Tycho groaned as he leaned against the wall of the cargo car, one of eight being pulled by two locomotives. The man always got a sick feeling when riding trains. Perhaps it was the movement of the train going forward and the car bouncing around on the track after completing turns. This made the man appreciate being stuck in a ship more. Far more. Man he would gladly jump onto a ship if one came close enough to the train. They had only been on the train for maybe ten or twenty minutes and the officer already felt sick to his stomach. This sucks!
A few days ago he, Miran and Parker had found the goods and other items that hade been stolen from a businessman who called on them for help. But it turns out that the goods were stolen from a gang that is far bigger than they thought. The Rebels had thought they had taken care of the problem by taking out the smuggler gang in the cavern that they found the stolen goods in. But as the trio relaxed and recovered as the goods were loaded into the train, they learned that resf of the gang is more bold than what they fought in the cavern. And from what they were told, more brutal and strategic. There is no doubt that if they were going to stop the thefts of goods that this town need to survive, they needed to find the gang. The best way to do that was to be on board the train to protect the precious goods as the train delivers them to the town the cargo was stolen from.
And boy was Tycho wishing there was another way to find this gang of Smugglers as well as to get the supplies to the businessman.
As he leaned firmly against the wall, the criminal readied his rifle, as well as his WESTAR pistol and Echani Vibroblade. The rebel hoped that this gang will come after the train or this whole trip will be a major waste of time. As well as would mean the trio will have to spend more time hunting down the gang or spending more time on trains until the gang shows up. The criminal wondered how this gang stole from a moving train because the gang that they fought in the cavern were good at fighting but may have not been involved in the initial thefts. So they had to be the ones who guarded the loot.
