Protest groups 'clash' on Tatooine as tensions rise
With protest movements on the rise following the kidnapping of President Thorne, counterprotests have taken to the streets of Tatooine, claiming to represent the "angered supporters of Preef Callo". Describing the Rodian gunslinger as an "outer rim hero", the group - consisting mostly of people dressed as Preef Callo - clashed with fans of President Thorne, consisting of a disturbingly large number of people wearing Sephi ear headbands.
The groups clashed at the main landing area in Mos Eisley, with one witness saying:
"Honestly? Local law enforcement just sat back and watched. It's not every day you get to see a human in a full-sized Rodian morph suit getting taken out by a grown man with sephi-ear headbands and a huge tattoo of Thorne on his chest. You know - I dig the dude, but seriously?"
Protests have continued across the city, with one onlooker saying "this is the most excitement Tatooine has seen in years".
