History:

"I lived for them."

Corellia is home to many thousands of different people. Each with their own goals and dreams, desires and asperations. Some will die, and some will move on to a better day, and yet even others will find love in the arms of another. These are the facts of life, the only constant in this place is that there is no constant. Everything happens as it will. Or as it should. Yet, curiousley, certain people try to ignore these facts, they board themselves up in their mighty estates and look down on those around them, flaunting their inherited money and living in the clouds. Two such people were Andrew and Mary Evans.

Born into an extremely wealthy family, Raphael Evans was an only child. Spoiled rotten, the boy grew up knowing only the finest Corellia had to offer. From schooling to dating, Raphael was well known at a young age for his interest in education. Mr. Evans was proud of his son, and often bragged about him in public. Mrs. Evans, renowned for her beauty and wisdom, loved her husband and her son. Together the three of them made the ideal family, much to the envy of family friends and aquaintances.

Mr. Evans worked long hours for the Aesir Corporation. The security corporation earned him respect, and more importantly lots of credits. While Mr. Evans was out earning the family's extravagant manor, Mrs. Evans met with friends and often threw big parties, attracting everyone from famous musicians to the local mayors and govenors. Using her wit and charm, Mrs. Evans managed to secure numerous grants and scholorships for her son, enrolling him in Val Davis, one of the more prestigious private schooling institutes. Raphael quickly became known for his excellent math skills. He was almost inhuman, solving equations and numerical problems at a startling speed. Yet Raphael disliked math, and often found a way to weasel out of assignments, instead he focused all his energies on his History classes. The boy was fascinated by the tales of the Sith, Republic, and Mandalorian history. He would often take his textbook home to read.

Happy and content, Raphael found himself increasingly in the public's eye as he grew older. His mother thrust him in to every social gathering she could find. As a result, Raphael made friends quickly, and often partied hard. The young boy was quickly growing up. Despite his good fortune, his mother and father became enbittered torwards each other, often lashing out at each other due to various political and social pressures. All of this came to a boiling point when Raphael went with an Imperial Army recruiter to take a physical fitness test. Raphael had begged his parents to let him do it, even though they made him promise to never join the Imperial Army. During the test, a DNA sample was taken, showing that Raphael was NOT his father's son. The press got a hold of the information before Mr or Mrs. Evans had even heard. The Evans household became a battleground. Screaming, fighting, shouting ensued as each parent blamed the other and a sixteen year old Raphael. Deciding to leave, Raphael enlisted as an officer in the Imperial Navy.

"I fought for them."

Cadet Evans used his natural mathematical affinity, and became a Navigator for the Sith. After several months, Raphael's ship was engaged in several battles with a large force of rogue Mandalorian pirates. Using his navigational skills, paired with the captain's brilliant tactics, they managed to defeat the enemy flagship. Lt. Evans became a hero, his use of unorthadox, and completely improvised navigational methods used during the battle became legend. Soon Lt. Evans was teaching classes at a Sith Naval Academy. During this time, Raphael fell in love with another officer by the name of Ashley Montegue. Ashley dated Raphael for two years. As Raphael taught, and tried to make something out of his new life, he found himself talking with his dada again, it had been four years, and much had changed. His parents had filed for divorce, but Raphael's mother gave birth to another child, thus legthening the process. At twenty-two years old, Raphael married Ashley. The two spent a long honeymoon on a private area ship just above Kamino. Exactly nine-months later Raphael was the proud father of a baby girl. Naming her Carrie, the two parents took leave from their respective jobs to spend time with the newborn. Raphael loved his daughter, and couldn't imagine the thought of leaving her.

The next day he applied for a job as a permanant professer at the academy. He was granted his wishes, and pulled out of the Sith Navy. Teaching Navigational technologies, Raphael was in his element. He may have liked Navigation, but the war hero truly loved history, he spent many hours studying the public Imperial holocrons, absorbing information and learning much. Spending half of his time teaching, and the other half with his daughter and wife, Raphael had his plate full. Yet not so full that he couldn't visit the Corellian Institute's famous library. Here the professer learned about the Sith and Jedi's history, the Bendu, the Shadourian order, the history of the Nupaq crime family. These things all fascinated him. It wasn't before long that the man found himself going on self-funded expeditions into space to find ancient ruins and texts. His loving wife remained at home and took care of Carrie during his absence. During one of these expeditions Raphael stumbled upon a small stone, pocketing it, Evans took it home to study, and found that he had discovered a major artifact, an ancient DNA manipulating device, developed by the ancient Arkanians. Publishing his find, Raphael was the center of scientific attention. That was when Raphael was introduced to the Scientific Guild of Human Advancement. These scientists paid smart individiuals to undertake missions to find lost artifacts, armed with only scant clues and their own ships, these individuals wandered the galaxy, looking for ancient artifacts and selling them to the guild. While Raphael was away, tragedy struck. For the first time in his life, something went truly wrong.

"She died because of me."

Carrie Evans was pronounced dead on arrival at the Corellian hospital. She was buried three days before her sixth birthday. Raphael received a message from his wife. The cause of death was determined as a blaster shot to the head. After visiting the coronor, Raphael recongnized the body. Well what parts he could still recognize. Carrie had crawled under the bed and had been playing with a small metal box....the safe had been left unlocked. Apparently she had picked up the gun and gone to show it to her mother, who had screamed for her to put it down, and the scared girl had looked down and dropped it.

Ashley refused to talk to Raphael for months, and eventually filed for divorce.

Hitting the bottle hard, Raphael became an alcoholic chain-smoker. He also was diagnosed with situational Bi-polarism, or Chronic depression. The severe mood swings and insomnia attributed to the loss of his job at the academy, but Raphael refused to take medicine, no, he would deal with this on his own.

Now at twenty-eight years old, Raphael is working for the Scientific Guild of Human Advancement. Wandering the galaxy in his ship The Veritas Raphael works to forget, tackling each new puzzle with zealous abandon, he never stops working. "The Bloodhound" as he is known, is a newer name among the archaelogy circles, but he is fast becoming known, tireless, he takes no breaks, not until he has sovled the puzzle.
