Kalistra cursed herself as she sprinted down the narrow alley way of one of the lower levels of Nar Shaddaa. There should have been more back up, there was no way the Alliance and Mandalorians should have succeeded her. There had to have been a traitor, a spy, something. She refused to believe the Sith were so weak to have been bested by a few mongrels and their jedi cowards. In between the roving gangs of criminals, the Mandalorians, and Galatic Alliance buzzing about the planet, escape seemed unlikely. Though, maybe if Kalistra could ditch her Imperial garb, she'd have a decent chance of catching a ride on an outbound shuttle. Though, for that she was going to have to wait a few days at leas-
"Hey, it's one of those Imperial bitches! Grab her!"
Her thoughts were interrupted by a pack of hooligans who had no idea what they were doing. A group of three men rushed her from a side passage, two armed with pipes and another held what looked to be a blaster. The two idiots who thought it was a good idea to rush a Sith acolyte were stopped short when her lightsaber went through their chests and out the back, the poor bastard with the blaster tried to take off, but Kalistra cut his plans short as she sunk a throwing knife into his neck. "Ugh, there is trash everywhere on this planet...." She cursed, and deactivated her sabers. She needed to move, and fast. With that, she would leave the three corpses behind, and press onward, reaching into a wider street. She needed to find a place to lay low, and fast.

Hey, it's one of those Imperial bitches! Grab her! Rayne had been chasing this deviant for some time now, and it seemed the locals were helping her locate it. Rayne had been rooftop jumping, one of her favorite ways to travel through cities, when the voices yelled from just one alleyway over.

Rayne got to the ledge just in time to see a pair of crimson lightsabers deactivate, and the Sith that had been holding them throw a well aimed something at the third man that made home drop. Ok? Rayne said softly, these three actually engaged the Sith? Rayne thought.

Rayne lept to the next building, adjacent to an actual busy street this time. Rayne kept low, keeping a well trained eye on the fleeing Sith, she would have to follow it, and wait until her moment, the Kelborn way, this many people around could only cause problems, for now rayne kept up, her stealth and speed mixed with her keen eyes allowed her to keep track of the Sith hopefully without drawing any attention to herself.

Kalistra looked around her, trying to find somewhere she could hold up in, and found it in a run down looking building with it's door no where in sight. She quickly entered it, found that there was good reason for it to be abandoned. Electrical wires hung from the ceiling, floor and wall panels had been taken apart and throw about the floor, and it seemed that a leak had formed somewhere in the building, as a pool of water sat unmoved in the far corner. There was hardly any light source to be found here, so the Sith moved to take up shelter at the far corner of the room, having no need for her eyes, as she had the force to guide her. Having done that, she would begin to move the wall panels towards her and begin creating a small barricade with them, but keeping an eye on her force senses to alert her of any intruder who dared try and enter this building. She was not in the mood for visitors right now.

The Sith had moved into a run down building off the street, not that 'run down' was a term that only described one building on Nar Shaddaa.

After circling the building, Rayne had determined that the thing had planned on hiding out inside. After a sigh, Rayne said, Fine.. and lowered herself down to the street level.

Rayne had planned on kicking in the front door but it was already missing. Today just wasn't her day. Rayne took out her Renegade Heavy Blaster Pistol, holding it firmly in her right hand, and took hold of two of her grenades, one fragmentation, one HH - 69 "Hue hue" Adhesive Grenade, in her left hand. Alright Sith spit.. Rayne said, as she walked up to the door. In the darkness Ray saw movement in the far corner, Rayne quickly underhand threw both grenades, the fragmentation flying first with the adhesive just behind it. Only the adhesive was primed, but the thing wouldn't know that.

Rayne followed the flying balls with two shots toward the movement with her Renegade Heavy Blaster Pistol, the light from the bolts revealed a perfect wall in the room full of muck.

The bolts slammed into the wall and the room returned to darkness, until Rayne activated her flashlight, bringing light to the dark room.

Kalistra had just began to set up her barricade, when she felt something move outside the door. Ugh...more rats. She thought, and drew a lightsaber. She sensed a grenade enter the room, and immediately tossed it back with the force. Both lightsabers were ignited now, as the flash of a grenade went off and she found herself coated with the adhesive grenade. She let lose a series of swear words as the plasma coated her body, but was thankful she had a little bit of cover from a the panels near her. The two blasters that sounded into the room would be met with her two lightsaber blades, as she held them out in an 'x'position in front her her. She felt her attacker's presence, and was disgusted to find a Mandalorian before her. "Filthy primitive beast....I'll skin you alive for this!" She screamed. Lifting up a panel, Kalistra hurled it at the Mando, hoping to make her retreat outside the dwelling. She was Sith! Who the hell did this mutt think she was attacking her?

The grenade had found its mark, and the Sith was covered in adhesive, she wouldn't be moving any time soon. The Sith had dropped some of the panels, and slapped her bolts with her now activated sabers, good, Rayne needed a better target..

A single panel, came flying toward Rayne, running forward, Rayne slid down on her knees, the panel flying overhead by about half a foot, as she slid, Rayne loosed three more bolts, aimed low shin level at the highest, if these bolts hit they'd likely take off whichever leg it contacted.

Rayne had slid right to the inactive grenade, scooping it with left hand, spinning on her left knee and throwing it even after hitting the primer, trying to land it in the adhesive pile the Sith was stuck in.

Kalista scowled as the Mando avoided her attack. The three bolts that came screaming towards her stung at her legs, as she parried two but was unable to stop the third as it struck her and burned through her boot. She screamed and let out a force push towards the Mandalorian, not enough to send her flying, but enough to send the granade back at the Mando. "The moment I get out of here, I am going to wring your neck out!"

Rayne rolled as hard as she could in the opposite direction of the now incoming grenade, shit! shit! shit! shit! shit! She thought as she rolled. The thing exploded and three pieces of shrapnal embedded themselves into Rayne's left leg armor. Whew.. Ray thought, her armor would need some fixing, but at least she hadn't died, by her own weapon no less..

Rayne pulled out her Chanti Blaster Pistol with her left hand, she had hit the Sith in the foot, and it was still stuck in the pile of adhesive, the interior surroundings making the adhesive all the more affective at sticking its prey still. Rayne let loose a total of five bolts, four from the Chanti Blaster Pistol, and the last one from the magazine of the Renegade Heavy Blaster Pistol, the four from the Chanti were focused around the Sith, more as a distraction, and to make any sort of dodging difficult, the last one, the heavy bolt was sent straight towards the Sith's lower abdomin groin area.

Kalista stretched out her hand and brought a floor panel up to block out the blaster shots aimed at her, but two got through and slammed into her chest. Thankfully, the adhesive was starting to give way, but the pain in her abdomen distracted her from her efforts. She channeled that pain into power, and for a moment, she unleashed a burst of Sith lightning from her fingers and sent it hurling towards the Mandalorian. The adhesive was definitely weakening though, and once it did...there was going to be nothing left by Mandalorian cutlets.

Rayne breathed hard, seized, and strained as the lightning struck her, it took everything she had not to wail out in pain, this was her first experience with force lightning, and was not a fan.

Rayne loosed three bolts tword the Sith, not very well aimed, but hopefully it was enough to make the Sith drop the lightning. Once it did, Rayne would roll backward to put some more distance between her and this evil thing.

Kalistra stopped the lightning, as she ducked down past the bolts and felt the adhesive grenade finish its hold on her. She cackled and rushed toward the Mandalorian, two sabers twirling in front of her, as she fixated on her rage and hate. She was slowed by the shot to her leg, but once within range, she would bring one saber across in a horizontal slice, and the second would cut vertically. She wasn't thinking clearly. She just needed this woman dead. And now. The stinging sensation in her abdomen was building, and with it so too was her fury. She. Was. Pissed.

Scrambling after the backwards roll, Rayne jumped out of the window backwards, loosing two more bolts toward the mass of swirling blades. Shit shit.. Rayne said as she thudded to the ground a few feet below the window, jumping out of the first floor window meant she didn't have far to fall till she hit ground.

Rayne curled and was able to stand up shortly after hitting the ground, with her arm up and pointing, Rayne yelled to the near by masses that had seen her fire bolts into the building she had flown out of, That imperial bitch is inside! In the hopes to draw some aid to her cause. It worked, and a small handful of low life criminal types responded by running toward her direction, excellent.. Rayne thought, some backup would be helpful.

Kalistra cackled as the Mandalorian was sent tumbling out of a window, and went to her knee as the pain in her chest began to flare up. She was about to begin her pursuit of the woman after a moment to recover, but did not expect the bitch to start to announce her presence. She turned off one of her sabers and pulled a throwing knife out of her side holster, and chucked it at the Mandalorian with the boiling remnants of her rage fueled strength. Now there would be more rodents to waste her time and energy on; she would have to be efficient with this one. She took up a position at the wall nearest to the door and waited for some poor bastard to try and storm in, only to be bisected as she would ignite her lightsabers and carve into whoever was dumb enough to confront her.

Half of the red light that illuminated the interior of the building had gone out, a second later Rayne's right shoulder was struck by something metal as it bounced off her armor, the impact stung slightly but it did not pierce. The arrival of the angered citizens gave Rayne enough time to quickly reload her Renegade Heavy Blaster Pistol, and her Chanti Blaster Pistol. Rayne could see the soft light near the interior of the doorway the people were running toward, they'd die, and Rayne knew this, their only purpose here was to allow Rayne to distract the Sith so shshe could reload and reengage. Just as the first two got close to the door, Rayne booked it for the widow she'd just jumped out of..

As Rayne soared through the air, she loosed everything her pistols would give, all six from her Renegade, and the full fifteen from the Chanti, not all the blasts could connect, but Rayne figured the Sith would be busy with civilians and this would give Rayne her opening.

Rayne slid across the floor after emptying her blasters on this evil bitch. Finding her bearings she rolled to a standing position, holstered her pistols and unslung her Beviin Light Repeater, if this imperial scum was still standing Rayne was ready to light her up again.

Indeed the civillians had given the Mandalorian an opening, as the Sith carved through them with impunity. After the first four were cut and bisected, the rest began to retreat; how many of them had seen a lightsaber after all? Though, not before the Mandalorian flew back into the room and opened up. Kalistra was busy with the murdering the rioters, and took one blast to the back, before turning out of the way. Rayne's shots didn't all land on target, as some unfortunate rioters were on the wrong end of the barrel, but a total of five of her shots had struck the Sith, who was now worse for wear. Kalistra stumbled back, her arm going limp and dropping one of the lightsabers in her possession. She reached out of desperation for an loose ceiling panel above Rayne and slammed it down on top of her, before falling to one knee. Her armor was smoldering now, as her back and front armor was worthless, her right armored section was totally gone and now had cauterized blood coating it, and her left arm was just barely saved by the armor. She contemplated on retreating, but couldn't find the strength. She hoped the panels would buy her time.

Rayne had been given no time to celebrate her successful strikes as a portion of the ceiling came crashing down, Rayne had tried to dodge it, however it curved mid air, as it's trajectory was controlled by the Sith, and struck her in the chest. The impact knocked Rayne back a few feet, and sat her down, the panel falling to the ground after being released by the Sith. The panel had left a long deep scratch on her armors chest plate, something she would definately need to repair, after all, appearance was half the battle.

Still in the sitting position, Rayne raised her repeater, and let loose three short bursts of two bolts each, first two were aimed low towards the evil spines feet, then high towards her head, and finally midlevel towards it's stomach. Rayne hoped the randomness of her asphalt would allow at least one or two to find a home. She then began to stand up to a kneeling position. She wasn't exactly in cover, but at least she'd be able to react from here.

The shots were too quick for Kalistra to dodge, and with only one lightsaber at hand, and fairly weakened from her display, she only deflected one of the blasts before being tagged in the lower leg and in the chest; which was already heavily damaged. The impact of the blast spun her around, forcing her to land on her stomach. The armor couldn't protect her any longer. She could hardly protect herself now. A mouthful of blood was forced out of her mouth and onto the rough floor. Her body wasn't responding now, as her limbs felt heavy and numb. Was she going to die here? She tried to mouth her mouth to scream, to yell, to do anything other than lay on the floor and bleed out. But she couldn't find the strength, it had left her.

And boom the evil Sith spit hit the floor, a small pool of blood forming from the leaking faucet she called her mouth, Fhtagn score! Rayne thought.

Rayne kept her repeater trained on the limp body, two men were now standing in the door way with weapons, one a pipe, another a small older model blaster pistol.. Is... Is it dead? One of the men asked.

Dont touch her! Rayne called to them as she approached slowly, her repeater up and her finger ready to squeeze the trigger as she closed the distance. Rayne heard some ragged breathing as she drew closer, she had been heavily damaged, but was still alive.

Fearing the witchy force of the dark siders, Rayne squeezed the trigger three more times, letting out four bolts all aimed at the mid section of the prone woman before her. If she was still alive, Rayne wanted to make sure she wouldn't be for long..

Kalistra hardly felt the shots that killed her, her only thoughts lingering on what she would have done if it had been different, if things had gone her way. It didn't matter, she had failed, she wasn't strong enough, wasn't fast enough. She going to be done in by some knuckle dragging barbarian. She'd never know they satisfaction of hunting her father down, or seeing the look in his eyes as he died. She'd never get to experience the power she craved within the Sith ranks, or the authority that came with it. But she could imagine it, if only for a moment. Before the first shot rang out and ended her life, she shed a single tear out of frustration of her uselessness, then it was over. She was no more.

Stepping closer Ryane slid the saber away from her hand, the ragged breathing had stopped, and it appeared to be dead. Thank Kad.. Rayne thought. As she looked at the dead civilians, if it weren't for them she may not have been able to get the drop on her.

With a kick to the midsection, all the while keeping her repeater trained ok the riddled body, Rayne was convinced she was dead.

Rayne picked up the two sabers the girl had once possessed and clipped them next to the other one on her belt. Three was perhaps too many to carry around, but it would be worth it. As Rayne set to work, she discovered the dead Sith also carried with her an old DH - 7 Blaster Pistol, and a couple extra magazines for it, her armor was way too burnt through to even consider taking, and it was left on the body.

The last thing Rayne pulled from the body was a set of docking rights to an imperial Vector-class Shuttle, it would take her some time to find, but Rayne was sure it would stick out like a sore thumb when she got close.

Looking up at the pipe armed civilian, Burn the body, make sure this witchy Sith doesn't come back looking for us.. she commanded the man, who immediately started dragging the looted body from the room. Rayne reloaded her weapons before leaving the building, last thing she wanted was to get jump right after this. She needed a little R & R, and planned to go find her some as she set off toward the nearest landing pads to start looking for her new ship..
