I want to inquire whether or not a certain modification would be "allowed"/"acceptable."

I've been trying to finally finish my time skipped profile, and while in the market for a new ship I thought of a few modifications that'd work really well for my character, but I'm just not sure how far I'm allowed to go. For all I know, what I want to do is completely allowed and I'm just worrying too much, and technically that's not the only issue I have, but it's the most troubling one.

Anyways, I should probably just get to the point already...

I decided to go with a corvette that seemed like something my character would use, but due to its original nature, it comes with features she'd have no use for (the medbay+laboratory and all four escape pods). However, due to the interests of my character, I thought of useful replacements for these 'unneeded' facilities rather easily.

(This is where I finally talk about the modifications I wanted to make that I was unsure of.)

1- Would it at all be possible for my character to replace the medbay as well as the laboratory with something that suits her needs a bit more, that being a sort of "command console" which will provide her with a more efficient and orderly way to compile, organize, access, and etc. the large amounts of data she collects from her informants?

2- Another 'redesign' that I wanted to make would be to replace two of the four escape pods with physical databanks that include sensitive information, of which would continuously be added upon until further upgrades would be required. The idea of it is that in case Zisria's ship is forced into a critical condition, and she was therefore at risk of losing her central connection- as well as valuable data -, those two escape pods would at the very least make sure that the most important data would remain.

PCs are not allowed to own corvettes.

Here:
"Player Characters may not own capital ships. Capital craft are owned exclusively by approved factions. (This is another way of saying player-owned ships can't have turbolasers)."

Unfortunately, Outlander is correct.

HOWEVER.

I'm pretty sure you can own a freighter or gunship, so you can use those as alternatives. Unfortunately, most are pitifully small compared to a corvette, but it may or may not work depending on what you need it for :)

I wanted to have a "mobile command center" of sorts that can store at least one shuttle.

For my character's whole 'information network' thing, it wouldn't hurt to have a good amount of mobile hardware.

I'm not sure about the allowability of a single character having control over an 'information network'. @Dmitri or another admin will probably have to rule on that.

On another note, I'm sure you can submit a ship tech profile for a freighter which can carry a small shuttle, or even just create a modified version of an existing freighter and put it in your char profile.

Estates/stations are a bit of an iffy thing. Generally former as long as not ludicrous is typically okay. Stations not so much. If you want a mobile command center ask for permission from the corresponding faction leader
