Question About a Faction

Was thinking about starting up a new character but I don't know what faction to make him. Are smugglers pretty prominent here? I don't know how active I could keep my guy if I make a smuggler.

Smugglers are a widely used character but don't let that discourage you because all it means that you have plenty of other smugglers to RP with. Plus you can do a lot with any type of character as long as you talk with people for RP.

As per factions the republic can always use more characters

Could I do something like a smuggler/rebel pilot? I don't want to be cliche and do a Han Solo type character but... I kind of want too.

Mmm not the classical han solo. Republic is not that weak. But BA could all ways use pilots that fly covert ops.

Well there isn't really any rebelling happening. Though there are a few criminal factions that can use smugglers like the exchange. You can have more than one character so don't worry about not being able to explore more

Cable and exchange could use smugglers.

I don't know much about either of there organizations. I remember the Exchange from Kotor, but that's about it. lol

They indie facstions. Exchange is your criminal enterprise the cabal is your secruit shadow organisation.

The Exchange is indeed your SW criminal organization from KOTOR. Pretty awesome it's included on the forum right?

The Cabal is more like the SW version of (James Bond's) Spectre. You might've seen the last James Bond movie where the organization and its boss were the main villians. I'm in that faction myself to represent the somewhat Genoharadan side of things (also from KOTOR!).

The Accord also takes smuggers. My character Evie is a smuggler for that organization at the moment. A contractor to be specific.

If you're interested in being a smuggler, the Accord (My Faction) uses Smugglers pretty frequently. And we're pretty chill guys.

I like all three factions, personally. The Cabal seem like the exchange in a sense and the Accord seem like the "good guys" of that spectrum... I might go with the accord. Just because I want my guy to be pretty neutral. I guess I could always switch factions but I don't know how that goes with The Cabal and The Exchange. Things might get messy. Lol

My character is relatively neutral. I worked with Outlander to set up a contract where Evie can essentially take jobs from other people so she's not limited to being just the "Good" guy and instead can follow her own definition of morality and what she thinks is good.

What she said. I'm pretty flexible with people's place in the faction and such.
