sleeve.

"So let's be about it. We obviously got some shit that needs dealin with." he said pulling his blasters from their holsters and setting them down on a crate behind them.

There was a unsettled feeling in the air. Cait could sense it. Taste it. When Gil asked her to go ahead and check the office out, she decided to go ahead and do it. Men were men; sometimes she didn't understand them but respected the way they worked. Nodding, she answered simply, "Very well" and started to walk away.

Sisko, on the other hand, felt his blood boiling and his face turning red. In his mind, this punk had only recently come along and thought he was all that. When Gil put his blaster down, took his jacket off and rolled up his sleeves Sisko smiled devilishly. "You... you don't deserve what you have. You come out of no where and think you can boss me around? HAH" Sisko laughed, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a blaster; aiming it at Gil.

Originally, Cait had decided to go along with everything. Even though she suspected a fight between the two men. But deep... deep down in her very being she really, truly, cared for Gil. For his health, for his safety, for everything he was.... and...and she couldn't bring herself to walk away knowing that he might get hurt. She turned around and went the way she saw the two men go. When she made it to a door she peaked in and saw Sisko drawing his blaster.

"NO!"
Cait shouted, her eye's widening. Without a second thought—and no hesitation—she reached out with the Force and grabbed hold of the blaster, ripping it out of Sisko's hand. She wasn't sure what to do next, but she needed to get rid of the immediate danger.

His hand was already on his knife, getting ready to throw it when he raised the blaster. He would have taken a hit for the blaster, but his knife throwing wasn't half bad and would have likely doomed the man as well.

Regardless, it didn't matter. Before he could fire, the gun flew from his hand as Cait yelled. Part of him, the stupid part, felt annoyed at having been saved by her. This was his fight. The more logical side was understanding, even grateful for the woman. "You kriffing idiot." he said shaking his head.

"You can't even backstab someone right. You might have gotten away with it if you hadn't spent all that time bitching and just had shot me." he said. "Ths is why you will always to someone, you're nothing." he said, looking at the man, a rage of his own building this time. They stood and stared around another for a moment before Gil charged at the man. Sisko raised his hands expecting Gil to punch but he ducked low and wrapped his arms around him, picking him up and slamming him back into some crates.

The man had landed a strike on Gil as the fell, which opened up a cut on Gil's face but Gil had landed on top of the man. Gil punched the man again. again. again. again. His knuckles were all had wounds of their own but Sisko's face lay in a bloody pulp. It shouldn't have been this way. The way out had been simple, but Sisko had sealed his own fate. Gil couldn't go challenged like that.

Blinded by rage, Gil hit the man again, and again, and one last time. The man had likely been dead two strikes ago.

Gil's shirt was covered in blood, his own cut on his face poured freely. He stood, shakily from the few hits he had taken before knocking the man unconscious. The adrenaline held back the pain. He looked down at the bloody mass that had just been Sisko's head a moment again. He shook his head. "I didn't have to end like that." he said

Cait didn't know what to do even after she saw Gil charge Sisko. She remained frozen in place while the two men fought, while Gil leaned over Sisko and punched him over and over and over and over again.

Anger. It swirled around Gil; it was almost palpable. Yet she still waited frozen in place, knowing that Gil would likely suffer after the fight. Knowing that, even though he would, he needed to prove himself. Because in this galaxy, you needed to.

She wanted to interfere but she wouldn't. She still cared for Sisko... she cared about everyone under her employee. And that was her weakness. When Gil spoke one more time, Cait suddenly felt herself moving again despite the weakness she felt in her knees. She didn't know if it was willingly or not, but her body brought her to behind Gil and her arms wrapped around him.

Her head rested against his back, nestled against his muscles. Her eyes closed and she tightened her grip as much as her small body could without the Force behind it. Uncaring about the blood on his shirt that was now getting on hers, she spoke weakly, "I'm sorry." She couldn't help that guilt wracked her. Being paid to kill a man was one thing, this was quite another. "I'm sorry I put you in this situation."

He breathed heavily, clenching his fist, letting himself experience the pain as blood dripped down to the floor. He didn't notice Cait approaching behind him, not until she pressed herself against his back.

She apologized but this was what his life was. There had been a time, on Corellia, he had been too scared to be this person. There were times, he tricked himself into thinking he wasn't this person but this is who he was.

There was no possibility to show weakness. Even showing the smallest amount of mercy was dangerous on the streets of Nar Shaddaa. No, this was his purpose in The Exchange. He fixed problems when they arose, and Sisko had been becoming a problem for some time now.

He let out another breath, leaning back on Cait somewhat. "That's what I am here for." he said. As much as he did find her comforting, they needed to finish this thing. "No sense in both of us being bloody messes." he said turning to face her. He had a cut on his face, that would likely need some attention at some point but none of his injuries were major.

"I'll get someone to clean this up. Then I can see about that security system." he said. His suit was basically a loss at this point, they never seemed to last too long.

"Alright but," she started, still not happy with what had happened to Gil but understanding that it did suit his position. "As soon as you take care of those two things, go to the clinic in the basement base please."

She wanted to reach out and somehow fix his wounds, but she was trained in the Dark Side, not in healing. Healing was far, far away from her reach. "I'll finish the walk through and let you know if anything else needs to be taken care of. I can..." Cait looked at the corpse of Sisko on the floor. "I can put Ren Davis in charge instead. He's caused no troubles for me and he's respectful."

Turning around she walked towards the door, though stopped for a second to give Gil one more concerned glace before walking out. She didn't have to stop for anything else for the rest of the walk through, however, as it seemed like everything else was being taken care of.

While the lab was decked out in the highest quality machines, the orders that had been placed were for cheap chemicals as instructed. That was good. She saw a few doctors she'd talked to over a holocomm who nodded her way. Cait nodded back but said nothing as she made her way down to the basement.

The basement's layout was exactly as she requested and once she made it into the main security room she counted the correct amount of consoles installed. The last thing she checked was the clinic, which had a doctor who was already busy with someone. It seemed that her new members had already chased off some thugs snooping around. It was all perfect, though Cait sighed, happy it was over as she turned around and made her way back to find Gil in order to leave.
