NAME: Ragien Daour
FACTION: Imperial Knights
RANK: Knight-Errant/Creeper Extraordinair
SPECIES: Zabrak
AGE: 37
GENDER: Male
HEIGHT: 5'9"
WEIGHT: 165
EYES: Green
HAIR: N/A (bald)
SKIN: Pale Brown
CREDITS: 1000
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Traditional Zabrak Facial Tattoos
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes

*STRENGTH: 6
Daour is not considered to be overly strong, but he does have a slight advantage to the regular fighter.
*DEXTERITY: 6
Daour was never the most agile person in his class. But he doesn't let others outdo him without at least putting up a good fight.
*CONSTITUTION: 6
Daour can take a few hits, but he prefers to avoid that.
*INTELLIGENCE: 7
Though considered more a smart-ass, Daour is actually rather intelligent. He prefers to pay attention and make an assessment before moving.
*WISDOM: 7
Because of his higher intelligence, Daour can learn faster and easier than many, and applies those lesson with equal efficiency.
*CHARISMA: 8
Daour had always preferred to keep himself out of the spotlight. When it is unnecessary to fight, he will always try to talk his way out...which he is naturally skilled.

*Galactic Basic
This is Daour's first language, one he knows well.
*Cheunh
While Daour cannot speak the official language of the Chiss very well, he understands it and many intricacies of the language. His intention on learning it was more for hearing others than speaking it.
*Mando'a
Just like Cheunh, Daour knows enough of Mando'a to either get him in trouble from speaking it, or get himself out of trouble from hearing it. Unlike Cheunh, he does not recognize some of the more "refined" (if you would call anything Mandalorian refined) words.

*Force Jump 4
While he can launch himself to certain heights or distances, he does not make attempts to be overly agile and noticeable.
Force Sense 6
This is one of Ragien's most useful powers of defense, and he will use it when in too much danger.
Mind Trick 7
When Ragien is in area's he might be in danger his favorite form of distraction is to bend the minds of his enemies. It's also quite useful in passing guards without notice when Force Stealth isn't an option.
Force Stealth 7
Force Stealth is one of Ragien's most used abilities aside from Mind Trick. He believes that being a civilian Zabrak is more important than being an intimidating tank of Iridonian destruction. At least until the proper orders have been released.
Force Weapon 6
In Ragien's mind, you never know when you need something to be resistant to lightsabers. This is his answer to that problem. Nothing can't be solved with a little know-how and a lot of Force ability.
Hibernation Trance 4
Ragien has used this Force ability only a few times to save his own life. This included when he was nearly killed attempting to save a supply frigate from a band of space pirates as well as one time when his cover was nearly blown by Imperial and Sith personnel on a mission that went awry.

*Form V Shien/Djem So 6
Shien/Djem So has always been aggressive, though rarely was it so aggressive that it was wanton destruction. Though Daour is not specifically aggressive, Shien and Djem So fit perfectly for quick elimination of opponents when they are caught off guard.

Because Ragien is so old, he has experience with a number of things. His past, being colored, has given him a view of the galaxy that can give him the edge in combat. While he can be a smart ass, he has a way with words that can keep him out of trouble, get him out of it, or get him into trouble (if he wants). Thanks to his training and wanderings he has gained many skills that can be used just well enough to throw off his trail. It has also given him a lot of time to learn ways to get past Imperium soldiers and even some lower Sith without detection or his cover being blown.

His secretive nature is so set that even when he is around his allies he doesn't give much more than he needs. Thanks to his relative lack of comparable strength and dexterity to his usual opponents he is less effective in a head-on fight.

*Model 12 Defender MicroBlaster Hold-out Blaster Pistol
Being disposable, this is considered Ragien's true "Throw-away pistol". He rarely has one on him unless on low-profile missions where he can get away with a few blaster shots and just throw the weapon away. Otherwise he deposits them where he can when he is settling into a city. Once placed, they are only removed when in desperate situations or when during emergency relocations.

*Model Q4 Hold-out Blaster Pistol
This pistol is considered by Ragien to be his secondary hold-out and is equipped almost exclusively on low-profile missions or when he is completely dark. He will NEVER take this into a situation where it can be easily caught as it is an illegal weapon.

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Model Q2 Hold-out Blaster Pistol
The Model Q2 is one of, if not the only civilian-legal hold-out pistol in the galaxy, despite heavy regulation on the matter. As such, if Ragien is in a system where this blaster is legal he wears it as his main to throw off guards that might search him.

*Slicewire
The slicewire became one of Ragien's favored 'weapons' for up-close-and-personal type surprise kills. It's wire, or blade, being strong enough to cut durasteel or plasteel made it perfect for some situations, and has become one of the few weapons he is almost guaranteed to use on high risk infiltrations.

*Dagger
The wide array of uses and ease of concealment makes the dagger the only weapon that is always on Ragien.

*Lightsaber
Ragien almost never has his lightsaber on him, or even in his view. His consideration for even keeping the object has been less about self-defense in a pinch and more about his past. His was built of durasteel with cloth wrapped tightly around the handle, and the blade is veridian. He does not, and will not acknowledge it's existence in any way.

Clothes
Because of how many items he carries on him he will occasionally sport a gunnery/trench coat, though this is rare for obvious reasons. He is also typically in loose clothing that both covers any weapons on him and provides him with attire that blends with the local populace.
He does, however, have armor-weave clothes tucked away for the most dangerous missions and when the order goes for the Knights to publicly war against the Sith.

Daour is a smartass, but only when in proper situations. He avoids talking about his past, and about anything in general with few exceptions. His stoic demeanor hides everything else underneath, especially any fear he may have. He can, however, become angered, or saddened. Both are emotions he uses to fuel his combat.

Unnamed Imperial Knight
A cunning deceiver, and the man who saved my life and introduced me to the Knights. I hope to one day meet him again.

MORE TO COME EVENTUALLY

Ragien Daour, born Ragou Dagein on Iridonia, born to two wealthy Zabrak parents in the heart of the planet's Capital City, was a natural disgrace to the pomp society he would be raised in for twelve years. He was a trouble-maker, loved to sneak about and steal things. He was occasionally caught stealing from his own parent's to feed families of the some of the poorer Zabrak youths he met while sneaking into the streets at night.

However, what truly made him special was the ability to manipulate objects from afar or sometimes sense another's presence, allowing him to get away easier. His mother always spun grand tails of some kind of 'force' in the universe and the mythical struggle between two sides of that 'force', the Jedi and Sith. These were his usual stories, a collection of what might he become some day with his odd abilities. But his favorites came later in his twelve years on Iridonia, the ones that truly stuck in his mind: stories of knights who served the galaxy's governing chair, or rather served the rule of the bright side of that universal 'force'.

These knights were ones who seemed far more heroic than the poised, subtle, sentimental Jedi. They knew honor, and loyalty. Despite the trouble Dagein got into all the time, he was always loyal to the throne of his people, and felt loyalty to the unseen throne of the galaxy he lived in. It was a trait he would hold on to, always wanting to be like the mythical knights.

Things would always be the same for the young high-society scoundrel. He would sneak out, steal and be charitable, sneak back in, get a story about the Jedi or the knights. Then he would sneak out again and be back in time for breakfast. His days drolled on, blending into spontaneous sleep sessions and irritatingly effective wake-up calls by way of cold water or other drinks, or a slap by the stick a teacher held. It was the same day-in and day-out for him...until someone came for him.

In the middle of the night a man came for him, dressed in robes like the Jedi, and carrying the symbolic tool of the Jedi, the sword of pure light. Dagein answered to the man respectfully, seeing a living hero before him. He played the part of a street rat, no family and no where he called home, though the man called his bluff.

After the human male had spoken with Dagein's parents, he was turned over to the hero Jedi, and taken to the order to be trained.
Age twelve was the start of a nearly 13 year period of training under the Jedi who had brought him to the Temple on Tython. His Master, Jedi Master Con-Huo Qaed, was a practiced man. He learned his Force abilities quickly, many times calling on the Force to protect him while he crept. He would also learn to utilize a lightsaber in From V Shien/Djem So rather well, quickly becoming quite proficient in it, despite his lower amount of strength.

Not long after he had turned twenty, Dagein went on his first mission. It was supposed to be a fairly simple support mission guiding a supply ship through trade routes that had been experience piracy troubles. Because he had learned early on to pay attention to those gut feelings he would get, he requested to be aboard the supply ship. Believing it would be to their advantage in case pirates did attack, Master Qaed and the ship captain allowed it.

A pirate ship did eventually appear, boarding the supply ship rather quickly. Master Qaed, believing his Padawan could handle the situation on the ship, commanded ship-to-ship combat against the pirates. However, when the pirate ship was crippled he had to answer a small nudge in the Force telling him to check on the boy. What he found, when he got on board, was the bodies of numerous pirates having been practically hacked apart. He also found his Padawan in an "entirely too aggressive form of combat" with a vibro-blade wielding Pirate.

Though the pirates would be defeated, the supplies safely delivered and no casualties on the side of the suppliers, Padawan Dagein would find heavy chastisement from his master for the way he fought, sparing no single pirate. The combat had surprised the Master, showing him that his Padawan was not only proficient with his lightsaber, but also somewhat ruthless in combat. Because of this, Dagein would spend the next five years under heavy observation from his Master, and rarely allowed to conduct missions alone, or at least without his Master present.

Shortly before turning twenty three, Dagein would be involved in a Galactic Alliance support mission in the outer reaches of the galaxy in which he would lose his Master of eleven years. Despite the heavy combat and the loss of Master Qaed, the Padawan would go on to spell victory for Alliance forces. Because of his bravery in combat, and his apparent growth over the past five years, he was granted the rank of Jedi Knight, despite his flare for aggressiveness.

After becoming a Jedi Knight, Dagein found interest in other Force Sensitive organizations throughout the galaxy. He began travelling to meet with those who would see him, training in the ways of many of those organizations. On occasion he would end up receiving praise from Masters in the Order because he would help some of those organizations or their people in some rather dangerous missions. However, those two years in which he gained much favor with both the Order and many of it's allies would come to a sudden halt after a spat with a Jedi Consular over his opposing views from that of the Order. Eventually he left to study with one of the more secretive organizations he had found, sending only a few reports in a single year.
While Knight Dagein was off travelling the galaxy, spending his credits, helping the people he went to study with, and generally training with many Force Sensitive organizations there remained reports that he was further distancing himself from the Order over those years, eventually relinquishing the traditional garb of the Jedi for more unorthodox clothing fitting of some of the groups he trained with. Though it was a worry of many Jedi that he would fall away for good, few went after him.

Five years after he had left a Knight who had trained beside Dagein as a Padawan left to find him and bring him back, hoping that his old friend was not to be lost for good. Months of searching would turn up little to point him in the right path, but a tip from a local on Onderon led the Knight to the scene of a disaster in Corellian space, where a shipping frigate had been attacked and nearly destroyed in what appeared to be a pirate attack. While investigating the ship, the Knight found his old friend laying seemingly dead among the bodies of numerous crew members of the ship, tell-tale burn marks of blaster fire coating all among the dead. He would return to the Jedi Temple on Tython to present his findings, and Dagein's lightsaber to his Master. From then on he was assumed dead by his own order.

In truth, Dagein had been in a state of a hibernation trance that had saved his life, being brought out of it by an Imperial Knight working with Galactic Alliance officials as his cover, though Dagein would only learn this several months later from a contact of his in one of the more secretive organizations he had encountered.

After his supposed death at the hands of Pirates, Dagein would change his name to Ragien Daour, as well as changing his appearance completely. Rather than the well groomed Jedi Knight Dagein, he was Ragien Daour, working as a spacer, a spice trader, and once a low-key arms dealer on non-Alliance worlds to cover his tracks and leave the life of the Jedi behind completely.

When the Sith Empire showed itself once again, Daour watched the havoc spun and the wary, non-aggressive take to engaging the Empire by the Jedi Order. He also got the chance to see his parents killed when their 'space yacht' was attacked by Imperial forces at the beginning of the rising conflict. However, his hatred and desire to destroy the Imperium did not show until the Empire was under the control of the Sith.

With the resurgence of the New Sith Imperium, Daour left his covers behind to return to some of the Force Sensitive groups he had met before his 'death', training with a few of them for years to bring his abilities back to their light and to make a new lightsaber modeled after his original, but this time with a viridian blade.. After a few years of training, Daour set off on his own to destroy the Sith where ever he met them. For some time, an amount he is currently unsure of, he moved from place to place, constantly covering his tracks as well as he could. It was while he was under the cover of a cook on an Imperium-controlled planet at the age of 32 that he met the Imperial Knight who had awakened him from his Hibernation Trance on board the nearly destroy frigate years before...
Recognizing the Knight for what he was, Daour tracked his movements for a few months until he came up with usual locations for him, and his 'home'. However, by the time Daour had found it, the Knight had relocated off-word. Following the nudging the Force gave him, Daour covered the place in every way he could, eventually finding a datapad logging a dead-drop several locations that seemed hopelessly unconnected.

After several weeks of working with the information and covering the city he 'lived' in, he found that there was a central area that connected all of the locations in the midst of a highly public commercial zone. After cross-referencing everything he already know about the locations the Knight frequented, as well as the locations on the datapad, Daour found himself at a dead-drop location in a secured back area of a nightclub; the only thing left behind being a hastily written note on a heavily encrypted datapad with the name "Dagein" carved into one of the sides.

Nearly a standard month later, Daour cracked the code and found himself surprised to see that the Knight had known about him, and was actually sent to watch him in hopes he could be recruited. But when Daour start tracking the Knight's movements, it nearly cost the Knight's cover, forcing him to leave the planet and leave behind a 'note' with the name of a planet on it: Iridonia. In days Daour had destroyed anything that left knowledge of him, destroyed the datapads and all information on the Knight, and left the planet hopping on a trade run to his home planet under the guise of a trader-for-hire going by the name 'Kerlo Narm'.

However, before the ship could make it to Iridonia yet another pirate attack occurred, though strikingly different from almost any previous attack he had experienced or seen. Sensing that he was the only person on the ship in actual danger he made the decision to leave the ship by escape shuttle that was captured only moments later. When the shuttle pod was pried open, Daour stood face-to-face with the Knight that he had been tracking, having merely seconds to absorb the information before being knocked out cold.

A few days later, Daour woke up in a cell where he would be interrogated by strange officials who didn't seem to match the parts they played of Galactic Alliance officers. After days of questioning (and the occasional beating), the Knight Daour had been tricked by stepped in to speak with him face-to-face. In the conversation following Daour learned about the Imperial Knights, confessed his past relations with the Jedi Order, explained how he was able to follow the Knight so well and where he had gotten his training from, and, eventually, was offered a place in the Imperial Knights. Knowing their stance on the Imperium as well as their loyalty to the Light Side of the Force, the chair of the Galactic Emporer, and their hatred for the Sith, Daour accepted and was immediately sent to another planet, the whereabouts he was never told of, to be officially granted entrance into the Imperial Knights and receive his training.

Because of his training with the many Force Sensitive groups in the galaxy, Daour was well ahead of the class and beyond prepared for whatever they had for him. Knowing his skill already, and because of an anonymous letter of recommendation, the Imperial Knight entity known as HIGHCOM quickly brought him into Knight-Hood, and after a few years he attained the rank of Knight-Errant after not only spoiling an attempt by the Chiss to draw out terrorist cells and locating safehouses on a planet under the rule of the Ascendancy, but created heavy confusion for the Chiss cell tasked with the job from the inside-out by way of misdirection.

Really good profile, I like it! Just one question, how old was he when he was accepted by the IK?

You made a slight mistake in the combat section of your skills. The six you used for his lightsaber form is on a separate line, or is it supposed to be that way? Anyway, I like the character. He reminds me a lot of Bao Dur for some reason. Then again, most Zabraks do. Whereas most people hear Zabrak and assume Darth Maul, no, not me... Bao Dur.

EDIT: Actually, not really. It's just because it's centered and the coding may have screwed with it. Thanks.

editing with all the coding in that post is making my head hurt. :CFuu

Yeah, excessive coding will screw with your head. I just thought I'd mention it though, so there was an opportunity you could correct it.

Yeah, but with the correction came an idea to help with formatting. I lost count after six times going back to find the same spot again. Not to mention at first I thought it was something else...and checked it three times or so. So I have a headache.
