CHRISTOPHSIS, LEGION STRONGHOLD, 21:34 LOCAL TIME

Darth Victress prepared her forces, bringing the sizable battalion of over 200 Sith Troopers along with a brigade of Humbler tanks through the treacherous rainforest and on an uphill climb. A white cloud of mist concealed their arrivals, only growing visible as the heavy blaster cannon turrets drew into firing range on the stronghold. Instead of attacking however, oddly enough they came to a halt and merely remained there. A myriad of crimson lightsabers erupted from within the ranks of the ground soldiers, signifying that the troopers were accompanied by an assortment of acolytes and Crusaders alike.

The Stronghold itself was massive and well-guarded, its throne room remained concealed within more than two feet of pure cobblestone and concrete. However, its only weakness were a series of passageways that led to the outside as well as hidden tunnels that ran through the swampland. A sudden crackling of noise could be heard to the guests within the throne room, as two bodies of royal guardsmen were sent flying through the wooden doors. As they were ripped off its hinges, oakwood shards and debris exploded outwards into a spherical epicenter. The bodies of the guardsmen rolled to a stop on the unwelcoming ground, evident that their deaths were caused by the crushing of their trachea, throats nearly collapsed inward to the diameter of a small flute.

Lights momentarily dimmed as the wails of tortured souls echoed through the chamber and the room itself fell into an unnatural chilling cold.
Darth Victress soon emerged from the broken doorway, the fallen blade held firmly in her right fist as the ghastly weapon radiated with its gruesome crimson light. Force palpated off her being, as her gaze silently fell upon those gathered before speaking to the Clan Leader himself.

Voice robotic and corrupted, Black Hades personified the powerful Sith Lord fully, casting her as a fear inspiring sight.
"I apologize for the intrusion my Lords, but it seems an audience is necessary.." She said, drawing a locus of dark sided energies to her in preparation if these diplomats dared attack.

Victress had always had such a flare for the dramatic, Inheris was fully aware of that. But it worked more often than not, and she could certainly appreciate that. She herself knew all too well they powre of a well placed word, or media stunt to secure something one needed.

Today was no different.

The dim lights and the echoing of rain on the roof of the fortress bathed the night with clear import, the finality of the proceedings taking place would have been obvious to Chirstophsis's Clan Leaders even without the appearance of Sith Lords upon their doorstep. Like the omens in stories of spirits and madness, it was a dark and stormy night as Darth Victress announced their arrival to the hall.

If the lords looked outside, they would see the strength arrayed before their walls. If they were smart they'd play the game with them and see it done before making any stupid decisions. But, Saorise knew that people didn't always work that way. Neither did she. But the offer was on the table,

"We come with the chance to talk" Saorise stepped forward with a polite smile. If the masked Victress behind her was the power, she would be the smiling face offering to intervene. Dressed down, armour and weapons hidden beneath a cloak of depp purple, she would try to appear the amicable one, ready to talk. Both paths then would be open to the diplomats.

But which would they take?

She closed the distance across the hall, her arms open in a gesture of faith, and awaited their response.

All the lords had gathered to talk about some important matters. It was in the middle of the meeting when the two Sith came barging into the room. All of the people in the room consisting of only humans. The one in the middle at the head of the massive table by the name of Maxjus looked to the two Sith.

At first he will appear just as startled as the others. The other men looked and talked to each other in panic and confusion. The Clan Leader looked to everyone before looking to the Sith. Gathering his composure Maxjus stood up, gesturing to the empty seats that happened to be right in front of him. One one the left and the other on the right, "Please. Take a seat. Let us talk. I am sure we can have a passive discussion of what has brought you to come to us." The man will say with a slightly heavy accent.

After saying his piece and in a ways welcoming the intruders, he will take a seat. The rest of the lords looked at him as though he is an idiot for letting their potential executioners into the room with them. Which yes he did. But Maxjus wanted to try talking to the two Sith first to try to peacefully talk to them.

As Maxjus gestured for them to begin the discussions, Inheris smiled a little as she strode over to the marked seat at the great feasting table that lay in the rooms centre. The Clan Leaders hall was impressive enough, but that was what you got when you were the planets top billing.

Sitting down with flick of her coat, she sat with strong posture, back straight, hands laid together on the table in front of her as she coolly looked the many Clan Leaders in the eye. Good to make her presence known. It was a different one to Victress's, even if they were force blind they'd feel that. Hopefully that difference would pay off,

"Well now" she began, her eyes falling back to Maxjus "it has come to our attention that your people are the pre-eminent clan of Christophsis. Even among the crystal forests people can sense your authority, your strength" Inheris's honeyed words dripped from her tongue as she worked to warm up the men across from her to fall in step with her,

"We want to share in that strength" she finished with a sly smile as she straightened her back up, and gazed over the assembled men. If Victress wanted to continue, now was the time. Otherwise, she waited, ready to see if the Clan Leaders took her meaning and were ready to make a deal.

Darth Victress smirked and relinquished her lightsaber for now, taking a seat as it was offered by the Lords of Christophsis. Her armored form was menacing as it was intriguing, surely, the Lords would wonder why a member of the Dark Council had arrived on their world. While she was fully prepared for hostility, to shed blood of those gathered in this chamber, for now, they would resort to diplomacy for as long as it was viable. "Darth Inheris speaks truly..." she said, her voice cold and robotic as her attention drifted from lord to lord before resting on Maxjust.

"We are well aware of your predicament, warring clans and rival strongholds. I see that you have brought these lords here so that you may all resolve your differences peacefully. But, unfortunately, I have been able to see right through that.." She said, her voice cold and robotic as it meant to levy a thread not towards Maxjus but the others. After all, it was in the Empire's best interest that their warring parties would remain feuding, as wars were seldom a bad investment.

After
Darth Victress had called out Maxjus' bluff, she turned to face him, curious as to how he would handle this. Would he refute her and justify his barter with the other lords gathered here today or would her turn on them. "Or.." Darth Victress said, "We could just kill all of them right now..." The statement was said but there was an instantaneous lashing of outcries from those gathered in the chamber. The dark councilor herself though couldn't help but relish in her sinister laughter.
