R’ashtaro was a male Reiko Fiani Force-sensitive affiliated with the Jedi Order during the Force Eternal era. He hailed from a Fiani diaspora on the planet Nimban in Hutt Space. He was known as an upstanding and principled Jedi, who was nonetheless frivolous and quick to laughter. By 158 ABY, R’ashtaro had dedicated himself to the Order’s pursuits of beating back the encroaching dark side and the tyrannical regimes that sought to extinguish the Jedi and the light they stood for.
Biography
R’ashtaro grew up in a relatively minor settlement, even by Fiani standards. The Fiani presence on Nimban was, by all accounts, curtailed by the fact that the planet was marred by regular conflict between the Syndicate presence there. Many who settled with the Fiani on Nimban eventually moved on to settlements on other planets or forsook the Nimbanese settlement in favour of a life in the capital cities, Kirill and Aganis. As a result, the settlement never surpassed a hundred inhabitants.
Far from isolated, the Fiani on Nimban traded and dealt with the Nimbanels as well as the criminal elements that came past their settlement. The Fiani community that originally settled on Nimban shared a martial tradition that came to influence their dealings with the various factions on-planet, with many of the Fiani working as personal security for members of the brokering clans and mercenaries in Nimbanese employ. Most had a reserved and suspicious opinion of the various criminal enclaves, but endeavoured to remain on good terms with them as long as they left the Fiani settlement alone. However, being generally opposed to the criminal elements on a Syndicate-aligned planet meant that they did experience occasional conflict with the planet’s bad apples.
R'ashtaro was born into a lineage that traditionally served as the champions of the settlement’s storykeepers, the family around whom the community first congregated. Him and his siblings were trained to fight with honour, integrity, and free will, respecting authority only as long as the authority itself lived up to the principles of decency and valour that guided them.
For a long time, it looked as if R’ashtaro’s lifepath was to mimic that of his lineage. This was not to be the case. A few years out from growing his second tail, R’ashtaro was discovered to be Force-sensitive. He knew that if he wanted to harness this power, he would have to seek out those who knew how to wield it. However, leaving his community wasn’t easy, especially since one of his sisters was slowly succumbing to an illness that eventually robbed her of her life. But he was also aware that staying behind endangered the settlement, for Force-sensitives were rarely left alone by the various factions in the Galaxy if discovered. So, the evening after standing vigil over his deceased sister and partaking in the traditional collection and compiling of the memories the community had of her, he departed Nimban and sought out the Jedi. It would be many years before he returned to visit.

Personality
R’ashtaro is all about honour, integrity, laughter, lightness, and remembrance. He is a lover of stories and tales. By no means a flamboyant orator, R’ashtaro prefers choice, concise words over fluff – by Fianese standards, that is. By galactic standards, he may seem to possess a certain bardic quality.
R’ashtaro is also a curious individual. While his years with the Jedi have embedded their doctrine within him, he is not a conservative. The best and most relatable stories often contain both light and dark, and as such he believes the darkness to be necessary. However, he does not underestimate its dangers and recognises the threat the Sith and other darksiders pose to the Galaxy at large.
