DESCRIPTION​

The PTY-01 is the first gun manufactured under the name RayeTech Industries. It is made of relatively good quality materials, and each piece of blaster is hand-made. Because there was no space on it for an ironsight, it has a non-magnifying scope on the top, which has a holosight, but it does not provide any benefit other than the ability to aim with the blaster.

It is not yet available on the market, it can only be purchased from Olman Raye directly.

LEGALITY​

It is legal to carry this weapon. If a system has any regulations on blaster pistols, then that would also apply for this gun.

INTENT​

The intent for this blaster is to be the first one produced by my character, and later his company, RayeTech. It will provide an actual item to use in RP as well, when talking about his products. Once my character establishes a shop somewhere, and starts mass-production, it will be available for everyone to use.

since only you have it and it can only be bought from you It will need yo be advanced and you would probably need to do a plot explaining how come only you have them

My character builds these guns, that is why only I have them. Also he did not sell any to the public, that is why nobody can buy them yet.
There are other generitech items at the moment that are unique to a character, because it was designed by them, so I don't see why a generic gun like this would be any different. If the holosight makes it advanced, then I can certainly take that out of the description, and make it a generic blaster. I mostly need this for RP reasons.

advanced does not mean it all ways high tech. You right up explains how the only way to get them is to buy them from you. That blurp makes it unique. Those personal gear in generic are either customized gear or one of a kind and not for sale. The fact you selling this is why it should be advanced in my eyes.

Alright, I see what you mean. My 'argument' with this (for the sake of discussion, I will be fine with whatever ruling I get here :) ) is that the person, who has a one of a kind generic armor at the moment, he could still sell it for whatever price (within reason) he wants to a PC, and none of them would have to do a plot to receive a generic piece of tech. As money doesn't really have much of an effect in the game, and generic items are more skins of the same thing. So no PC should and will ever go out of his way to RP out getting this gun from me, because they can simply write a thread where they get another, almost the same gun from a random vendor on the street.

as i said most of the one of the kind stuff is modified or so unique due the charters needs, aka body type. All so i would not take what happens in Gen land as stone.

Only what I have in my character sheet. He has the education and equipment to make them, that's it.

yeah i think @Loco is going to want you to work to get the equipment to build a blaster. I mean it not like you making a spear.

While constructive criticism for fellow members regarding rules and comparison to current approved tech is appreciated and encouraged, @Andrewza, please don't presume to know what I would want.

@Arclight approved of the startup company in the profile, so thats good enough for me. Without any magnification or special targeting effects, the holosight is a non issue.
